Excellent business! Giovanni and Vito give you the price upfront and that's what they charge you. Everything is done correctly. The wait time is always manageable. They are pleasant people themselves. We have a Lexus and a Mercedes and yet they never tried to overcharge us. My experience in Staten Island has been that the small businesses here always try to scam you. The landscape guy, spraying against wasps, the house builder always try to rip you off. Giovanni is Vito's son and he runs the Staten Island shop. The original Vito's is in Brooklyn. This alone tells you the have been successful and the Staten Island location is second generation, i.e. experienced. Foreign cars are a specialty here and I have an old one that has made more than a few visits. Giovanni always uses OEM parts and his shop has the latest in technology equipment. Labor rates are standard and the service is speedy. Most importantly the diagnosis is never inflated. His findings are usually less severe (expensive) than my own prediction. This is also a great place to buy tires. His tire balancing and wheel alignment process totally rejuvenates the cars ride. Brought my 2017 truck in for an alignment, and being that it's lifted with bigger wheels and tires, I was told that the alignment wouldn't come with ANY warranty. At first that wasn't a problem, until the technician "finished" my alignment and only adjusted 1 out of the 2 types of alignment on my truck and when I asked about why the steering wheel wasn't straight, he gave me some bullsh*t excuse that I could leave the truck with them and they'll work on It some more but it's going to cost me more money (even more than the $90 he was already charging me for an alignment, which is a scam itself), so instead of doing It right the first time, they tried to scam me by doing it wrong from the beginning and trying to blame It on my basically brand new truck. read more

Typically I dread bringing my car in to a repair shop because the way you can easily be ripped off but this place was straight to the point and I was out of there quick. Brought my lowered 2015 VW GTI in for alignment after hitting a pothole on 5/13/16. Was told no problem they can handle lowered cars. My camber was off on one side by 1 degree. I have dealership and alignment expierience. Giovanni tried to sell me some B.S. that my caster being slightly off is the reason that my car was returned to me with the steering wheel in the 11oclock position in order to drive straight. After complaining I was told to come back Monday. I returned today (Monday) at the same time I did on Friday and now I'm being told I am too late and I will have to come back. I was told there was alignments ahead of me. Well I was ahead of these people on Friday when this alignment should of been done correctly. They clearly don't know what they are doing. Clearly don't care about their customers if they send me away when I was told to come in. They also got caught in a lie not knowing I have mechanical experience. read more
