    Chicken Bowl

Crave Mediterranean is in the shopping center on Republic Rd directly across from Mama Jean's Natural Grocery. The dining area has plenty of tables as well as booths. We were a party of 3. At our table we all ordered bowls. Lamb bowl. Chicken bowl. Shawarma Chicken bowl. Two of us selected the tzatziki sauce and my mom tried the tahini sauce. My mom loved the food but the sauces were not to her liking. Me and my sister most definitely enjoyed both. The food was magnificent. I ordered the strawberry lemonade and it is huge. It's yummy and HUGE. If you haven't been yet I definitely recommend Crave, it's so good. The meal was filling so my mom ordered a yummy baklava slice to go.

Updating with more photos. Still a favorite for us! Always great service, delicious food, and a calm relaxing dining environment.

    Lemonade to go!

Great spot. Service was stellar and so was food. I tried the mint lemonade which came out in an Okterfest-sized stein. It was light on the mint so it was perfect for me. You can get the sandwiches as a wrap so I opted for the hummus and falafel one. It was most excellent. The wrap also had seasoned fries in it. !! The lunch entrees also come with soup or salad. I loved the dressing on the salad. I got a side of saffron rice with my wrap which was delicious. I have never tried halva so I ordered one for dessert. It was delicious but super rich. It was drizzled with chocolate sauce. Having not ever tried it before, I would describe it as a crumbly sesame fudge. It was great but I only could finish half of it. The server asked if I wanted a refill (one is free on the lemonades) and I asked if I could get it to go. He brought out a quart sized food-service container and had poked a hole in the lid for a straw. So sweet but this drink was too big to fit into my cup holders. Still, it's the thought that counts. I would totally go here again. I saw a ton of stuff I wanted to try.

This was my first time here. I came when I was absolutely starving. I ordered the falafel sandwich and was surprised as to just how large it was! It was also hard to tell what all was in it because it was slathered with hummus on top. This was a ton of food but it was really good!

Chicken shawarma sandwich! Soooo good!! Their food is incredible!

I had their chicken shawarma sandwich and my fiancé had the Philly gyro sandwich and both were incredible. The lentil soup was great also. YUMMY

I said we'd go back, and we did! The salads were just as fresh as last time. This time, we got the tzatziki appetizer because we loved the tzatziki that came with it food when we were here last. My son had the beef shawarma wrap and said every bite just melted in his mouth. I wanted the tikka kabob wrap, but accidentally ordered the platter - which was also delicious! Our waiter, Elijah was awesome. We'll be back again next month to try something new. I really want to try the falafel and hummus!

My wife and I absolutely love Crave! My wife has a few serious food allergies and is vegetarian...so she's never comfortable going out to most places because of that. But, we know some of the folks at Crave and the attention to detail is wonderful and delicious! If you like gyros, hummus, pita bread, falafel, etc., it is all very tasty here! Thank you all for your hospitality and the great food!

    Kunafa, dessert.
    Felicia B.

Tried Kunafa here today and I'm officially hooked! This traditional Middle Eastern dessert is made with shredded phyllo dough, filled with lightly sweetened halloumi cheese, baked until perfectly crisp, then topped with warm honey and a dusting of ground pistachios. The texture contrast between the crunchy layers and gooey cheese was spot on, and the sweetness was just right--not overwhelming. If you've never had Kunafa before, this is a great place to start. I'll definitely be back for more.

When I say large, I mean it is massive. You need at least 2 to 3 people to eat the sandwich. Even if you took a quarter of the sandwich, you would be good to go for a meal. Often sometimes we will eat a quarter of it and take the other piece home after we split the whole thing in half. The soups here are phenomenal. They are made from scratch and they go fast. OH, and don't let me forget about the chocolate cake. It is wonderful! I try to get a piece every time I come. I believe the chocolate cake is homemade. Definitely a must have! The restrooms are well-stocked and usually pretty clean. The staff are pretty friendly,, with the caveat being that when the owner is checking you out at the register, he can be a bit prickly around the edges. Your main problem here will be finding a place to park if you go during a normal meal time. We usually park in the neighboring lot and walk over to the restaurant. Don't sleep on this place. It is SO good! Check it out for yourself next time you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

But the portions are small, and I felt like a needed a meal less than an hour after eating there, so... Not worth the money. But it was a good little sandwich if you're ever not hungry at all but feel the need to eat something. But if you're hungry, or even have a normal person-sized appetite, best to go somewhere else. Also, service is slow -- kind, but slow -- and you won't be getting your tiny deli sandwich in a hurry. So if you thought, "oh, a deli, I'll save some time and get a quick bite." No. No you will not. Nothing personal, but this is a confused business model yielding low ROI for the customer in terms of portion and quality per price. If you have the time and want to pay this much for a sit down restaurant, go get full at literally any table service restaurant in town and avoid this place. But, if you like overpaying for tiny sandwiches that take forever to be served, then this is the spot for you. I just don't see how I could ever be compelled to return here. This makes no sense as a restaurant. It was good--but it was just a little sandwich snack that took well over an hour to walk in, sit down, order, receive, and then eat. The eating part took almost no time, however, because, as I said, the portions are tiny. It did taste good, though, so you get a second star.
