It's always fun to visit here as you'll find all kinds of things for around your home. Prices can be fantastic or average so keep your eyes out. They have a rewards/membership program though I don't know if I've ever gotten any sort of discount. I'm particularly pleased that they've expanded their hours a bit more. During the pandemic, they started closing every day at PM. That didn't leave much time for shopping after dinner. They finally extended hours back to closing at 8PM. That's a little better. You'll find clothing very cheap and it is what it is. The quality isn't always bad. Thermals and flannels are hardy and last a while. T-shirts, maybe not so much. But for the prices, I think you'll be pleased. Seasonal items for the garden, the pool, around the yard, holiday decorations, you'll find all of that in here. Pure maple syrup is another hot item here. Watch for the sales when it's really cheap. They also have pet supplies and plenty of other home goods. It's overall a fun store!

Shopping here is not a bad experience, if you avoid using their toilet, and ignore the sorry state of hygiene in their fitting room. I sometimes visit this location and its affiliate shops nearby (Sierra Trading Post, Homegoods, T. J. Maxx, etc.) to check out their shelves of beauty and hair products. It's a hit or miss type of browsing. Sometimes one can find reputable and organic brands at a hugely discount price, including products from New Zealand, Australia and South Korea. However little 9 year old princess convinced her brother and myself that this store was the place... We relented to her. Alas I havent been in that area much, but I do know that Spring Valley had an itsy bitsy AS. Not anymore people! Apparently they are in place of the huge PathMark that used to be there. Although the "local"s are nosy and pushy (sorry, i speak the truth) the kids heaped up gifts that were really smart and fun. My little princess had to have her "maybe" pile and the little guy was pensive adding numbers and choosing wisely. It did take a while, but I'll tell ya - what a huge selection. We walked out with so much stuff, from make your own jewelry box, hello kitty teddy that opened to a blanket, basketball, school lunch bag with a cool key chain, pens, lip gloss that I am highly considering next years budget to be $10.... BUT today, I was treated like crap. The white lady employee with the longer blonde/gray hair, what a disrespectful and nasty cow. Not only to me but to a sweet old lady. The tone and the words used, unnecessary. There is a way to speak to people, not only on your private life, but WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC! And when I said, please don't speak to me like that, she WENT OFF. I wasnt able to catch her name as she had it hidden. The first time she nastily TOLD me something, I answered, I'm not leaning on the display, I'm looking past it. "I SAW YOU AND YOURE DOING IT AGAIN!" I was holding it so I wouldn't knock it over. I just walked away. After a bit I came back around to the aisle as I needed something in it, she went apeshit. I replied, I take responsibility for myslef of I slip on the damp floor, I need something and I'm leaving. She just. Would. Not. Stop. And then that's when I matched energy. What employee acts like that? And interacts with customers so aggressively. And yes, I calle d her óut on her behaviour. How dare you take that tone with a customer. She also over theatrically "acted" out what I supposedly did to her manager? Co worker? Who did NOTHING to deescalate her behaviour. If and when you go into this particular Dollar Tree, and she's working, just leave. Side note, I never write bad reviews unless they are 100% warranted. And because of this, I have to give 2 stars because my cashier, Kyla, was a pleasure.
