Best ice cream shop in Fresno!!! There was nothing I didn't like about this experience. First, the owner and his son were so friendly and made relatable conversations with anyone present. It's a family spot and you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Mind you, this is an ice cream shop, so this is already above and beyond. Then the ice creams... chef's kiss 10/10 incredible! The texture was creamy, the mix-ins were perfect and the flavors were addicting. I got to try different flavors and each one was amazing. The Cookie Monster had cookie dough and Oreos in it. The sea salted caramel truffle had caramel and pieces of chocolate with filling. The cup of Joe had the perfect flavor of coffee. I can go on and on. The inside looked comfortable and the tables and floors looked fancy and clean. They have so many options for treats. They have flavored milk (like banana) to make milkshakes with which are local from Hanford. You can also pick an ice cream flavor and have it be an ice cream sandwich with your choice of cookie or brownie. They of course have cones and toppings as well. Overall, this experience was a genuine delight. Highly recommend, especially in hot weather Fresno!

Great selection of interesting flavors and super nice people running the place. There are tables inside and out to sit on. Go check it out.

If you googled ice cream shops you might find several, but Cream stands out. This shop not only offers many hand crafted ice cream flavors but I encountered some great customer service as well. The owner and his son were friendly and helpful. They enthusiastically talked about the variety of flavors they offer..Biscotti, Cookie Monster, cup o' Joe were just a few that I tried. You can either stay inside or sit outside to enjoy your ice cream. I chose Cookie Monster and Cup o' Joe this time. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors.

CREAM location #2 Grand Opening today June 12, 2026!!! Located on Bullard and West, where G's Creamery once was. Ok so I'm a bit embarrassed to say I haven't visited their 1st location in 10years (perhaps since their Grand Opening) my experience back then wasn't so memorable and there just wasn't much of a "wow" factor that made me want to revisit. Currently under new management since Sept 2024. The new owners for both location, Amanda and G are simply amazing, to say the least! They are so welcoming with their bright smiles, positive and upbeat personalities. You can tell they love and are so passionate about what they do and really cater to their customers both adults and children! I love that they are also family oriented, they created a space with children/littles in mind to be able to have an open, safe space for children to run around and enjoy their sweet treats. They offer ice cream sandwiches, hot fudge sundaes, milkshakes, floats, tacos, kid specials, brownies and it goes on. They are also open to any creation you'd like them to make! 22 flavors of endless possibilities! Amanda and G answered all my questions and offered me so many samples. I'm sure they would have happily allowed me to sample it all if I asked lol. I ordered a kids cookie sundae for my daughter by G's recommendation comes with one scoop, a cookie and sprinkles. My 2 yo had an ice cream sandwich and I ordered an Oreo Overload. Which lives up to its name!!! The brownie was soft and warm and it was loaded with oreos, the ice cream was so creamy and delicious! My kids devoured theirs and were trying to eat my ice cream it was so good! I also ended up taking a pint to-go half cheesecake and by recommendation Cup Of Joe! Ok so if you're a coffee lover like me. You NEEED to try Cup of Joe, it tastes like a morning cup of fresh coffee that will make your day and put a smile on your face!! This location is clean and offers both indoor and outdoor dining. If you haven't tried them before you need to! The service is superb and the ice cream is delicious! Thank you Amanda and G for going above and beyond for my kids and I we had a wonderful experience, can't wait to return! They offer catering and are open late for those who have late night sweet tooth cravings! Many congratulations again on your second location!

I went on a hot day, it was nice and cool temperature when we walked in and the girl behind the counter named rain was really positive and helpful explained all the options made everything sound really delicious and was more than happy to give us a free samples of the ice cream. I ended up choosing a classic favorite of butter pecan and really enjoyed it. Just know that the ice cream here tastes, rich and creamy and delicious.! even though we were only passing through Fresno I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a sweet treat

    Kids loved this place!!

Great ice cream options. Our kid loved coming out and getting a sweet treat with their friends.

The owner was so nice, he explained the layout of the store and how each ice cream was made. The ice cream was really good and satisfying if you have a sweet tooth or even if you don't and in need of a sweet yummy cold treat. They offer community discounts too!

The location does have one restroom inside for customers and plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors too. Location and restroom were very clean and staff were very friendly! I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The owner's mentioned on articles that there's no one to take over and you don't become a master overnight.
