Guy walked into my house asked where is the washer. I opened the laundry room door. He opened the lid of the washing machine and spun the drum, which btw spun freely, and said I have to condemn this machine. He took out his phone and took a picture of the model number and serial number closed the lid and left. Never turned it on, ask me what it was doing. Nothing. If you've got the Consumers Energy Appliance Plan, which was sold to Oncourse Home Solutions in 2024, and you're in or around Flint, REFUSE any service from CRC Appliance. Much like other reviewers, my experience rates ZERO stars. I received a brusque call from the technician, whose name I believe is Gavin, who said he was finishing up at his previous job and would be on his way shortly. After an hour, I called but didn't get an answer, so I texted. No response. At hour two, I called again, this time connecting with him. I asked where he was. He said, "I was there and talked to the guy." I said I was home alone. He said, "He even said your name." I asked where he went. He gave me the address of another home I own. I told him he had gone to the wrong address. He said, "I go where they send me" before telling me he wouldn't be coming to fix the refridgerator, which has been out for (now) more than six days. Oncourse, which is as equally terrible, "apoligized" and then tried to sell me additional services, all while telling me 1.) I wouldn't be credited for this month and 2.) they couldn't send someone out for an additonal 48 hours. When Consumers ran its own appliance service plan, it was far, far better than Oncourse, which I'm dropping as soon as I review other service plans. I will NEVER use or recommend CRC Appliance. read more

Never call these jokers. Sent 2 guys to work on my refrigerator. One spent the whole time outside smoking. I asked the guy working on the refrigerator where he got his training. He said he rode with another guy for a few days. That's it!! They charged me hours for both "technicians." They installed a used ice maker that never worked after they left. They never got the refrigerator working. I had to replace it. I called the State of Michigan Consumer Division, and Sears,and finally got a new unit. Too bad you can't give them a negative 5 star review. read more

CRC get ZERO stars from me!!! i purchased a washer from them for $260 with a 45 day warranty, and i called at 30 days to ask for a repair or return because the washer was staining my clothes from not rinsing the detergent out properly. The sales girls said the owner probably wouldn't do anything for me just because I'm not happy with how the washer washes my clothes, but took my name and number for the owner to call me back, which never happened. So i went in to the store and was told the same thing again and the owner has never called me !!! Very poor customer service and a fake warranty not worth the receipt it was written on!!! read more

I just bought a stove from this place. They don't deliver so I had to arrange for someone to come pick it up and deliver it to me. Get it home and it doesn't work. I did get a warranty on it so I called and they sent out a repair man. He said there was something that was broke inside that couldn't be replaced. They intentionally sold me a broken oven. Seriously???? I tried to get them to work with me on getting a different one but they refused to work with me. They had nothing comparable to what I had bought and wouldn't give me a different one for more expensive at the same price. They would go up by maybe $20??? It costs me more than that for all this back and forth with a broken oven!! I think that's just bad business after you sell me a bad stove now I have to figure out how to get it back to them to get my money back and find another one. They do not care that I had to try and find someone to help load and unload or that i had to find a truck either. Just bad business. Take some responsibility for your crappy product. Take your business elsewhere. These people are shady! Trust me. read more

Great service from them. Service tech called when he was 15 minutes away and was at our house when he said he would be. He was very professional and explained the problem. Had the parts in the truck to fix appliance and was done in half an hour. Brian did a great job. Very happy with CRC Appliance, Brian the service tech, and the service we received. read more

Beware!!!! I called to have my refrigerator fixed. They had to order a part and told me it would be installed the next day. They never showed up. I had to reschedule for the following day. Again, didn't show up. This is my only refrigerator so I lost everything in it. I had many phone calls to the owner and he never called me back. I tried to stop my check at the bank and the owner had already cashed the check. It was finally installed three days later and it only took 10 minutes to install. I was told there would be a discount for their mistake, but that's not looking good since the owner won't call me back. Horrible customer service!!! Please go elsewhere!! read more

I bought a dryer from this place I had it two days and only dryer 3 loads and the dryer broke down. I called and scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out to look at my dryer which the technician never showed up by the scheduled time. So I had to reschedule for the next day. Come to find out he could not fix the dryer, we had to take it back. They then wanted to give me a different dryer that had blue stains all over inside it and a lot of rust on the outside. We the demand our money back for the dryer which they tried to give us a hard time about. Eventually they gave us the money back for the dryer. I highly refuse to ever do business with this company again. And I would not recommend them to anyone I know or don't know. read more
