I tried Crazy Taco Mex at the Milford Food Truck Festival and I ordered the Birria Tacos. In my opinion, the Tacos were on the bland side. I was missing the deep flavors in the meat. I like my Birria Tacos crispy and cooked on a hot top with the Consomé. All in all, it was an okay Taco but I don't think I would travel to the restaurant to buy Tacos. read more

Hired for my son's engagement party. They showed up on time and ready to go! Prior to the date, communications with Andrea were quick and efficient. They offered a few different packages and we chose Tacos and Quesadillas with a choice of 7 different meats (including fish). Food was delicious, esp the shrimp tacos. Portion sizes weren't overwhelming thus giving people an opportunity to go back and order more. Would recommend and will definitely hire again if the opportunity arises. read more

We rented Crazy Taco Mex Food Truck for our daughters first birthday party and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was raving about it for days following the party. The service was wonderful and it completely elevated our party to a new level. The brisket tacos and the quesadillas were my favorite but everyone raved about the carnitas tacos as well. Hired for a graduation party. The food was delicious and the main guy cooking was lovely . Unfortunately there were so many other things that went wrong. They were to be at our home at 7:30., but did not arrive until 8:30 pm . I had ordered the full menu option, they could only provide a scaled down menu because they ran out of some of the food products from prior events. It was to be unlimited for 1 1/2 hrs , but limited individual orders to 2 servings of 1 item. Included was chips & guac & rice & beans as sides. Not provided I provided plates and napkins to use for serving to go with the party colors , they used their serving containers, which is fine but took all the items we provided . We had a terrible experience with the Taco Mex food truck at Pinckney Park in Rowayton on 8.28.22. My steak tacos were served cold and only had 25% of the filing that the flour tortilla could hold. Worse of all my wife and a friend of ours ordered shrimp tostadas/sandwich where the shrimp were not properly cooked - most of them were half raw if not entirely and could have caused significant stomach issues if eaten. To their credit they immediately replaced the food, which other bad tacos, when advised of the subpar product they were selling. Nonetheless it doesn't make up for the bad experience - I don't recommend that anyone eat their food. read more

Hands down the best Mexican food in the area!! The owner is incredibly nice, it's a must go place before (or after) drinking. I got the carne Asada chimichanga and it was DELISH. My dad got the fajitas and we both agreed the quality of the food was incredible. You also HAVE to get the guacamole, best guacamole I've ever had in my whole life. Would definitely recommend. (1/16/2018) Got UberEats to deliver for lunch. We passed the app around the office and it all came as ordered and exactly at the time stated. Everything was packaged carefully to travel, but somethings did better than others. I probably chose poorly. The Nacho Macho sounded better than it was upon delivery, it had cooled and the cheese congealed and the chips a touch soggy, yes, poor choice on my part. The black beans and BBQ brisket were well-seasoned though. The condiment cups were really, really small. Probably we could've used a twice as many, and someone stole my jalapenos, so the zip I was looking for was missing from my nachos (but not their fault). The Taco Salads seemed to be the hit of the day, as were the empanadas, both beef and chicken. The fillings were moist and flavorful and the sweet-salty masa crust held up very well to travel, were even still hot and crispy when we got them. Soft Tacos, also did well, the steak was seared nicely, touch chewy, much better after we discovered the salsa verde. Looking forward to a truck stop, or a visit to the brick and mortar. read more

This new spot is a hidden gem but won't be for long! Great place for a quick bite or a nice sit down with friends and family. The environment is fun and colorful - everything you could want in an authentic tex mex establishment. The food was delicious and the sangria was to die for. Stopped into the Atlantic Street storefront after work, around 10 o'clock. Ordered two chicken tacos and two carnitas tacos. The chicken was really, really good and the toppings were fresh. The carnitas was also flavorful and had a really nice "low and slow cooked" texture. It was a bit salty, but still, pretty good. I am a bit of a food and beverage geek, and I am in the biz for over 30 years, so my standards are kind of high, but this was a very good product. The guacamole was also very good, although I think $3 is a steep upcharge for it, especially considering that a pair of tacos is only $7, but hey, I get it. I will definitely go back. read more

The truck could use a snappier paint job, but the food is delicious. Had the carne asada buritto - yellow rice, black beans, melted cheese, Asiago sauce and of course the carne. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The sauce was not spicy (as in hot) but had a really tasty kick to it - seemed to be sour cream based. And cheap! $7 for lunch. Love it. read more
