What a great gem of an ice cream shop! While it was a little confusing on how to get there it's located on the corner of Alondra and Clark where the Chevron gas station is. Parking is a bit limited though. It is a combo store connected to Cravings Hot Chicken. One of the staff working both sides, Adam, was amazing. They're coming up on their first full year open, converting it from it being a barber shop from previous owners. The ice cream side is a bit in the small size, containing various Japanese snacks. There isn't much in the way of tables but an ice cream bench and seats. No restroom either. It was empty at the time we went around 8pm on a Thursday. It was our first time and he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, went over most the items and suggestions. This man is the definition of great customer service. Gave suggestions on items and answered our questions. We opted for the Churro Sundae which, is a beast of a dessert and recommended a shareable one. It consisted of 1 layer of 1 large ice cream scoop 3 fresh Churro pieces, and a 2nd layer of a second large scoop of ice cream with another 3 Churro pieces. It came with a topping and drizzle of your choice. Went with Cookie Monster (blue cookies and cream) and Salted Caramel ice cream flavors. Brownie and cinnamon toast crunch as toppings with a caramel drizzle. Adam was fantastic recommending flavors that might go well with the flavors we chose. This dessert was amazing, the Churro was nice and warm slightly melting the ice cream Brownie bits in every bite. Cookie monster had nice chunks of cookies while the salted caramel ice cream had strong caramel flavors, it was great. Would love to try their other items! While we had waited for our sundae Adam also proceeded to go over the Cravings Hot Chicken menu which I definitely want to try. Definitely head over and try Cravings, Adam will take care of ya.

Walking in, the themed decor is so eye catching. They have a bunch of cool & interesting flavors of chips, I'll have to come back with my daughter to try them. Service was amazing, we let the guy at the register know it was our first time and he broke the menu down for us and was patient while we made our selection. The waffle sandwich was amazingggggggg, I found this place on yelp because I was craving something sweet & it hit the spot. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks everyone at Cravings!

Today I was really craving ice cream and waffles. I decided to go to a local cafe and unfortunately they no longer had the variety as advertised in their yelp. So this spot was another location I considered. Well... I am 1000% happier that I came here! I have seen cravings for a while but I've never tried it. I wish I did 2 years ago when I stopped in the area. I had the horchata ice cream with peanuts, nutella drizzle wrapped in waffle which was PHENOMENAL. Creamy, tasty, and all I can say is... it satisfied my CRAVING! But I'm not done yet. I think even better than the ice cream was the service. The person who helped me was kind, and she paid attention to detail; bringing me a napkin when she realized I was in need of one. This place is a 10/10. I will be back and I will brings friends! Thank you Cravings for an awesome experience!

@cravingsicecream Talk about dessert! First time being here and yes I'll be back ! They had so many options to chose from ! And the prices were reasonable! The staff were very helpful and friendly ! Which is always a plus ! Very clean and I loved how they had different snacks you could also buy , that you won't usually see in stores ! They have a small outside seating which is prolly best so you can eat it while it's fresh ! They have a cute picture wall ! z that stayed ice cream wasted ! And to tip it off and make it 10x better owned by the same company they have a chicken /food spot ! Which smelled soooo good if I didn't just finish eating I definitely would have tried them out as well ! With that being said I'll be back ! You guys hurry and go try yourself !

Milkshake was so watery and not even cold. It was so gross. They charged for whip cream and it was so watery and barely any in it. The Thai tea is gross as well. I threw it away. Used to like this place, now I wouldn't come back.

Second time trying Cravings Ice Cream and they have not disappointed either times. Service was very quick and everyone working there was very friendly. I think that the owner even came around making sure if everything was good and if we needed anything else. They have a ton of ice cream options available and even a bunch of Asian snacks inside. Location has been clean each time we have visited.

I stumbled across this place on accident and I'm really glad I did because it was really delicious! I hate over paying for ice cream just to have someone drizzle some caramel syrup over it and call it handcrafted but this place really surpassed my expectations! And the pricing is pretty decent. I had the coffee & cookie ice cream on a waffle cone and my daughter had the Cookie Monster ice cream on a warm freshly made waffle. Our taste buds were in ice cream heaven! We will definitely be stopping by again. read more

Awesome service and very cool vibe inside the store. I loved the horchata ice cream with cinnamon toast crunch and churro style waffle bits, unfortunately we were looking forward to the strawberry cheesecake ice cream in our second waffle bits and got the sorbet ice cream by mistake . The prices here are surprisingly reasonable! I'm not sure if the man at the register was the owner or the manager but he was very friendly and informative... Extremely helpful and polite definitely made me want to come back. I've only been one time but whenever I'm craving some ice cream or something sweet I'll definitely head in because it overall was a great experience. The weight wasn't too long and the entire staff was very friendly and happy to be there creating a very pleasant experience. Oh and he gave me a coupon for our next visit- super cool! read more

Was okay not what I expected pictures are always deceiving. I would recommend but I would call before going to see if they have what you want is not you'll get there and be disappointed that they don't have what you're going for. They were all out of the churro ice cream and when I asked for it the attitude I received because I asked for it was definitely uncalled for. read more

This place lives up to its title. The ice cream is creamy and delicious. It was so inviting that I ordered a multitude of items from their menu. Everything I tasted was scrumptious. I just love good food, and this is good food! IJust left and I tried something else new called a "DO" Whip. It was a smooth pineapple blend that was not too sweet and not tart at all. My family is a huge fan of this place! Sometimes we miss each other within minutes! Te/he owners are very nice and accommodating with helping pick flavors! My husband really likes the ice cream taco which I am eager to try soon!!! I personally love the peanut butter ice cream. Even just plain, it's so good! They serve a brand named fosselmans. The delicious ice cream. I had the waffle sandwich with I believe cappuccino chip ice cream. The ice cream was delicious, hands down. Way too sweet and over priced. Some of the flavors we wanted were not available, I settled for a cookies and cream shake and was not worth it. A McFlurry has much better flavor. The customer service was great. The guy who helped us was super nice and helpful! The sandwich was awesome--really good waffle recipe. The waffle was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, everything you want in a waffle. The PB&J sandwich is a must have if you go. I went here because of tik tok. Don't believe the hype guys. My wife and I are starting to cook tik tok recipes and visiting tik tok restaurants. This was our first one and it kind of failed. Kids liked the Cookie Monster milk shake. It was just ok for me. And we had the waffle bites and ice cream. Waffle was hard, and I expected pieces of waffle, not huge waffle chunks. 2 strip of 3 squares and 1 strip of 6 squares. But while waiting for our ice cream people were going and ordering, so I'll just say it wasn't to our liking. read more

A hidden treasure. Found a new whole in the wall dessert spot, that's better than most highly publicized places. The owner is very personable. The waffle cones and waffle tacos are made right in front of you. Their flavor and texture are the right amount of sweetness and perfect crunch. You're allowed to sample any flavor you want before making up your mind. The price is relatively reasonable. But, your sweet tooth CRAVINGS will definitely be satisfied. We walked in on a winter evening; California weather is very supportive of that. A crowd immediately formed after we walked in. Called to ask the ice cream flavors & the guy on the other line was super helpful he text me the flavors & the menu. He told me I could place the order via text to get started before I got there. I've been there before & my go to is always the churro style mini bites w/ horchata ice cream w/ cookie crisp topping & condensed milk. My husband always get the churro style mini bites w/cookie monster ice cream, fruity pebbles topping & nutella drizzle. Whatever you pick, it will not disappoint! Ice cream is delicious! A hole in a wall but so worth it!!! I found this place and it doesn't look like much but as soon as you walk in, you get the ice cream vibe. The waffles were so delicious and fluffy. The place is pretty good I have been going for the past two years and a half. Love all their toppings and especially the ice cream flavors. Stopped going recently after they increased their prices. For two waffle cones it went from 14-16 dollars to over twenty dollars. Other than that I would have given a 5 star. read more

Came out with my girlfriend because we wanted ice cream, wanted to try somewhere new instead of the usual spots, saw that this was top in the area so gave it a try. I had waffle bites with cookie monster and my order was wrong but since it was busy didnt want to be that guy. The ice cream tasted flavorless and so did the waffle despite being churro style. My girlfriend got a shake with cinnamon toast crunch and when she saw i was disappointed with what i got she showed me the ratio of cereal to ice cream, the cup was almost full with cereal instead of ice cream. I feel for the price I paid i couldve gotten better ice cream elsewhere with balanced and correct toppings. read more

Wish I would have tasted my drink while I was still at Horchateria...I would have asked for a remake.

The service here is very friendly and helpful as well. They're very patient even though it can get really busy with lines out the door. They have classic flavors as well as seasonal experimental ones. I ended up getting the black sesame cookies and cream as well as the Thai tea butter crunch. So delicious. I came on a weekend evening and parking in this area could be really tight. There's a lot of restaurants and other places here that are all pretty popular so this place can get really crowded.

I'm not totally sure how, but I somehow got a free scoop reward loaded onto my Baskin Robbins…read moreaccount even though I've been a rewards member for close to a year. This year so far has been quite busy for me that I didn't have time to redeem this reward until I was doing some shopping nearby. My route took me to this Baskin Robbins on the southeast corner of Alondra and Woodruff, where dd's Discounts is the anchor store. Baskin Robbins is at the very corner of the building, and you can't really miss it whether you're coming in from either of the cross streets. When I arrived at about 4:30 PM on a Saturday, there was just one customer inside, and she was sitting at one of the four tables inside enjoying her scoop of ice cream. A female employee greeted me, and I asked her if I could redeem my free scoop reward here, knowing that not every Baskin Robbins location would honor it. Sure enough, she answered affirmatively, and it took me a while to decide which flavor to get. Lately, I had been watching my sugar intake, and so I would normally have gotten a flavor that was no sugar added. The only flavor I saw that had no added sugar was the pineapple coconut, but I wasn't feeling in a tropical mood if that makes sense. I was willing to cheat with a sweet treat for me to eat. Try saying that ten times fast lol. As I was scanning the flavors posted on the ice cream chests, the one that caught my eye was the Love Potion #31 only because it was the Flavor of the Month. The description of that flavor says, "White Chocolate & Raspberry flavored Ice Creams bursting with Raspberry-Filled Chocolate flavored Hearts, Raspberry Swirls & Chocolate flavored chips." Sound like a flavor explosion? You bet! Except it was too much good on one side, but nowhere near enough good on the other. I'll explain later. When I told the employee I wanted to try the Love Potion, she asked if I wanted a cup. I was expecting her to say cone as well even though I would have preferred a cup, but she never did. I just agreed to the cup, and she fetched a scoop of the Love Potion ice cream into my cup. Since the Baskins Robbins app had gone through an update recently, I wasn't sure how to redeem the reward. Instead of instructing me what to do or where to position my phone, she asked for my phone so she could scan the QR code that popped up on the screen. I wish there was a scanner that the customer could have simply scanned his/her phone without having an employee touch it, but I guess it can only be done from behind the front counter. After she completed my transaction, she added a small pink spoon to my ice cream, and I took my sweet treat to a table by the window. That table I sat at wasn't very clean, unfortunately, but since I was only going to be there for a few minutes, I didn't mind. I enjoyed the complimentary scoop of the Love Potion ice cream, but not nearly as much as I wanted to. For one, I didn't taste any white chocolate at all, which was one of the reasons why I got the Love Potion. There was soooooooo much raspberry flavor all around that it felt like I was consuming some artificial raspberry syrup in every bite. The chocolate was a plenty in my scoop, and it balanced out the raspberry flavor well enough that the raspberry flavor wouldn't be too distracting. However, like I said, I was a little disappointed in not tasting any white chocolate in the Love Potion. So while the flavor was good, I'm glad it's only a Flavor of the Month because I wouldn't get it a second time, but would recommend trying just once if you get the chance. You might like it better than I did, but I personally found the raspberry to be borderline cloyingly sweet. When I was done with my scoop, I tried to find napkins, but didn't see any at the front counter, An employee, who had just stepped inside to start her shift, was looking in my direction, and I asked if there were napkins. I only needed one to wipe my mouth, but she gave me 5 lol. I wish there was a napkin dispenser that is easily accessible for customers so that the employees don't have to touch them first. What is this, The Stand? lol Now that I think about it, perhaps the app upgrade was the reason for my free scoop reward? Not sure, but if you see a notification to update the app, do so, and you might just be rewarded as well :) Service was friendly, but not as friendly as the employees from the other locations. Definitely passable, however, for a chain like Baskin Robbins, though I wish the employee who serviced me would show a little more appreciation for my business. Overall, I do recommend this Baskin Robbins if you're in the area and want some ice cream. I like how it's pretty close to the 605 freeway, so when I needed to go back home, I could take the freeway rather than surface streets the whole way.

The men working behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful, also letting us know they were newly opened. So love being able to support a new local business in the area. I didn't look up the place entirely to see what they offered so was surprised when I saw the frozen yogurt machines (similar to Yogurland or other yogurt shops) lined up with various flavors. Everything was clean, and the machines led up to the counter to pay where the usual yogurt toppings are available for you. We did not plan to get yogurt for our visit but instead got the 15-piece mini pancakes and added ice cream to it. I believe you can get all the toppings on the pancakes but we only got strawberry syrup, strawberries & bananas, and cinnamon toast crunch. We were also able to sample some of the ice cream flavors some of which were unique. The strawberry cookies and cream and matcha (I forget if it was matcha strawberry). I understand that busy times can be stressful, but I don't understand why I was met with such negativity when I approached with a positive attitude and simply followed the pickup instructions. To make matters worse, one of the black gloves the cashier had been using while handling the cheese somehow ended up inside my bag with my shrimp. That was very concerning from a food safety standpoint. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. I stumbled upon this ice cream spot by accident, and honestly, I'm so glad I did! The ice cream itself was really tasty--creamy and flavorful, nothing over-the-top but definitely enjoyable. What stood out the most for me, were all the Korean snacks. It's rare to find this kind of selection outside of H-Mart (which is a bit of a drive for me), so that was a big win. The shop has a super colorful and welcoming vibe, and I noticed there's also a chicken restaurant right next door under the same "Cravings" brand. It looked like they serve chicken sandwiches, but I'll have to come back and check it out for sure. I have been in search of as many local gems as I can find. It is with complete certainty that I can say Cravings is one of them! Located in a quiet neighborhood, Cravings transports you to a simpler time and place. One where ice cream is King and quite frankly there are no calories. Cravings offers a wide variety of flavors to indulge in and the staff does an extraordinary job of answering questions and making recommendations based on preferences. Although, there is extremely limited seating inside (and no seating outside) a friend and I used this as an opportunity to chat with the locals and walk down Main Street. I had a huge craving for ice cream. And i wanted it from a bonafide ice cream parlor. Got on Yelp and voila- found it. Was checking out the pics that was posted and i was quite impressed with the creative ways one can actually eat ice cream. They didn't have a large variety of flavors, but the flavors they did have was enticing enough for me to try. I ultimately chose 2 scoops in a waffle cone - banana nut and cereal milk flavored ice cream; not a bad combo. It was quite delicious! The owner was very cool. We accidentally stumbled upon this place while driving down Alomdra and my daughter begged me for days to come back and try it. We finally did and now she says it is her new favorite place! Generous portions and excellent customer service. She ordered a vanilla shake with oreos and nutella, and got a waffle with strawberry shortcake (i think) ice cream and cinnamon toast crunch topping for my son.
