The food is delicious. It is reasonably priced. My company loves the Mediterranean food as it offers a variety of sides. We often have Garbanzo's catered as their portions are decent to feed quite a bit of people. The colors and flavors are to die for. Food is always made very fresh and warm once delivered. They provide utensils and plates. I'm giving them a 3 star as I have not been to the location itself, but didn't want to miss out on giving them a review. The pita bread is always a bit hard which can make it difficult to enjoy with all the sides. When the food is catered the service is always great as the driver sets out all the food for us too. read more

New system. You can't even explain how ro use the system. Lazy guy at the counter literally said. I can't help you. You have to figure it out on the screen. So frustrating, why? Can your lazy ass at least tell the customer up front that you are completely out of exactly what we want to order. They wait until you are frustrated and when they finally decide to help, the customer has to go somewhere else because they can't make what you want and let's wait till the end to let you know they are too lazy to do a job, any job, ie, customer service/have food made at a restaurant just in case someone wants to order. Somehow... this place is still open... they have been in business at this location for many years... but are always chronically understaffed... even before COVID... Management can't figure out whether to commit to being a to-go operation or dine-in... My online orders never work out... they are not correctly prepared... and always 20+ minutes late... When I skip the online order and show up in person... even at busy lunch rush... they only have 1 employee frantically trying to put together wraps, salads and pitas... with room-temperature meats... This is an incredible concept... a healthy, fresh alternative to Chipotle... but you need more than 2 employees! Props to staying in business this long!! read more

You know how sometimes when you're upset about an experience you've had if you just sit on it for a while you realize that hey, nobody lost a limb; nobody died; and you understand that it wasn't that big a deal and certainly nothing to get so upset about that you ruin your day... ya know? Well this isn't one of those times. This is a time that the longer I sit on it the more miffed I'm becoming. And that is because after having a bad experience at Garbanzo in Glendale I was so concerned that I wrote a letter to their " customer experience" folks and its now been almost a month and they haven't had the simple curtesy to respond. So what happened you ask? (Or rather I asked and pretended it was you asking). Well, they got the order wrong and the food they did give me on an order for 5 people was not well prepared, as in, almost inedible. In fact I should have donated the falafels they served to the Avs to use as hockey pucks. Hard as rocks. Crisp as carbon briquets and just about as tasty. Additionally the baklava orders magically turned themselves into cookies without the decency of them asking whether--since they apparently didn't have any baklava--instead of telling me that and asking me if they could substitute cookies in their place they just made that unacceptable change on their own and had it become the surprise bad answer to people's statement, "well, at least there's baklava!" So instead of my coworkers enjoying the lunch I provided, everyone just sat there struggling through the mediocre to very bad (and wrong) food, wondering out loud why anyone would voluntarily subject themselves to such a miserable experience. Well, from the optimist's point of view I guess you could say that the one good thing about lunch was that it gave us an hour long enjoyable discussion about how bad Garbanzo's food was and how I'd never subject them to that experience again. So disappointing! As you can see from my previous review, I used to love this place. Since I don't work in the area anymore, I only order delivery. Today my husband and I ordered lunch and every single item was either missing entirely, or made incorrectly. I spent $16 on a "Gyro Meat Rice Bowl" that had no meat, and my husband's pita was missing all the veggies he selected. We ordered falafel, and that was left out too. I tried contacting the store directly, and the phone just rang, and then made a sound like a fax machine. DoorDash refunded $5 or my $50 order. We ordered 2 Baklava's in the very end after our combo meals. We get the usual of Platter with Falafel, Portobello mushrooms for the protein, babaganoush, yellow rice and all the veggies! Their fries are supposedly fresh made. We ordered a small size and it's always my go to. I enjoy the Tahini sauce and Cilantro sauce. The dine in area is open to the public after COVID-19 regulations, just incredibly short staffed. This isn't necessarily the two ladies fault, I hope they get more people!! She apologized profusely for the delay but I assured her I wasn't in a rush. If I was, I believe she would have dropped everything to assist me first. We had a nice chat about her day and experience working there. I got a steak plate. The sides were really good but the meat could have been more tender. The signature garlic sauce is wonderful - don't miss it. Price is a little high for fast casual, but portions are solid, particularly of you get a plate. There is one of these where we are from, but had never been. I really enjoyed the food, it was all delicious, fresh and the whole family enjoyed it. We will certainly visit the one by us. Stand out items were the hummus, Gyro meat and pitas. The only things I would improve are the cleaning, it just needed to be a tad better, but wasn't bad. The sodas. I love it when places have things other than Coke or Pepsi, but the Tractor stuff was just off, it tasted too much like some kind of strange sweetener and wasn't good. Both entrees I ordered were incorrect and the cookie was so raw I couldn't eat it. I'm disputing the charge and giving up on this place, don't waste your money, go to a different location. Absolutely love this concept! Tons of different things to choose from for proteins, vegetables, sides, etc. You could come here 100 times and never get the same thing twice! Went with the gyro meat on a fafa (wrap) and stuffed it with seasonal hummus, rice, tomatoes/cucumber mix, tzatziki, lettuce and other goodness. Staff was extremely nice, quick to make the order, and helped guide me with recommendations, answers to questions, etc. Located right off of Colorado Blvd (near the hotel) and pretty big parking lot although definitely can get busy. The seasonal hummus is great and when they have seasonal falafel that is usually great. This location has unique options for the fountain drinks and teas. All very good, natural ingredients... and you get flavors I've never seen anywhere else. The inside of this location is very big for its location. Great spot for groups. Biggest pet peeve here is the staff absolutely rush you through the line, even when there is literally nobody behind you. I ordered a very large order for a work event feeding 6 people. I ordered 30 minutes before the store opened so ensure there was enough time for the order to be prepared properly. We love Garbanzo's, but the instructions were not read properly for our order and resulted in quite a few mistakes that are dangerous. Missing Items: I ordered Extra hummus and sauce for the order all together, it was missing. I ordered gluten free pitas and normal pitas. There were no gluten free pitas for my boss and her clients. When I called to confirm with the store, someone named Rachel told me they should be properly labeled. When I told her there are no labels she told me the "flat ones are GF and the Puffy ones are normal Pitas". That is not safe for people who have high gluten sensitivities so all pitas were avoided for the GF sensitive clients. Wrong items: Also, with one of the orders, it was just a simple Steak plate, no rice, roasted veggies and a few sauces. The steak plate came loaded with random items that were not ordered. A large shareable french fries were also ordered with sauce and we got a single served fry and no sauce was provided. All in all I give this place 2 stars. Why have a "customize" option if the food preparer doesn't follow the custom requests? Very disappointing. Not happy at all with my experience with this Garbanzos. Ordered ahead online. Ordered to gyro plates, one with extra falafel. Husband ordered a side of fries. Picked up the order, drove away. Was checking order in the car during rush hour traffic- completely missing the fries and my falafel. Called - the lady who answered says "oh yes, forgot to tell you we have no fries". Also my falafel was missing. Had to turn around - go all the way back- she gave us a few extra falafel. Not sure that made up for the $2.50 for the fries and the extra 2.50 for added falafel. Fantastic gluten free options but issues with server. After I told him I'm gluten free and what are my options he held a pita in his hand ( for someone else's order) and then spooned my food on my plate using his other glutenized hand to push the chicken onto my plate. I mentioned again I'm gluten sensitive but instead of understanding that even if you have gloves on if you touch a gluten pita and then use that same gloved hand to push chicken onto my plate it's cross contaminated. The owner saw the horror on my face and offered us gf pita which was really kind.
