Great & fun place to stop for ice cream- especially if you are trying something new! When you first walk in the menu is a tad confusing, but the gentleman behind the counter noticed and explained the entire process to me, long story short you can pick the base for your ice cream, flavor, and toppings, then the actually make the ice cream of your choice right in front of you. I landed here because my son was in a hurry and did not want to go across the way into our usual ice cream shop. BIG, BIG disappointment! I was set on a chocolate chip shake. Once the smoke faded I was able to see an all chocolate shake. I pointed out to the server that was not a chocolate chip shake. After arguing some, she grudgingly fixed what I wanted. So while she threw stuff around and grimaced discomfort openly, I could not take my mind off the 11 dollars I had just paid, to include the "minimum" tip of 1.50. I've heard great things about this place from multiple different people. But after waiting at least 10 minutes in line and paying $16.95 for a small & custom creation. I'm left feeling like I got taken for a ride. Now was the ice cream very creamy like they claim, yes it was. But it was also rock hard from their freezing process you had to wait till it started to melt before you could enjoy it. I'm not apposed to paying a high price for higher end ice cream. But what I am bothered by is the manager literally sitting in between the register and the person "creating" the ice cream and weighing each individual amount. To the point where he was taking small amounts out to get just the right amount of approved ingredients. All the while there where at least 12 people in line. I counted five employees behind the counter, but only one person actually mixing the ice cream. There were 3 stations behind the counter. It would seem if you spent more time getting people in and out the door, instead of trying to maximize profits at the cost of the user experience you wouldn't have people like me writing this review. As other reviewers had pointed out the customer sitting area is very messy. Melted ice cream on the tables from previous customers. After paying I felt like I was sitting in the middle of the line of customers waiting to order. Probably cause that's exactly where your at. There isn't enough to sit and enjoy your ice cream and have a line waiting for people to order. It was good ice cream, but not good enough for me to pay that high price for such a sub par experience. We've had Creamistry in the past but have never been to this location. We stopped by to try it here, and the first thing we noticed was the place was dirty with all the table covered in old dried ice cream stains. We ordered, and nothing we ordered was out of stock they said. So we had to change what we wanted. Then we wanted to add some toppings. We asked bananas; she said they were out; we asked strawberries, she said they were out; my son wanted a brownie bowl, she said they out. She said my manager has to go shopping at some point. I love Creamistry trust me! I just moved out to Lake Elsinore from LA and I heard there was a Creamistry here so I was excited to try! I came for the grand opening. It was alright I expect busyness and to be dirty because hey who can pass up free ice cream? But I went another 2 times and it was still dirty like how it look for the grand opening. The counters were filthy and also the service sucks. Took my boyfriend and I about 20 minutes to receive our ice cream and they were not even busy! They had only one person working the mixer unlike the Torrance Creamistry everyone works the mixer. Also the managers seems to slack off I always see them watching over the workers. Like why don't you jump in to help them serve these orders? Even on grand opening they were standing around while they make their workers do everything. It's sad. I only gave 2 stars because the flavor is amazing! But it is a bit pricey. It's good once in a while. read more

Creamistry always has such great ice cream. However this particular one I had such a. Negative experience with the staff. We came in an hour before closing, which I understand the staff is tired and they want to go home ... however, that doesn't give them a reason to be rude. We walked in and almost everything we wanted to order they had said they do not serve an hour before closing, including waffles and strawberries. We had asked a question about the difference between two flavors and her response was rude, snappy and as if we were bothering her. At the end of the transaction we ended up leaving with vanilla and fruity pebbles because that was made to seem as if those were our only options :-( read more

Yes it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for right. The quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. The staff was very friendly they do a cute little welcoming once you walk in and say bye once you leave. It's great to watch all the little kids play in the fog thing reminds me of when my kids were little. every time I go in it's always clean, I was a bit skeptical once I was reading the other reviews about it always being dirty, but the few times I went it was clean. One of the best ice cream places I have tried! Not only is it freshly made but it's made in a timely manner for something that's hand crafted. The staff is always friendly and always welcoming and scoops the ice cream into a nice little ball! It's a cute little place and they do a good bye greeting as well.
