This past weekend, Crazy Cakes Cafe hosted my daughter's 5th birthday party . Crazy Cakes did a fantastic job. The children made individual pizzas, then, while the pizzas cooked, decorated up to 4 cupcakes each. I ordered a cake for a joint birthday party for my daughter and husband, turning 30 and 60 respectively. I showed Erica a picture of a cake I found online and asked her to replicate the cake. It's a 2 tiered cake but split in half with each half decorated differently, one half for my husband the other for my daughter. Erica did a great job! She went above and beyond with the details. The cake was to be delivered to the venue but the Amazon delivery of the final decorating detail was running late. She waited around past closing time for the delivery and delivered the cake herself to the venue. The cake was a huge hit at the party! Not only did it look great but was sooooo delicious! What a wonderful bakery! We arrived from the airport, found a parking place just across the street with time on it, and ordered chocolate --- hot chocolate, double chocolate chip cookie and chocolate-covered banana, which we split. The chocolate itself is outstanding, best quality for all three items. They also bake with the best butter and other ingredients. The banana was perfectly ripe. I have been to other more pretentious places that do not make the extra effort to use all the best ingredients and take such care to select everything they use. Our service was warm and welcoming. To start: this should really be a NO STARS/ZERO rating. My sister and I ordered from here to celebrate our brother's birthday. We ordered cupcakes arranged in his age. When my sister picked them up, she saw that they did not look great and was then told they did not have a box to put the arrangement in. How does a bakery not have a box for a cake? They wanted to put it in a used carton box from a delivery they had received. My sister said NO and they proceeded to wrap the cake in cellophane. In doing so, the woman kept ruining the cupcakes and had to 'fix' them. The cupcakes were arranged on a piece of cardboard (an extra $15 for that!) and the birthday message looked like it was done by an infant. We paid $60 for 14 cupcakes, including the cardboard base. What a ripoff! We don't mind paying a higher cost, but in this case the quality/service was very poor. My sister then went to Carvel to get an appropriate box, and at no cost; although, she did leave a tip for them being so accommodating. The most embarrassing part is that we had to bring these to an upscale restaurant so our party could sing "Happy Birthday" to him. We apologized to our brother for the mess we brought. He was very gracious and wasn't too bothered about it. However, not only did they look that way, but everybody at the table agreed that they tasted very dry, as well. This is the first, and last, time we will go there and will definitely not recommend them to family and friends. It would have been better to go to a supermarket bakery and gotten a better product. read more

We are so lucky to have this bakery in town. When I had to get cupcakes for a child that has fish, egg, dairy, nut, gluten and soy allergies this place went above and beyond. There were several phone calls to discuss what kind of soy allergy and I confirmed there was a soy lecithin and soy protein allergy. I found out from the mother of the child the margarine they used with no reaction and communicated that was Earth Balance and the bakery went out to purchase it just for this batch. I'm so impressed with the attention to detail and care the bakery showed me. It's such a relief to know you can give sweet treats to a child with multiple allergies and they won't have an awful allergic reaction. Also, get the chocolate cake cupcakes as they are SUPER moist!!! read more

This was the second time I hired Crazy Cakes to make a custom cake for a bar mitzvah. The cake was made to exact specifications, and looked and tasted incredible.
