I've never purchased used tires before and wasn't sure who sells them or if any process exists to follow. Ended up at Norristown Tire Center where they opened my eyes to how simple it can be to purchase a set. They didn't have the used tires I was looking for in our vehicle's size, but they did have brand new ones. I decided to get a pair of new tires for the rear positions. I was in and out of there in under 20 minutes and less than $250!! Plus, I found a new tire brand in the process. Marketed toward small, zippy cars with owners who prefer high performance, Cosmos tires are designed to grip the road. Engineered for warm weather above 45F, they come well regarded in their segment, allowing drivers to compete on the weekends and make sharp turns with no squeal around town. I'm hoping for a warm spell to see what the fuss is about with our Mucho Macho tires. They take credit cards. Spanish and English. They use hand jacks to lift the car. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and pulled a few tire options for me at different price points. I ended up needing 3 tires since my opposite tire was old anyway and I had another tire with a nail in it! I was happy they were willing to do 3 instead of 4 tires, since #4 was only a few months old. I appreciated they didn't try to force me into a 4th tire just to make a sale. The location is good for waiting there because you can walk to a few places while you wait (Primos, Marshalls, etc.). My wait wasn't super short, but I was really just happy they were able to squeeze me in without anything scheduled in advance on the Sunday of a holiday weekend.

During the interaction, the manager repeatedly called the customer a liar, spoke to her with blatant disrespect, and referred to her as "you people." The tone, language, and overall treatment were offensive and humiliating. Instead of attempting to resolve the issue professionally, he appeared intent on belittling and discrediting her in front of others. Watching this unfold was uncomfortable and upsetting. No customer should ever be subjected to this kind of treatment, regardless of the situation. Every person who walks through the door deserves to be treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect. What I witnessed reflected a serious lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and a complete disregard for basic customer service standards. I strongly encourage Mavis Tire's corporate leadership to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. Conduct like this damages the company's reputation and creates an environment where customers may feel unwelcome, disrespected, or targeted. They were pretty helpful and got me booked right away. When I arrived and did the check-in, the mechanics, Dave and Maj, looked at my tires and addressed the leaking tire. They also drove it around the block afterwards to test the integrity of the tire pressure. They were quick about addressing the issue, and didn't actually charge me for it since it was an easy and quick fix, which was much appreciated. If i had to buy tires to replace unfixable tires, the prices were actually quite reasonable, and even lower than where I'd normally buy it (i.e. Costco). The people there were very kind and knew what they were doing with tire fixes, and I definitely look forward to coming back in the future.
