It's a small, quaint little coffee shop with a great neighborhood feel. The staff knows us by name, and they even know my wife's usual order and often have the drinks ready for her when she comes in. It's little things like that that make this place feel special. Today we had hot vanilla lattes and they were excellent. We're also big fans of the breakfast tacos and avocado toast -- both are really good. After coming here so often, Blockhouse has definitely become "our" coffee shop. Great coffee, good food, and genuinely friendly people. We always enjoy coming back!

We ordered the condensed milk Vietnamese coffee and the brown sugar Vietnamese coffee. We waited for a little and one of the workers came and said "We're out of coffee".. okay. We chose other drinks, but the coffee items were more expensive, so we asked "isn't there a difference?". The worker said "No, it's same price" even though we can see there's literally a dollar difference. She then goes to ask the other worker "oh there's a difference in price" to no reply. Anyways, I probably won't comeback. I don't think you should either. If something is broken and you are getting a customer to pick a new item that is CHEAPER than the original item, you could at least offer something to add on (ex: boba, fries, SOMETHING). Don't waste your money, go to Feng Cha instead
