WOW! Best service ever. We walked in and were immediately met by Julianna and seated, she gave us free monkey shots and welcomed us. Kim stopped by and helped with our drink orders and both Kim and Julianna kept our drinks full at all times. Ryan even stopped by several times to check on us. They called us all by name the whole night (six of us). the food was fantastic, we had the nachos, burger, and philly cheese steak. The prices are friendly, almost as friendly as the staff! A friend recommended this place while we were here on vacation. The "old lady" who used to run marathons was wonderfully refreshing and full of information for Branson attractions. The bbq here is amazing, Y'all there is a smoker outside in the parking lot. The peanut butter whisky mixed with the coffee craft beer and kissed with a splash of half and half was amazing! Fun bar & they had great BBQ the day I was there! Ryan was an awesome bartender, we even ran into him the next day at another bar!. The music playing was a throwback to the 70's & 80's & had a motorcycle bar vibe to it. They allow smoking, which I've only seen in Vegas in the last decade. Good place to chill & eat. We used the Yelp deal, we had to go outside to get it to download, sketchy internet in that valley. I hope to visit again when there is live music playing! read more

I loved this bar!! My boyfriend and I went on vacation and we heard about this place and called ahead of time to make sure there wasn't a reservation. When we got there we were greeted by the male bartender who was super friendly!! The female waitresses were awesome as well. We had tacos that night which were full of flavor and delicious!! I'm sure this place is great. However the owner says all ages are welcome but minors have to leave at 10pm.. im 21, got there at 8pm and was turned away because I had no ID. They knew our names, they gave us a free shot when we walked through the door and made us feel at home. James even showed us how he marinated the pulled pork. Kim (the ex-mother in law..lol) rocked! I would DEFINITELY be a regular at this bar if they had a location in St. Louis. The drinks were a little weaker than I expected, but the flavors were amazing. There were so many signature drinks to choose from which was great. The wait staff was super friendly and they consistently checked in on us, which was much appreciated. Cheeky monkey is known for its smoked brisket and pulled pork. Kind of a dive bar restaurant off the strip. Local joint. No kids under 21 after 10pm. There's a pool table too. You can eat here for about $10'per person. The beef brisket is the best. read more

So we read all the reviews which is why we went here. Pulling up the BBQ pit smelled great, we were greeted with a free shot, and the staff checked on our table in the 2 hours we were there no less than 20 times...overkill but hey it's better than the opposite. Two of us got bottled beers, two got mixed drinks. One played keno. Drinks were standard. We also ordered for, pulled pork sandwich and beans, and pulled pork nachos. Beans were certainly Van Kamp or less, but out of a can. The pork was very tender but really tasted like it was cooked with liquid smoke and was not in any pit. The drinks and food are great! Very fun atmosphere. The man checking ID's outside told us it was 'Ethnic Night' which was a big red flag, but then the servers said it was 'International Night' but the DJ was just playing Pitbull so it all just felt too rural and socially insensitive. The servers were adorable and gave us a shot and all introduced themselves to us which was hilarious and fun until four different servers still couldn't figure out what was going on at our table and it took 20 minutes for them to take our order. Hands down amazing brisket AND pulled pork! Was there with my wife, though, and felt super uncomfortable even kissing her when we walked in and someone called her a man. First full day in Branson area, we stopped in for some beer, apps and football! This is a gem by any standards with a welcoming crew of family who instantly make you feel like a part of their family! We were given a sample shot of their choice mix of the day (we both liked it) but I ordered a Mother's IPA, Li'l Helper while my wife chose the bartender's choice and really enjoyed it! We opted for the brisket quesadilla as an appetizer, the meat was so good I quickly decided on a Brisket Sandwich, my wife picked the pulled pork quesadilla for our meal! The brisket Sandwich was as good as any sliced beef sandwich I have ever tasted!!! My wife really enjoyed the pork quesadilla as her mel as well! This place is a great local bar to check out. You feel so welcomed the second you enter the bar. Greeted with a shot and warm welcomes from everyone inside. We stopped in while visiting from KC. The DJ was playing a wide variety of music that we enjoyed. We tried out the Monkey Fuel cocktail it was very good. We had a few drinks and our tab was only around $20 bucks. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the smoking inside the bar was too much for me. I'm not a fan of smoking so after a few drinks we decided to head out. It's a great local pub, with really good appetizers and cold beer. The waitresses are friendly and funny, and everyone always has a good time there. The staff goes out of their way to remember your name and welcome you and remember your favorites. I was there several months back and there was a situation that had gotten out of hand pretty fast. A guy came in that was obviously drunk and tried to get a drink at the bar. The bartender (maybe the owner) refused to serve him, I think for two reasons, he couldn't talk, or walk, and he had a gun strapped on him. ( i know, I know, it's legal.... but give me a break here. who wants to sit by a pissed-off drunk guy packing heat? Not me) I was sitting at the bar and it was the first time I have ever been afraid in my life in a bar. The bartender looked at me, told me not to worry, that he would handle it, and he walked him outside... with a lot of opposition from the drunk guy, grabbed some help from a rather large staff member, and somehow got someone to call an uber. I just want to say thank you to this bartender-owner. This could have been a horrible situation, that was handled in the best way possible. Plus, the food and drinks are great! read more
