Was passing by and saw this wine tasting shop... was impressed with the collections they had . We generally like dessert / fruit wines and they had so many varieties of it . Fantastic service .. she was patient enough to explain and give us taste for many different wines.. we picked 2-3 bottles and were happy with it . Will surely go back if I pass this location . They also had 20% off for selected wines which made it more affordable . I think we paid 11-12$ per bottle .. worth it . read more

I was shocked to see the low ratings for this place because I really enjoyed my impromptu wine tasting here this past weekend!! Came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded.. we waited for maybe 10 minutes before we were attended to.. $5 for a decent sized taste of 5 different wines of choice.. the attendant was really friendly and seemed knowledgeable about everything. She messed up and gave me a different wine than I requested and just added that on for free... no wonder I was really "happy" when I left. ;-) And you get a free wine glass to go! I love love the Cape May red--my husband and mom-in-law helped me devour the whole 1.5L in a weekend. I also got the Cape May rose and the absolute favorite, Daffodil white. Prices are super reasonable.. I had no idea this place was nestled in the middle of Wemrock Orchards! I can't wait to return with some friends.. and check out the rest of the store. read more

For $10 you get to taste 5 different types of wines. My best friend and I were looking to do something simple and at the same time be able to grab some cider donuts. We had chosen not to go apple picking due to the weather so the country store attached to the winery was the perfect escapade for the morning. I really appreciated how the wine coordinator asked us what our preferences were and directed us to what we think we would enjoy. She even made sure to recommend their fall seasonal Broomstick Wine! The tasting lasted around 30 minutes because it is just sitting down at the bar tables and having it served in paper cups to you. It's simple and honestly for the price you pay, expected. If no stars was an option it would be zero stars. I came in for a tasting about an hour and a half before closing time on their website. I was planning on buying bottles for a bridal shower I am attending this weekend. There were people seated doing a tasting. I waited about 15 minutes before I was noticed. The woman asked if she could help me, I said yes I would like to do a tasting. She rudely responded "No! I am not doing any more tastings today" Previously I had heard nothing but good things about this location and I was very excited to try the wine. If you want to go to a winery, continue searching. This place has a lot of wine located in a small tasting room within the Wemrock Orchards - Freehold Country Store. There is no vineyard at this location. The smell of the apple cider doughnuts was intoxicating. read more

What a pleasant experience. I've been to many wine tastings and this was my favorite, by far. Ann was so knowledgeable and paid attention to what my boyfriend and I originally specified what type of wine we favored. She gave us great recommendations and we left with 4 great bottles of wines. We had such a great experience here. Super cute wine tasting room off a country store. Wines were really good and was able to get snacks and stuff from the country store attached. But what made our experience was Tracy. She was so sweet, so nice, accommodating, super knowledgeable and most of all honest. She took the time to understand what we liked and made honest recommendations from what our preference was. Just left a little while ago but have already recommended people to come here and will make plans myself to come back. I will come back when Tracy is working. She was amazing! read more

AVOID AT ALL COST. They are SOOOOO unprofessional. My sister bought wine from them. She liked the cranberry moscato, but her and her family all felt like the cherry moscato tasted very syrupy medicinal smell and taste (cough syrup). she emailed them and they replied "different strokes for different folks," following, "we have to agree to disagree." my opinion, BAD FOR BUSINESS. I'm never shopping there based off her experience. i saw her corresponding emails and the whole time i was thinking 'wtf'. read more

Maybe a bit over 3 Yelps, we'll say 3.5. This tasting room is closest to my house, but there are several others throughout the state. At this location the room is very small, probably too small for the large selection. There is also a country type store that had some nice baked goods as well as other items, but prices were steep. As far as the wines go they are pretty good. I was already familiar with their large selection of fruit wines, some are actually great dessert wines. I wanted to try drys, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The pinot noir and cab sauv were both pretty good, and a white variety I had never heard of, rkatsiteli was interesting too. Groupons are available for some of the locations, and that was a deciding factor in coming here. I will probably go back if I'm ever near another room of theirs. Try to go on a weekday, it might be too crowded on a weekend. The service was friendly, but short staffed even on a weekday. read more

This is no winery. It's just awful substance in a bottle. Somehow they offer about 3 dozen types of "wine" which is unheard of for a "winery". Blueberry flavor, cherry flavor, broomstick brew flavor, just an overall joke. It's not serious and is located inside the wemrock orchards country store. Avoid. read more

We liked several of their wines and bought cases of them last year. This year we were treated in a very condescending manner and have now decided not to purchase Tomasello Wine again. We will be trying a competing NY winery that sells similar specialty wines soon. Thanks but no thanks Tomasello! read more

I was extremely excited to try the cherry moscato but after opening the bottle at a family BBQ I was super disappointed. The taste was similar to the cherry numbing throat spray! It was awful! My dad said it even had an awful smell :/ we dumped the whole bottle :( luckily we had an unopened bottle of jersey peach! read more
