I have visited Crazy Bean Coffee a couple of times in the past week. My selections have been latte and cafe Americano, and I enjoyed both. They have a good selection of pastries and other treats, making a visit for the morning "pick me up" pleasant and worthwhile. The staff is friendly, and they provide good service. Tried this place because it's a non-Starbucks local biz and in a great location with a drive-thru right near my house. Unlike Starbucks, you can only order at the window and there is no menu before that so after waiting for the car ahead, we then had to figure out what we're gonna get and then they make it while you're at the window. Seems they should put a menu a few cars back from the window so we could've at least been ready. Also, probably expensive to install but an ordering menu where they could take orders and start making your drink before the window would be helpful. Very inefficient the way it works. But they get added points for a great revitalization of an old defunct Walgreens location (there's a gym and indoor shooting range in the building too, very good re-use!). Anyway, the girl at the window was very nice and helpful but drinks were relatively slow to come out. I got a peppermint white chocolate mocha (1/2 the sweetener) and it was good, not too sweet and good flavor. Kinda hard to tell how good the coffee actually is when masked by sweeteners but it didn't taste bitter or anything. Prices were par for the course. I'd probably go back if I pass by and there's no cars in the drive-thru. read more

So many sugar free options, decently healthy food choices, and the option to put protein powder in your drinks is something special they offer that I've only ever been able to do at home!! Their cold brew is amazing & the staff is super friendly. We loooovveee a chocolate protein powder cold brew, and the staff has worked with us to perfect it which is super sweet and something you'll never get going to a chain. Great coffee... and service with a smile! We shared a delicious pastry to go along with our coffees. Quinn, juggling the counter and the drive-thru, kept us engaged with conversation and made us feel right at home on our inaugural visit. We're ashamed to admit that it has taken us this long to get past the puzzle of a coffee bistro housed inside a gym and shooting range... but it surprisingly works! We took a prepared-same-day sandwich to go on our way out. Who would've thought that such a cozy coffee venue was tucked into our neighborhood? Decided to get a oatmilk mocha and a vegan breakfast burrito. My coffee was absolutely delicious, the perfect ratio of sweet and coffee. The burrito was tasty although a bit small for the price point, but I know the cost of everything is going up in general, so understandable. The drive through woman was so sweet and helpful, and let me know that they have a wide variety of snacks and food items to look through inside. Overall, a great experience!! read more

Great service and amazing food and drinks! The staff is so friendly, and the drinks are customized to your liking. I highly recommend trying the amino slushes, dirty Chai (I get it with almond and vanilla syrup) and the food is really good too. They have these things called cronuts that are so good. read more

Im disappointed with this place, it's very hit or miss. Some days the coffee is pretty good, but today my friend and I got the worst tasting coffee ive ever had (we ordered the same drink and they both tasted the exact same). Im not sure if the espresso was burnt, or if the syrup was rotten, but it was awful. I went in a few weeks ago and ordered a bagel, and the one she tried to give me had green mold on it! It's obvious they are not doing a daily check of their food. They have good hours and a cute place but I don't think i will be returning. read more

The concept of the old Rite Aid being taken over by a new business was a cool idea. However, the menu has nothing that makes this place unique or would want to make me "support a local business" , it's a simple menu (maybe some new gen would call it minimalistic) but lacks creativity and anything that I would want to go back for. You would think for a new business (across the street from Starbucks and a Boba shop) they would have a drink of the month or something creative to get the word out.... Nope, just a plain ol menu.
