I always come here once a year to get a taste of crawfish during the season because the taste is always consistent. We usually always get the Cajun fries and I get the Mix for crawfish. Soooo yummy, perfectly buttery and has the kick of Thai basil. The servers are prompt on checking in on you and there's a sink right next to the restrooms to wash your hands. Okay okay last update xD Crawfish Cafe will always be my #1 regarding to their signature flavor (Cajun/garlic butter). Would recommend to anyone who hasn't tried crawfish or wants to try viet crawfish. Only complaint is sometimes it can be really salty or just right depending on the batch. Other recs: pineapple sausage is BOMB...expensive, but they know people would rather spend the $7 per sausage than to not eat it. It's that good. Lots of seatings/gets busy with long line during weekend nights/family/kid friendly/ has additional hand washing stations next to the bathrooms in the back. Service might take awhile, because it can get really busy. I do truly recommend crawfish cafe though. read more

A Crawfish Cafe location recently opened up near me in Pearland, and after my mom and I visited, we became obsessed. Therefore, we wanted to try this location to see if it was as good, and it definitely was! Located inside Hong Kong Market, this restaurant was relatively filled even after just opening for the day. Our waiter was nice, and the food was delicious. Thank goodness I'm signed up for their loyalty program because I'll be back very soon! I ordered a snow crab cluster and a pound of crawfish, both in The Signature flavor. I've tried The Grail flavor at the Pearland location, but it was slightly too herbaceous for me and overwhelmed my palette after a while of eating. The Signature flavor was perfect for me because it was garlicky and spicy at the same time. All the seafood was cooked perfectly, and I came out super fast. The same could not be said with my mom's order of the Whole Fried Flounder. I was halfway done with my seafood until her fish came out. I felt bad that she had to watch me happily enjoy my seafood while she was stuck watching me eat. Solid place for crawfish. Purchase seafood by the 0.5-1lb (crawfish has to be ordered by the lb). Potatoes, egg, etc are extra charge. You can mix flavors and add spice. Their boudain balls are so good and flavorful when paired with the sauce they came with. Their empanadas are just okay. I've had their garlic noodles a few years ago and would have to say the quality is not as good. Noodles were dry. Flavor was good however, which it wasn't so dry. read more

The crawfish is always amazing here, maybe because it's timing in the season but they were a bit small today (March 15). Our table for two at 6:30 had a 20 minute waitlist wait, waited 20 mins from ordered until getting our food. We ordered again after eating around 8:15 and for one pound was told it'd be 10 mins, it was 20 minutes again. It was very hot and fresh unlike our first order, but that meant there was a lot of water/liquid so the flavor was not as strong as it was washed out. Crawfish season is upon us so a group of friends and I decided to start the season at one of the best spots in my opinion. I've been to this location multiple times and it hits every time. It is located in the Hong Kong Mall in Chinatown. It is a massive shopping center and parking is plentiful. Every time I have come, I have gotten seated right away no matter the size of the crew I am with. On this last trip, I came with a large group of friends and they easily accommodated us. Michelle was our server and it happened to be her first day. She handled us like a pro! Major props to her. It is an open concept but there is a partition separating it from the mall. This was a nice change from the last time I came where patrons of the restaurant were exposed to people walking by constantly. Whether you're craving crawfish or not, this place has a nice variety of food. There's always that one person who won't eat the delicious mud bugs. They have a nice mix of Viet style food but also have Cajun thrown in the mix as well. Appetizers here are great. I have had Cajun calamari, crawfish eggrolls, boudin balls, oyster nachos, and Cajun fries. The Cajun fried rice, shrimp fried rice and garlic noodles are solid pairings with your seafood choices. One of their newest additions that I had not seen on prior visits was the Smack Packs. We ordered 3 Smack Pack XLs for the table and each pack included Cajun rice, shrimp, snow crab cluster, corn, potato, sausage, boiled egg, smack sauce. If you want a little variety outside of the boils and not have to add alot of things a la carte, this is a good option. The snow crab was especially good and came with all the utensils needed to break it down. I usually always get a pound of crawfish and a pound of headless shrimp. Prices vary according to market price. Current prices are pretty high. My go to sauce is the Signature sauce which is a garlic butter and Cajun seasoning mix, extra spicy. The flavors and spice level is exactly what I crave and keep me coming back. The crawfish here has always been mostly bigger and easy to peel and eat. The shrimp though expensive is a must for me. What puts Crawfish Cafe above the rest is they mostly peel it for you as well so the flavors soak in and I can peel and eat quickly. They also have a bunch of fried seafood and wing options which are delicious as well. Don't sleep on their po'boys either. Overall, to me, Crawfish Cafe has always been a great experience for me on every visit. I will definitely be back during crawfish season! read more
