When I think wings in this area, Craven Wings is my first thought. Big, meaty wings in flavorful sauces, and fries I can't recommend highly enough. The hottest sauce is still tolerable and flavor-first, not mouth-numbing heat-first. Recent renovations are to their benefit (although I REALLY miss the TV stations that were replaced by a full-time country music station) as is the decision to stop charging for refills. Placed a takeout order when our food arrived. took 20 minutes AFTER we had paid our bill. and the takeout order wasn't even correct! called to discuss with manager and she said "they would take care of it on our next visit". I live in the subdivision right next to the restaurant. Craven Wings state that they deliver. As a local we come to craven wings a lot. The food is usually great but this was my last visit. We waited over an hour and 20 minutes. Two large parties got their food before us even though they came in behind us . Once we finally received our food it was cold. We were headed to Wendy's but came here instead. Very happy we did. They have an affordable kids menu. It was $4.99 for fingers, fries, and drink on the kids menu. The Craven Bites were delicious! The sauces are savory and hot (if you like). The ranch was homemade...yum!! The okra and sweet potato fries were well done. The service was great! My only complaint is the kids burger tasted strange as if it had fillers. We didn't try the adult burger, so can't comment on that. Super happy we landed here! read more

This is a small restaurant in Seymour in the Kroger Shopping Center and the chicken tenders and the curly fries are the best! I even plan to order the chicken for Christmas Eve and add homemade dishes to complete the meal. They also use real ranch dressing which is a plus. Locally owned! First visit today at lunch time. Ordered the 10 piece fingers combo (medium sauce) w/fries for me and wifey. It was enough for the two of us, so that made it a reasonably priced lunch. Was not impressed, but will give them another try. Took 20-minutes to get my food from the time of order. Chicken fingers were swimming in sauce. I think the chicken would have been nice and crispy if they weren't soaking in sauce. The fries were decent. I really wanted to like this place, maybe it was an off day. read more

Wings are my fav food so I'm pretty particular about where I eat them. This was my first trip to Craven Wings. Very nice and open space with a side patio. Lots of TVs placed in different locations so this will be a great place to watch sports. Service was exceptional and staff was friendly and inviting. Beer was served in ice cold glass EVERY time. I asked for extra crispy wings and that's just what I got. They were delicious! Sauces are homemade each day so I give them an A+ for that. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars was that their blue cheese was so-so and they didn't have as many beers on draft to choose from. Other than that it was a really great experience. Stopped in for lunch and I'm glad I did. I ordered a 10 piece wing- garlic and fries. It took a bit for the wings to come out but when they did I knew why. Like all the other reviews say these wings are big. Most times I'm not a fan of big wings because they are not crispy but this place knows what they are doing. The wings hit the table and the smell of garlic punched me in the face. The wings were crispy and delicious. The fries i think are hand cut and they are like shoestring fries. Again these were hot and crispy. I only made it thru 6 so keep that in mind when ordering. They would not split the 10 piece order into two sauces so that's why I'm giving them 3 Stars. read more

I just ate here with my family. It was pretty good. It's nothing fancy but I really liked the sauce flavors. The chicken fingers are huge too. I got a five piece and only could eat three. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I would come back. The only negative I can say is the bone-in wings we tried were a little over cooked and tough. So if your in a hurry not a place to run in and out but if your not it's definitely worth the wait. This is in the same mall as Kroger and Tenn Nails not five minutes from my house, so I drive past it often. One day I stopped to treat myself to lunch. The service was friendly and welcoming, so I was optimistic. I always get wings naked the first time I eat somewhere so I can see what they actually do. The wings were good - big meaty wings, fried nice and crisp. The hand cut curly fries, to be honest, sucked. They were half cooked, still a little al dente in spots, greasy and cold. (I did take out or I would have returned them). The unsweet tea was great - they use Luzianne, which I have come to find is the best for iced tea. Will I go back? Probably, the wings and tea were worth a second chance. Might even try the fries again. read more

I have been wanting to try Craven Wings for some time now. We moved here from NY 45 minutes from Buffalo. We ordered the garlic wings and the hot wings. The wings were cooked perfectly and like someone else commented they took a while. Because it was a take out order I ordered the hot wings with sauce on the side to prevent them from getting soggy on the way home. Here is the reason for the 3 Stars, when I got home and opened the box it was missing the hot sauce on the side. What a disappointment, also no blue cheese. Luckily we had some Frank's red hot on hand to make our own hot sauce as well as Blue Cheese Dressing. My suggestion for them would be to include Blue Cheese at all times. The hot sauce was an accident maybe the Blue Cheese was too. Otherwise the wings were good and the garlic wings were delicious. I would give them another try read more

I called craven wings at 4:58pm to be placed on hold. I understand they may be busy. After holding for a while I get disconnected. I try over and over for a total of 27 times. I still get voicemail. I decide to drive thru the drive thru line to place my order to get greeted by a hateful scruffy looking rude man that informed me that was just for pick ups. Never again. I was giving them a second chance since previous order discovered a gray hair in my food. If your in Seymour try the other place on Boyd's Creek. It's much better and more friendly. read more

A great restaurant with perfect wings! The service was a bit slow, considering that there were only 3 other customers there. The food, however, was worth the wait. We ordered 14 wings and a burger. The BBQ wings were great, but the mild was a bit too mild, so I would suggest getting medium if you want a bit of spice. The burger was thick and juicy, and I loved it. I'm sure the wings are terrific. We however did not have to opportunity to order any. After deciding on this wing joint to provide our football feast and calling an order in, we were placed 'on hold' for 10+ minutes before finally giving up and ordering from somewhere else. The lady that answered asked to put us 'on hold' and by that just laying the phone down for us to hear her ringing up customers and talking to staff. Simply poor customer service. With as many locations to eat in town, I'd imagine the market is pretty competitive and entrepreneurs should be fighting for customer's dollars...apparently not this place. read more
