    My POV
    Mary T.

Accidently stumbled across this place while trying to go to the place next door. Went inside and nobody was there. It took a min for someone to come through the curtains and help me out. I wasn't greeted. No smiles. Just awkwardly standing there waiting for me to order. My son decided on the small brownie smash. It's pretty expensive IMO. The small already go for $8.25 +tax and it's tiny. U can seee in my pic. They made it fairly quick. We get in the car and my son drops it on the floor of the car! Wow just my luck! I go back inside and ended up having to purchase another one. This time it was a younger chick making it and again, no hello or smiles. The place was quiet and I was the only customer there. My son said he liked the ice cream.

They offer a variety of options for rolled ice cream and boba drinks. They also offer delicious snacks including pickles with chili seasoning. We ordered rolled ice cream and I appreciated the two size options - small and regular. It was delicious and the staff were friendly. The business is clean and offers seating.

What a cute little shop! There were so many tasty looking selections of ice cream as well as boba teas. The service was very fast and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back! They said the number 1 choice is the Oreo ice cream, and we can see why! Can't go wrong with that. It was fun to see the ice cream being rolled up too. Great, fun choice!

Best boba mangonada in Fresno. First of all, this is the only place I have seen that offers such a large size, combines the fresh fruit on top, generous portions of boba. Hands down the best boba. Haven't even tried the ice cream but I'm sure it's good. Update 6/25/2023 went back for the taro and matcha smoothie boba's. Just as good. Mangonada is still my favorite. You can also customize sweetness to your taste. The workers there, are young, friendly, fun, and efficient. I find myself tipping them every time I visit. They really do a great job!

Ice cream was very good. Didn't have to wait long to be helped and were polite. I will be coming back.

How slow can you go? If you have the time to wait, then I guess this place is ok. (but still not the best). Waited almost half an hour for two items and they still messed up on one of the items. No bobas mean no bobas. Good thing was, they ended up giving it to us anyway and remake a new one. Someone can benefit from it. This place is by GB3. Lots of parking spaces. Menu was easy to read. Not sure I would go back since it is far from where I am. I purposely drive to different part of the town to try new (er) places. Not sure I will drive all the way for their items. Not too appealing.

It was a nice warm day, perfect day to have a nice sweet, cold treat! Stopped by on our way home. There was no one at the shop as we entered we waited about 3 mins for someone to come out of the back to greet us. They have many options on their rolled up ice cream menu and they also sold boba. They also have vegan coconut base options. I ordered the brownie smash. The ice cream itself was delicious. I felt compared to competitors this place had limited simple toppings. My husband enjoyed his reese's bananas. Overall it was a good experience.

My children are very excited to finally try this place out as we've been seeing it in progress for the past year. It's a Saturday night so we expected a little bit of a crowd and we got one which was a good sign. The place is clean and decluttered, and a lot more seating than I would've expected. There was no line to order but a small line waiting for their fulfilled orders. The menu and all accompanying pictures were very appetizing, lots of different varieties and flavor contrast to go around. And a lot of the items had after touches that make the ice cream look even more Instagram worthy. Here is where I took a star off for overall presentation. The flavor was good, nothing great though because the actual turnout of the ice cream was very underwhelming. The rolls themselves were soft and creamy, but on top of that was a very small interpretation of the toppings pictured. I understand most likely due to timing and amount of people coming in and out they needed to ration? But I ordered the strawberry cheese cake and got 3 small squares of cheesecake(the small ones you see at Yogurtland), 2 small frozen strawberries(one of which was half brown),and a little cloud of whipped cream. The pirouline was the best part of the toppings. Another small blight on the visit was they got one of the 3 ice creams wrong. I ordered a Hella Chocolate for my youngest, which was echoed back to me in ordering and when they announced it in the pick up window but it was a different ice cream. I tried to compare it on the menu but didn't see one like it so not sure what quite happened there. Again, the busy Saturday night could have made this a fluke visit, but considering my kids are already asking to come back next weekend I can't be too harsh. Will look forward to a second try. The staff were smiling, happy, and working hard so I don't mind making another trip in.

So happy this is near us in the Sunnyside area of town. Parking immediately in front of store is limited but it sits in a rather large shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Upon walking in, you are greeted and can view the menu on their large tv monitors. They have a set menu along with boba, mangonadas, and create your own. I got the number #32 and it was so flavorful, I loved it. The rest of the gang got the number #1 which they devoured, so it was good! We also got a mangonada to try and it did not disappoint. Seating can be limited. It's neat to watch them make the rolled ice creams. Super friendly staff and overall good experience.

Well , we'll my Yelp Peeps, first off let me say, who does not enjoy an nice refreshing cup of ice cream! I know I do, so came across this spot from a friend posting on another social media platform. I was amazingly intrigued by the photo that was taken and posted! But of course, we had to venture off for ourselves and let me say, it hits the spot! Location is essentially comfortable , parking is limited but you have a huge lot of spots within walking distance. I will say the walk will do us all good anyways. But moving forward to the form of things, this spot is sandwiched between a pizza and poki bowl spot. So upon entering we were immediately acknowledged, welcomed and advised to hold on a few moments while the previous orders were addressed, Ty , no problem. That lil wait gave us an opportunity to view the menu of multiple choices of ice cream bowls with different toppings etc.! Now let's say if you love/ like ice cream , with toppings a lil out of the norm toppings but worth it, then this just may be your spot. The staff was polite and good mannerisms! Also you do have options besides ice cream bowls, you are also able to get drinks such as Thai tea, Boba OR.! You can make your own concoction of flavors and all. Pricing maybe a little off for some but comfortable for others, seeing as their is a process to make your bowl of fun! As this was our first visit, I will make sure my other cravings that I saw are attended too as well!...lol Seating and all is lightly limited to indoor and on a nice hot sunny day outside was just not pleasant to enjoy this lil bowl of delight! Needless to say , I do recommend to visit and give a taste, bring your kids, better yet bring your childhood to this location, enjoy for yourself, better yet watch the lil ones devour these bowls of great tasting ice cream delight! RDogg out...till the next review! Yelp it out loud!!

The location does have one restroom inside for customers and plenty of seating indoors and some outdoors too. Location and restroom were very clean and staff were very friendly! I decided to try two flavors since I was only passing through and couldn't easily come back to try it again. I got two of their monthly flavors, the sweet corn and the treasure chest. The sweet corn lacked flavor, you can only get a hint of it. There were a few corn pieces mixed in, but they were few and far between, plus they didn't have a strong corn flavor either. I loved the concept but execution was disappointing. The treasure chest was very good, though I personally wished there was a more even ratio of brown butter cookie to brownie. I can't recall if I even got any brownie pieces. Flavor was excellent otherwise. The other complaint that I have is that the scoop is small. As you can see from my photo, my two scoops looked like 1 scoop. Not worth the price. I know competitors like Han**ls, where I'm a regular at, have given bigger scoops. All in all, still a great quality ice cream.

This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired.
