Once you walk in, it's pretty stark inside. Clean, white, and minimalist, with a handful of small pictures handing on the wall, and a tree in the corner. There's only one tall, wooden stool table inside for two up against the left wall, along with a wooden bench by the front window that seats two comfortably. Cold bottled drinks in the refrigerated clear counter. On the right hand side is where you order and pay at the kiosk. Quick and simple. I like that a lot. You input your name and cell phone number. They text and call your name when your order is ready. There wasn't anyone else in the shop, aside from the three staff members behind the counter. Their work area is larger than in front of the counter. When my order was ready, one of the gals behind the counter called out my name and handed me my order. She kindly asked if I wanted a top to my small cup of vanilla ice cream. I declined, since I decided to dine in. I ordered the crème brûlée matcha crepe ($11.95) with vanilla ice cream ($2.00) on the side. I can't really say it's for me. It's a hand held matcha crepe wrapped around whipped crème and some corn flakes that added a bit of crunch. The top had a little burnt sugar. That was my favorite part. Was pretty good, I was a little confused because when you order it does not say what exactly is in each crepe (so please add that if you are able!), I ended up ordering the strawberry whipped cream crepe and the ice cream with strawberry crepe. They were pretty good, the crepes were thin and if had a lot of filling. I was looking for something closer to me that is like Millet Crepe (in Sawtelle). The good: I got the Dubai crepe and Yuzu cream cheese crepe. It was around $25 for two crepes. The crepes were so light and airy. We thought they'd feel heavy and that we'd be super full after them so we intended to eat it for our lunch but they were so light and airy (so we ended up eating more next door at the grocery store after). We loved that the crepes had various textural elements. The Dubai one had crunchy chocolate cereal (cocoa puffs). The yuzu one had a yuzu jelly on top and some chunks of mandarin inside. The bad: If we waited 15 minutes we would have qualified for the $1 discount at 12PM for the crepes (excludes the Dubai one) but we didn't know until after we ordered. The day we went apparently there was some influencer event and they were really backed up. We waited about 50min to get our order. They were sold out of quite a few so we got the mango coconut. Very good, and I love supporting small local shops, but I would say they're a bit overpriced. We paid $12+ for ours and I think ours was a slightly cheaper one. So for me, where I am a baker myself, I don't know that I would go back again for that price. But! The place is really clean and nice, I'd imagine in a normal day the wait isn't nearly as long as we waited, and if so, you could easily kill time around the area shopping or whatever else. Maybe go for their signature crepes instead. I like that they make it on the spot and I thought the gluten free crepe batter was good. My family (myself, hubs and daughter) heard about a new dessert place opening up, just didn't realize they literally opened yesterday; The owner and two employees inside were very nice. Employees were wearing a cute yellow beret and we could see them making crepes right in front of us. Simply order from their curated options or make your own. It's really nice that the crepes are gluten free also. Ordered up a banana crepe with chocolate syrup and whipped cream to try. The crepe was nice and thin, slightly sweet, and the filling was just right. Some filling through out the crepe and mostly on top. So cute to hold and eat.
