The food and service are exceptional! The portions are substantial and the drinks are amazing! The only thing for us was that my spouse requested no cashews in his order but they added it in anyways, he's not allergic just preferred it not have it in there. My first visit here and I arrived on Wednesday at about 6:45 PM. There was only a few tables with people but after I was seated people continue to file in. The service here is outstanding. The staff is very polite and checked at the table multiple times to refill my water and make sure if there's anything else that I might need. I love that. I always try Pho when it is offered. When I entered into the restaurant, they had a sign that said they were now serving it so it's apparently been added to the menu. They bring you a separate menu of the different Pho. I chose rare steak and brisket. There was another option to add meatballs in. Next time when I return and I definitely will be returning I will choose the option of brisket as my meat Choice. It had lots of flavor like it had been roasted and really added to the overall flavor, palette of the soup. The veggie plate that came with it was extremely fresh and there was plenty of it. They brought hoisin sauce and Sriracha sauce to the table. I asked for chili oil cause I like my dishes a little spicy. I also wanted to try the Hawaiian chicken that came with fresh pineapple and broccoli. The Hawaiian chicken had a very light sauce on it and everything about it was Really tasty. The portion sizes are big enough to share. I had to take my Hawaiian chicken home. Everything about this restaurant was a pleasant experience. The restrooms were clean. The floors were clean. They have big cozy booths. That would be great for a date night and they do serve alcohol here they had beer on the menu. I will definitely be returning and I think this would be a great option as they are open seven days a week a lot of the competing Vietnamese and Thai food in the area are closed at different days during the week so this would be my go to spot in the future, especially if I wanted Pho. They did not have chicken Pho (Pho Ga) unfortunately. But there are many other chicken options on the menu. They do have Asian fried chicken, which is very popular internationally. I have not tried it yet here at this place but when I return, I will be sure to try for sure. read more

CRAZY THAI + CLUCK - BOBA ... New to me, and maybe others reading this. At least the Crazy Thai name is new to me. Located on 3409 McNeil Ave, across from Whataburger and in front of Harbor Freight. I happened upon the name change/addition while passing by at lunch time the other day, and this caused me to stop. I love Thai Food and here we are walking in the door. Ambiance is cool walking in the door. It's a dark motif now compared to the bright white of the former Grandy's location. Was immediately greeted by the manager, Bayu (By-You), a kind and courteous man with a huge smile. Was given a choice of where to sit, I opted for a booth knowing I'd be taking a lot of pictures. There were plenty of tables for a large crowd. The menu has a lot of traditional choices. I chose a couple of my favorite appetizers, the Gyoza (pan fried) and Spring Rolls. They were both delicious, each with their own dipping sauce to highlight the flavors, and they did. For the entrées, we went with a couple of my favorites. The 'Thai Entree' is a stir fry style. Pick your protein and pick your sauce, we went with the Beef Thai Basil and white rice, accompanied by a bowl of Onion Soup. It was so freaking delicious! You can't go wrong with any of their 'Thai Entree' options, they all look good. The other meal was found under 'Thai Noodles' where I found my favorite dish Pad See Ew. I opted for a beef/chicken combo and shot down the salad. OMG! It was so damn good, I haven't found the dish available locally for about five years and this one was spot on. Whatever you order, you shouldn't be disappointed, as Thai restaurants are always very large in portions. You definitely get all your money's worth on this meal. Our server was a very nice young lady named Sam. Tell Bayu or Sam, Michael said "Hi!", when you visit. The other options I forgot to grab a menu for is the Cluck- Boba side of the house. Milk tea was very good. I enjoyed the pad woon sen with added chicken. I wish there was a few more pieces of chicken. Hubby had the General Tso chicken. It was fried a little bit too long. Not the best. The decor leaves a lot to be desired. Wish there were cushions on the chairs and a few more pictures on the wall. Not a bad place, just not somewhere I would frequent. read more

The sesame chicken was good but I'm not sure I'd call it "homemade" it was very Panda Express esque which is fine. The popcorn chicken and chicken tenders are soooo good, as are the fries. Make sure to try the sauces and different flavors. I've never stepped inside, so am unsure of the ambiance, but the drive through process is always quick and the server friendly and patient. My sister recommended this place after she had gone. So my daughter and I went during lunch. They have a drive thru which is convenient for pickup orders. We went inside however. It's a pretty big place. Plenty of seating and the workers were all welcoming and friendly. Automatic win for us when we see such attentive staff. :) my daughter ordered the Hawaiian bowl but heads up, it usually has pineapple and veggies. But she's a plain person so she ordered without any. The bowl with veggies looked really good as well. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Did WF need another fried chicken place? No. But here's why it's maybe the only one worth going to. 1. Best value: the prices seem steep until you see the portion sizes. I could easily split a kids meal with a child, these tenders are enormous. 2. The chicken: it's way less breaded, has more actual chicken. Really enjoyed this. 3. Dips: fantastic. Must try the rubs next time. The mango habanero is my favorite, and yes, it is actually hot. Many of the others are mayo based. 4. Hawaiian bowls: this is some excellent food, the veggies are perfectly cooked and fresh not frozen. Amazing rice. Huge portions. 5. The sweet potato fries! 6. The boba is totally customizable and very good. 7. Robots bring your order to you: robots. I took off a star for ambience, though. Listen, this is an Asian fusion lunch place. I fully expected a brightly colored, well-lit, Panera style vibe happening. White and yellow paint and some silly chickens on the wall. Instead, it was extremely dark, the windows don't let in much light. The walls are very dark. The tacky random beer florescent signs? I don't think they even serve beer? And I don't prefer TVs in restaurants, enough with the screens. You can't hear it anyway, why do we need random anime and ghost hunting shows on a screen? Also the music was *extremely* loud. They turned it down when I asked, so that was appreciated. So the vibe is local bar hangout, not after church brunch like I wanted. Feels like a missed opportunity here. I was happily surprised to find this Thai food restaurant recently in WF! I went for dinner last night and had the salmon curry. It was really delicious, authentic and homemade, and a very generous plateful. I had the salad with it, and the dressing is crazy good! I also had the onion soup, also savory and satisfying. I ordered chicken pad see ew to go, to have lunch today, and it was fantastic as well. I really appreciate the wide rice noodles that are cut from the rice noodle sheets -- yum! And the flavor of this dish hit the spot today. I didn't catch my server's name, but he was very attentive and gave excellent service. Delicious food! Our server Sonia was very nice and attentive! Crab rangoons appetizer to start came out quickly. Perfectly crispy with generous filling. Weren't too greasy at all which I appreciated. Chicken lo mein was very flavorful. I chose spice level 2/5. It had a small kick to me but would go up to a 3 next time for more spice. Husband got the Thai Pepper steak with steamed rice, spice level 3/5. Steak was very tender and the steamed rice soaked up the delicious sauce perfectly. He loves spice and said he could've gotten up to a 4 or 5. Food came out quickly. They have booths and tables you can seat yourself if you're dining in. We'll be back! :) read more

We took the family here for dinner because our daughter wanted boba with dinner. My daughter and son had chicken tenders. My oldest had drumsticks while my husband and I rice bowls. The chicken was tender and delicious. The rice bowls were amazing! The broccoli and pineapple had a drizzle of yum yum sauce added. Once it was mixed with the shrimp and white rice, it was one of the best rice bowls I have ever had! The service was quick and friendly (even with my kids trying to run around). My biggest question is, why is this place not busier? I looked to see if others were as impressed as me and I'm surprised no one else has left a review yet. We already have plans to come back. The chicken tenders were freshly prepared, however when I got them home and bit into them they were raw. 2 out of 6 were not fully cooked and maybe it was a bad day or the cooks were untrained. We ordered from Crazy Thai, which is adjoined but doesn't have a google maps location yet. I live in Houston, but this is by FAR the best Thai I have ever had. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken on spice level 4 and it was phenomenal. Service was quick and server was very attentive. Had nice jazz playing in the background which was nice. The chicken strips were really good, they had a nice crispy crust that didn't just completely fall off the chicken. Also, 6 big pieces of chicken that were freshly cooked and weren't burnt with a medium to light crust was perfect for only $10. Will definitely be going back and next time we will get the 10 piece for $16, the chicken was big enough to share a 10 piece. With the fries they were crispy, I'm always having to add ketchup or gravy, but these had a good flavor to them. The sauces were good, we tried 4 different flavors and warning the yum yum sauce is a little sweet, but overall they were all good. Also we loved the mangonada and strawberrynada with boba! And the service was great, the guy came right up to the counter once he saw we were headed to ask for more sauces, very nice!
