    Chicken Shawarma (E) - Delightful!!
    Rika M.

The quality of the food they serve here simply cannot be ignored despite the fact that the serve isn't super good. It was a quick pick up order I needed to place before I headed out to my side hustle. I didn't have the luxury of spending a lot of time so I was hoping for a quick service. Fortunately for me, that's what I got. The employee who assisted me was a bit too nonchalant (wish he was a bit more courteous and welcoming). I called it "decent but nothing more. The food, however, was near excellent. I got me the Chicken Shawarma and this dish was simply more than delightful. The salad was dressed with a pleasantly tasting dressing, the hummus was as creamy as it could get, the rice was well cooked with the perfect moisture, and the chicken was well seasoned but not salty. This is/was easily one of the best Chicken Shawarma I've had in recent years is no way near an exaggeration. I could easily eat this dish two or three days in a row without getting tired of it. This place has a high-end restaurant feel. The two huge Turkish-looking lightings on the ceiling are quite eye-catching. It has an open kitchen concept where we can observe the kitchen staff cooking and yet it's never smoky or filled with all kinds of cooking smells. They must have a good ventilation system. I will definitely return to it when I "CRAVE" Mediterranean food.

Mediterranean food here was great !!!! Loved every dish and appetizer The food was cooked perfectly , so much flavor .... The service was great ... seems like they have a great team dynamic here Loved the location and the decor , just added a lot of culture. The one thing I will say is there there is NO ALCOHOL. I know that is sometimes a deal breaker when going out to dinner , but for those who done great it is a great place to check out .... None the less yes I will be back

6/7/26- Came here for good Mediterranean food after being disappointed at the Denver Greek Festival. I knew I could count on them for good food at a good price. Our server was super on top of drinks when we told her we had just spent hours in the sun. We never had to ask for a refill. Even though they were busy we got our food super fast.

Crave Mediterranean Grill has a nice ambience, making it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. The food is alright -- nothing spectacular, but decent for a casual bite. Service could definitely use improvement, as it felt a bit slow and inattentive. Overall, a middle-of-the-road experience.

We had a great time stopping in for a quick dinner here! It wasn't too busy when we showed up, and we were seated right away. The service was soon after, and we never felt like we were waiting for anyone to check in for too long. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere, the music was at a good volume to set the mood without being too loud. And the food was great! The pitas were airy and fluffy, the hummus and baba ghanouj were very flavorful, the sambousak was really rich but nice, and the Kafta Kabob entree was delicious. I love lamb, and this didn't disappoint. Absolutely a place I'd return to! Intestinal Impact Index Rating: 2/5 really not too bad. This place truly is a good experience beginning to end!

Crave is a perfect name as you'll crave the cuisine again and again. From the homemade pita to the light and airy rice the Mediterranean food is well spiced and tasty. It was almost full on a Saturday night so reservations are definitely recommended. I tried the kebab trio. The chicken was good, lamb was very good and kobideh (grilled beef) spectacular. Each entree comes with salad to begin, hummus, pita and rice. The platter was very filling. Our table also ordered the garlic paste, green beans and baba ghanouj. All were enjoyable as side dishes. More pita please!

What. A. Spot. Amazing food! Wonderful staff! Perfect lamb! I've been waiting to come here for a while...finally came and can't wait to come back! Definitely a spot to bring friends and family! Ambiance was on point for a Mediterranean joint! Got there at 11:30 and there was plenty of space but by 12:30 the place was full! Highly recommend the Lamb Chops! Perfectly cooked! The meat pie was an excellent appetizer! The pita and hummus and plenty of the rest were excellent too. Perfectly seasoned food. Generous portions! Left with a food coma! Don't forget the baklava...impeccable!

Beautiful place to dine! The decor inside was so fun to look at and the ambience felt very welcoming. The outdoor seating area looked equally as enjoyable. We ordered the side of fries and a la carte chicken shawarma and gyro and everything was delicious.

I heard about this place but I have had better Mediterranean food elsewhere. It's pretty good if you're craving something and happen to be in the area. I personally would only order the hummus and pita bread because that was actually pretty good. You get a pita bread the size of your face. We also got another dip which was good but I can't remember what it was called. So maybe come for pita and a variety of dips as a nice appetizer. The house salad dressing wasn't my favorite. It was a taste I couldn't stomach down. The gyro plate was plentiful but they were kind of plain and bland. I had to dip it in the hummus. I also ordered the banana milk out of curiosity if it tasted like the Korean ones but it was a banana smoothie. Service was friendly. Parking can get crowded because there are so many businesses in this plaza. It does surprisingly get busy here.

Stopped by Crave Mediterranean Grill before checking out the Bright Nights event at four mile. We chose this spot because it was close and the price is reasonable. We ordered the gyro entree ($18), and chicken shawarma entree ($18). The entrees come with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. It was definitely a lot of food for the price. Not only was it a lot of food it was good food! Service was also great. There are a lot of tables, the decor is nice and it's cool being able to see them make the food. I definitely recommend this spot, especially if you're in the area!

What I really like about Asli is that it feels authentic and consistent. The grilled meats are full of flavor, the sides are fresh, and everything tastes like it was made with care. Asli is definitely one of those local places that deserves more attention. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and a restaurant we keep coming back to. I won't say which, but boy, was it a letdown. The falafel were like little hockey pucks and the pita were like cardboard, flat and stale-tasting. I didn't think you could screw up pita. Only the hummus was passable. All this to say that I have been SPOILED by moving within walking distance of the Byblos in Alamo Placita, which is where a little taco place used to be. It's in a sweet little spot with patio seating on the corner of 4th and Corona, but the draw is really the food. I can't vouch for the meat dishes as a vegan, but WOW is their pita soft, fresh and flavorful, and they replenish it readily. Their hummus is excellent, their baba ghanoush is the best I've had since leaving the greater Boston area (with its abundance of outstanding ethnic restaurants) and the eggplant moussaka is fantastic. Plus they put this fully vegan cream dressing on the garden salad that is out of this world. Byblos has completely ruined me for a lot of other restaurants. As I'm writing this I think I've talked myself into going there for lunch!

On a super chilly Friday night, after I had been done with my second hustle business not too far from this restaurant, before I headed for another business I would need to take care of, I stopped here as I was famished. I simply couldn't think of any other place where I could get food that always promises quality where I wouldn't have to wait too long to get it. I was truly fearful that my uncontrollable appetite would swallow me had I gone to a different restaurant where I might end up waiting too long (LOL!!) My choice was right. And to be greeted by the same kind gentleman (who had always assisted me in the past) warmed up the core of my heart and soul. He did say to me that I should have called in to place my order ahead because he said that the kitchen was quite busy and that I might wait at least or as long as 20 minutes. I told him I was willing to wait although my stomach continued to yell at me from inside!! Well, I got lucky; it didn't take long. See...my assumption was right; this place never disappoints. This time, instead of the usual I get (the vegetarian plate), I tried something different. It's the Kafta Kabob plate. This is another great dish to consider ordering at this place as long as meat is part of your diet. The meat was unapologetically tender and well-seasoned. It was hard to fathom as to how they perfected this technique to cook it to its perfection. The accompanying salad and hummus were gracefully served in the same container. Did I say that Golden's hummus is one of the best? I think I did at least once. It is because of its impeccable creaminess. Awww...I can eat this thing almost everyday if I must. This is a tiny, more of a family-run restaurant type place. Inside is quite basic and yet it's never messy or dirty. This is a place you can comfortably sit and dine without worrying about its cleanliness; sanitation is not an issue. But most of all, you go here for the quality of food. This place easily beats a fine restaurant in an upscale neighborhood for sure.

While the food is mainly from Sudan, there are several similar items to what he is used to and what we know from other middle eastern restaurants. I will gladly explore something new, and decided on not only the known 4-part appetizer platter but also a spicy chicken plate that was supposed to have seasonings resembling peanut butter. The flavor of the seasoning was really tasty but I didn't get the peanut butter as much as our waitress mentioned. If the chicken itself wasn't so dry and the pita a little softer (they likely use a microwave instead of an oven to heat their pita), this would've been a 5-star dish. The overall rating loses another star for the atmosphere. No music. Only one person managing the front of house and at one point, she took her purse, walked out and went on an errand for 15 minutes. Our food became ready while she was out, so shortly before she came back, the chef had to come out and bring us the food. She was very nice, and likely stressed from being along in the front, so they would provide a much better experience if they had a second person up front.

And I'm glad I did. The restaurant was empty around 2pm (ish) on a Saturday, as I walked in nobody was around. Great photo taking moment is what I thought! While I was snapping some photos a woman walked out of the kitchen to greet me. She gave me one of the menu after I informed her this was for to go. After perusing it for a quick minute or so I set my eyes on the Half Grilled Chicken. Unfortunately though, the lady (after confirming with the kitchen) told me they were still cooking it so it'd take at least 30 minutes before it would be ready. I then asked her if Tikka (lamb dish) was ready for a quick to go. She said yes. This is a dish with lamb steak pieces but she kindly asked me if I would like a mixture of the steak pieces and Kebab meat (minced meat) which she was willing to do the alternative. Liked this idea of hers a lot so I gave her my peppy yes. My food was finally going! I looked around the entire restaurant thoroughly. Not necessarily super fancy in any way and yet I saw some accented decors (tapestry, artwork etc.) on every single wall. Not overly done; just the right amount of noticeable things here and there but most of all it was very clean. Took a bit over ten minutes before my meal came out; sure sign that they did prepare it fresh for me. She handed me a bag that contained it and off I went to do my business I had for the afternoon. Once I parked I checked what it looked like inside the box and it was beautiful. I, of course, took enough bites of it to ensure the quality of it as well. Yes, I agree with great reviews left by others. This place is solid. Between the lamb steak pieces and kebab I ended up liking the kebab slightly more but both of them were perfectly marinated in whatever the spices they used to make them. The bed of rice had the perfect moisture. The hummus almost tasted like baba ghanouj; very creamy indeed. This restaurant is now included in my "best Mediterranean restaurant" list in my neighborhood. As of this writing, I can still taste the delicious food I ate several days ago. I shall go back for more soon.
