I was in San Andreas for work and decided to grab a bite before leaving town. Quick yelp search and Crazy Eddie's Panini Grill came up. I went over and I was greeted by two of the most friendly humans I have ever encountered. They made recommendations on what their popular items where and I went forward with a Honky Tonk burger and the 49 sandwhich. WOW the food was delicious it had that home cooked style and flavor to it. Meat flavored and cooked to perfection, the onion rings gave it a perfect crunch. Maybe the best burger I have ever had. The 49er had pastrami, tri tip and turkey. The bread was baked to perfection nice and soft all the meats where very flavorful and tender. One of the best sandwiches I have had. The ownership the small town feel and the absolutely delicious food make this place a must stop when you are in the area. read more

So glad to finally be able to try Crazy Eddie's. We arrived just after the restaurant opened. The owners were immediately welcoming- we felt like we were visiting old friends. We each ordered a burger and shared an order of fries and a specialty hot dog. Both burgers were outstanding. Awesome fresh buns, delicious perfectly cooked burgers with fresh toppings. My husband tried the pastrami on his burger and loved it. The housemade tri tip was excellent on the hotdog we split. Fries were perfect- crispy with a soft interior. We tried the Bourbon peach dipping sauce- excellent. Just as we finished and thought it couldn't get any better we were brought samples of homemade fudge. We will definitely be back. A friend took me here for lunch. They you overheard me explaining that there was nothing on the menu that I could eat. Quickly, they offered to make me a vegetarian sandwich. Stopped here today on our way home from angels camp.. We were starving, so like I always do I went to Yelp for some advice on a great local spot. This place is legit! Showed up about 90 min before closing and the place was empty. That usually tells me that it's not great but I was wrong today!! From the moment I walked in with my two kids we had a great experience! Eric and his wife are super friendly and accommodating! We had two huge burgers and an "awesome" (says my 7year old hot dog con·nois·seur daughter) hot dog! She even showed Eric her happy dance after eating to show him how much she liked it!! Hahaha! Just so happens that it was national fudge day and as it turns out, Eric's wife (can't remember her name) makes INSANE award winning fudge (among other desserts)! So they gave us a couple pieces for dessert! Thoroughly enjoyed those as well... I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! They really do know what they're doing with food! The cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger we had were awesome--juicy and tender, and they came with SUPER FRESH lettuce, tomatoes and sliced red onion. The lettuce and onion were unbelievably crispy, they were so fresh! The kids and I gave these a solid 5 stars. Husband had a spicy turkey panini and went with two medium-spicy sauces on the chef's recommendation, but although he liked the sauces he felt they overpowered the rest of the sandwich components, 4 stars from him. We were given free fudge samples, homemade by the wife/owner. Though I'm normally not a fudge fan because the sweetness usually overpowers the chocolatey-ness, I thought the Butterfinger fudge was DELICIOUS (I don't like Butterfinger bars either but it really added some nice texture and went well with the fudge). The only criticism is that the day we went it was rainy outside and inside it was FREEZING and the ceiling fans were all blowing! I kept my jacket and hat on but it would've been nicer to have heat. Went to the area for a work trip and we lucked out eating at this place on the last day. It was delicious, quick and the owner was extremely friendly. Great little home town sandwich spot. They have a great selection with good variety. Their paninis are my favorite. They don't seem to mind making it just the way you want it. Only cons are that sometimes it's a long wait, they are closed on Sunday's and that meat is more on the raw side, but hey that's how most country folk like it! Such a lovely surprise. This establishment provides old fashioned hospitality and great food. You can't go wrong stopping at this lovely deli. They are greatly concerned that their customers are satisfied with their choices. There were many regulars and and when they found out I don't eat meat they created a lovely veggie sandwich with grilled veggies, artichoke, avocado and the works. My daughter loved her hot dog and fries. They are also super dog friendly and will take care of you and your pup with great caring and respect. Crazy Eddie's is one of the best things in San Andreas, and to be honest perhaps all of California. It's run by Eddie and his lovely wife (Benita I believe her name is and by the way she makes the best fudge I have ever eaten in my life! Ask her for what flavors she has available when you visit) and those two are a huge part of why the experience is always Five Star. Eddie, a former chef and wine maker, knows flavors and that's what Eddie's is all about. He makes everything he can from scratch, from the BBQ to the jalapeño aioli, and you can taste his perfectionism in every bite. The tritip dip sandwich is hard to go past but my husband preferred his carnivore's delight. I have my eyes set on the Rubin for my next visit and Eddie recently told me that he's about to launch the winter menu which includes a meatball sub! I can not recommend this place highly enough. Super yummy food & absolutely fantastic service. This week we experienced a long line but Eddie the owner kept it moving super fast, I was impressed as we didn't have to wait long at all. Even though he was swamped he was super patient and gave me advice on what to order- I have a dairy allergy so I unfortunately have to ask questions re sauces etc. My husband got a sandwich that was loaded with different meats, and he couldn't stop saying "mmmm" as he ate! He clearly LOVED it! My burger was huge and delicious with yummy fries and dipping sauces. As soon as the line died down Eddie made a point to check on everyone to make sure all was good. A must have! Yelps Map places them just a little off from their location but look for the red building and the BBQ flags out front. Five stars says everything about this place. I was feeling like a good old spicy sandwich and their Italian cold sandwich with the OMG hot sauce was exactly what I was looking for. One of the best bacon and cheese burgers I've ever had. And I've had a lot! Google maps has the wrong location. Crazy Eddie's is next door to NAPA Auto Parts and across the street from Subway. We were not expecting anything special when we happened on Eddie's after a bike trip to San Andreas. We discovered that he does hot dogs and burgers to perfection and offers a huge variety: 15 different burgers and 17 different hot dogs, including dogs served with tri-tip or pastrami, among many other things. A large variety of burgers includes The Porter House:: a 1/3 lb patty with a 1/4 lb dog, avocado and all the fixings between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Our large group was passing through town and I stumbled upon Crazy Eddie's here on Yelp. We were trying to accommodate 14 people for lunch and Crazy Eddies did not disappoint. There was something for everyone on the menu. On top of that, everyone's sandwich, burger and more were top notch. Many of us raved at how it was the tastiest sandwich/burger we have ever had. They were about to close their place for their lunch time hour, but when we walked in 15 mins to closing, Eddie invited us all in to sit down in his open seating area and that there was no hurry. We pulled him over to compliment everything and it flourished into a great connection! He was such a down to earth guy and we shared our love for not only food, but dogs and beer. We ended things with their amazingly award winning fudge and yet again, people in our group raved about it being the best fudge they have ever tasted. This small, cozy sandwich place was a perfect lunch spot. The sanwiches were great; crispy and tasty with a nice selection of fresh vegetables. But the real difference here are the people: they are super friendly and kind. While we were there they spared no trouble to help out a local older man who was lost and confused.
