I like the whole seating yourself idea, walk in, seat yourself someone serves you. Pretty good idea, the service is awesome. Our waitress was great, tentative and knew everything you needed to know about the menu and beer menu. We started off with the guacamole and chips, the guacamole had zero taste to it, legit tasted like cardboard. I ordered the mojo pork tacos, very small tacos so I can see why they do $3 taco Tuesday. The tacos were decent at best, very bland tasting taco shell and just so small to really taste anything in the tacos. My mother was not a huge fan of her tacos as well. My other brother ordered a burger, he said it was a good burger, just not cooked the way he asked. The beer was great the two I had were actually awesome and I usually hate any IPA or out of the ordinary beer. This isn't a place to write home about and brag to your friends. I would come back and try something else but no rush to come back and eat here. read more

Went to Crazy Uncle Mike's for one of my first ventures out in some time and it sure delivered. This place is almost certainly packed pre-COVID but I was thankful on a weeknight that I could get some space outdoors with some distance from other patrons. For outside space, this brewery has both covered but outdoor seating along one side and another tent setup up front (I'm guessing but there were probably 30+ tables between both outdoor sections). Outdoor seating is apparently rare for breweries in Boca but plenty here. The guy working the door and the server were super friendly and attentive (all properly wore masks as well). Pretty cool place, decor, and lights with plenty of parking. Got three different beers (red, wheat, and oatmeal stout) and all were quite good (also $5 a pint during happy hour). Fish tacos were great as well. Strongly recommend it, especially if you are looking for some outdoor space to enjoy some drinks during COVID. read more

I went to this place this past weekend for the first time with my family for brunch on Sunday and we had such a great time. Erick the manager and our waitress Kristen ( I think was her name ) were both very nice and attentive. The food was great especially the bacon croquettes. I'm moving to Boca for school so i've really been enjoying checking out all the new restaurants in and around the area. This one actually happened to be a happy accident for my family and I. The atmosphere and service is so chill. There was live music as we ate as well. Our server was super cool and very patient as we wanted to wait to order our entrees. We started with yucca fries. They were piping hot and cape with a mild dipping sauce! It was so delicious and pretty filling for an appetizer. All of our entrees came out fast as well. Very tasty tacos and the cobia fish in them was a very generous amount. I would love to come back here and try a few more things on the menu!! read more

After a bumpy start this dinner turned into a greate experience. This place was totally overwhelmed. We had to wait for a table for a long time and it took a waiter forever to finally take our order. However, with his attitude and humor he turned it all around. It's amazing what one person can do. You MUST get the bacon croquettes. They are by far one of the best things on the menu which is even hard to say since the food is always spectacular. If you are looking for a good place where the staff treat you like family. This is the place to go. There is always some sort of live music and the beer is constancy changing. read more

We came here last night, on thanksgiving day, for a quick bite and drinks, as soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by Mike, the owner, very friendly welcome, we then sat at the bar where the bartender asked for both of our names and introduced himself, Chris, very personal and friendly service, loved that! The place looks very cute, they had live music which I always appreciate, we started with a beer flight, and an appetizer, then a couple more beers, I liked the appetizer it was the purple tomato skins with bacon, pretty tasty, but maybe a little too small. Overall I liked the place very much, is right by our house and so I am happy to have a place like this walking distance from home, I plan on visiting them again! read more

Pretty relaxed place. Craft beers on tap. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Had an IPA and I'm guessing the owner gave me a free saison. Don't know if the food is good, but the menu looked good. Happy hour daily from ?-7pm. Wish they had some domestic beers, craft beers can be a little dangerous after a few. I'll definitely go back. We're from out of town and we weren't sure how kid-friendly this was place was. We went in during Happy Hour time and everyone was super nice and accommodating with the kids. They had live music playing, the drinks were great, the kids loved the pizza, and we all had a good time. We had a table inside, but they also have a great outdoor area with outside games like giant Connect four. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

We popped into Crazy Uncle Mikes to get our reggae fix for our trip to Boca Raton. We ordered two dishes, I would call this elevated bar fare. I had the flank steak, it was good, the veggies were great! I think if you come here for the music, and a great bar, you will be pleased with the food; if you come for just the food, then the experience is "Fine". Chef Tara get it done! What an amazing lunch we had. The bartenders were very courteous and once you told them your name they did not forget it. The Burger is absolutely amazing and please don't get it cooked more than medium rare. Also, bacon croquettes!!! These croquettes are not frozen or taste like they've been under a heat lamp for 2 days like Versalles.
