Mission: Host a luncheon event at L'Amour Du Cafe at the corner of University Blvd and Highway 6. That's easy. But I need to try the food here before I could recommend my guests what to order. So, I came here once during the week and once on weekend. I liked the service and food both times. My first order was Chapli Kabob with Naan and Electric Blue Lemonade for the drink. Then, I waited until Saturday to try the weekend-only dish, Chicken Biriyani and a cup of Doodh Patti (Pakistani milk tea). I Google searched all dishes before I came here. I have to be familiar with each dish and ingredient on the menu. Speaking of menu, I have to scan the QR code because there is no paper menu. I find it easier to read on a laptop and it's clearly organized. I personally like the Southeast Asian dishes. Because everything is Halal and no pork dishes, I could dine safely. Upon paying, I noticed a 15% service charge. I was told that's for the kitchen staff. Each menu item already priced to include the fee. It's just appeared on the bill that way. This is due to their evening catering and large parties. I don't mind because the prices were reasonable and affordable to me. That's why I always pay tips for the wait staff.

I was looking for a bougie girls place to go before a show. I loved the vibe in here, it was super cute. And super empty. We were the only ones there the whole time. They had two people working and we scanned the QR code for the menu. A mixed menu for the vibe in my opinion and the menu does not list any ingredients. We ordered a meat lovers pizza, and I had read it was a halal restaurant. The pizza had a form of pepperoni - lots of cheese and chunks of onion - and maybe something that could have been chicken. I think ingredients on the menu would have been a huge help. I am not sure what makes their drinks $8 assuming they are not alcoholic - but no ingredients were listed to upsell them. Just names like "mango mojito." A better menu and ingredients listed I would hope could bring in more business for them. Every case where you order was empty except for ice cream. Someone has put a LOT of love and style in here that is awesome.

This place is so beautiful, everything is super organized and clean. The staff is so friendly and always attentive if you need anything. The food is amazing and so are the beverages. I highly recommend this place for a get together or any event. The ambience is also very chic!

Dahi Puri - it was fresh, flavors were on point, and it was fulfilling. 8/10

I dropped in for an afternoon snack and was greeted to a very bright/heavily decorated restaurant. The food was tasty and fresh. The price was little on the high side for what I've seen at the surrounding areas. The staff was nice but it felt a little like a you figure it out yourself. The restaurant was pretty clean and modern. I would come back to try more items!

This place is a hidden gem , we're just passing from there and the beautiful flowers decor and nice ambience made us come inside , we ordered chai and lava cake , since it was past dinner time for us we couldn't order anything from their menu, but would be back to try out some of their menu items . Place looked clean and staff was attentive and sweet . Since I'm the first one to write a review abt this place I asked the management if they would like to share any pics . A must to try !!

First time to this restaurant and wow! The inside is beautiful and inviting. We were greeted promptly and scan the QR code for the menu. I was surprised at the wide variety of food offered at this restaurant. There is some thing for everyone regardless of what kind of food you are in the mood for. I was craving Mediterranean food so I had the chicken Shawarma. It had chunks of succulently seasoned meat, marinated vegetables, and scrumptious sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and plan to return soon!

I get it - it's right after the holidays so staffing could be short. The server we had wasn't exactly enthusiastic, just did the bare minimum. Dishes piled up and we weren't asked about refills. You'd figure because there was only 1 group that the service would be attentive, but nope! The food that we ordered from the kitchen were all super fresh and delicious. My favorites were the bulgogi gimbap, eggroll (tiny rolled egg omelette), and chicken wings! They come out super hot - loved them all. The hot buffet bar was not filled at all, some were even just empty. I found it disappointing that we didn't get to try a lot of their items. The hot buffet bar was really scarce, I mean, just fried dumplings and fries but they were refilled really slow and some never had refills. The boba bar was empty and never filled. The DIY ramen station was closed off. I tipped only because I felt like I had to, but the service was abysmal. I would come back but maybe for lunch instead of dinner. Hopefully service improves.

I walk in with a group of 5, ask for a gluten free menu, and the hostess happily got the menu and brought it with us to the table. Our server brought me GF soy sauce and told me he would make sure my food was safe even though it was on the GF menu. I got the calamari and Sugar Land sampler, and it was all great. The fish was fresh, the restaurant didn't have a concerning fishy smell, it was clean and nicely decorated with plenty of space for patrons so we weren't on top of each other. One of my guests ordered the wrong roll, and he was very patient and kind, and he talked through the different rolls to make sure the one she wanted was exactly what she was looking for. He made suggestions and took his time, and he treated her with respect and care. I was truly impressed! One could say that GF options are minimal, but for me, this menu had a little bit of everything for gluten allergies, and my server made me feel very safe eating there with my allergy. I will enthusiastically go back to Japaneiro any day, especially with this level of service!

I remember their generous portions and great variety of dishes served during that event. Since I was in the neighborhood during my dinner time in Sugarland, I decided to swing by before the restaurant closes for the night. I wanted to try Hawaiian Chicken that I saw the menu online. I was thinking about featuring it at my party. I was quite disappointed with the flavors. It's just like a sweet and sour chicken with chili sauce and tossed in pineapple chunks. But when I tried Manchuria Fried Rice... OMG, it was very flavorful and with a kick of spiciness. The savory ingredients were ginger, garlic, onion, cilantro and soy sauce. I almost finished a whole plate. I normally don't order fried rice at Chinese restaurants but this is a must try. The service was excellent. Considering being last few customers right before their closing time. I was grateful for their patience for me to finish my meal.

I ordered from the lunch menu and started with a cup of sweet corn soup with an entree of garlic chicken with fried rice for $14. The soup arrived first and it was delicious. I think that was my first time to try sweet corn soup and it was pleasurable (4). I wanted more of it. The entree arrived about 10 minutes later. The plate had the garlic chicken on it along with fried rice and an egg roll to boot. This entree was good tasting and I mixed the remaining garlic sauce with the rice to improve the rice taste as it was sort of bland to me. I liked this entree and rated it a 3. Our table service was very good. While I give a 3 score here, I would be happy to return to try another dish.

I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)

When you pickup your food, the sit down area is dark, and there isn't much of a waiting area. It looks to be run by two folks, the cook and the cashier. It is probably best to order over the app, as the one cashier is busy packing the food in the fancy packaging and dealing with the money transactions. Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.
