I've been here 16 times and these past two times have been TERRIBLE. The quality of a creamistry ice cream should be stellar and it usually is (when I come during the day). However, the night shift just isn't cutting it. The machine breaks down mid stir so its ruining the quality of the ice cream. It is typically hard when I get it..frozen. These past two times, because of the breakdown and the staff turning it on and off on and off on my stir, the ice cream is WATERY. Last time (and this time) I had bad diarrhea because of it. This time I told the staff about this so they made me a new one. I should've asked for a refund...it was watery and tasted like milk. It was supposed to be cotton candy. It wasn't as if the staff was friendly during this time either. A group of ten people came in and walked right back out after waiting. If I were the owner, I'd be angry that my staff turned away that big of a group. I didnt write a review last time, but I needed to this time. You lost a loyal customer. I cant believe I paid $6 for watery milk. Took me 34 minutes to get a scoop of ice cream. Ridiculous. read more

I am a Menifee resident. I've been wanting to take my kids to try creamistry and I finally had the chance today . I am sad to say we had a bad experience. The ice cream was really good but the service one of the employees gave was horrible she seemed bothered to even be there. She ignored us and rolled her eyes and sighed when we asked for lids. I was a fan until my last visit, we stood and waited for over 5 minutes while the front counter went unsupervised. There was a man in front of us that left without ordering. Finally an attendant named Bree emerges from the back and says " Can I help you?" There was no greeting, apology or even a smile. I told her I didn't know if they were open since we had been standing for a while and no one was there. All I got was a blank stare. I ordered a large which includes a vanilla waffle, this wasn't offered to me. When I asked Bree about it she said okay but I should let them know when I'm ordering next time. Like seriously? Kind of interesting I guess but geez, I just wanted some strawberry ice cream with I cone. I didn't realize that could be such a complicated thing. My family and I went there just wanting regular ice cream. (Chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream) nothing too fancy. Ok, my town Menifee is adding a lot of welcomed new businesses off of Newport ave. one of which is Creamistry ice cream. The concept is cool, staff friendly and informative. The bad stuff, it takes forever for them to make the ice cream, the price was ridiculous, $30.00 for 3 ice creams?? Really??? However the worst part of the experience was the ice cream itself. Real good choices and real good ice cream. Yes the price is crazy high ($30+ for three kids and two adults), but it's kinda worth it. Why only two stars? Clean your freaking shop!!! Holy crap! Soooo dirty. Been there twice and both times everyone is going crazy behind the counter because it's so busy, but cmon now. Take the time to clean the dining area. Every table had old ice cream on it, was a mess on the floor etc. yes making money and trying to serve everyone is important, but make the dining area inviting while we wait. Worst service, went there last night they were completely unprepared. The line was ridiculously long it seemed like they were understaffed. We ordered 2 large ice creams sat down and waited. After waiting for 30 mins they called one of our orders. The order was wrong they tried gIving us a Regular when we ordered a large. We asked the girl and she said that was the large cup, she continued to argue with us about the size. The girls were very unprofessional and rude. I absolutely LOVE this place!! My favorite part about this ice cream joint is that you choose you base! By that I mean you can choose to have it vegan (non-dairy) which is great for those who do not consume animal byproducts or if you're like me, dairy doesn't sit well with you. To be honest, this alone changed the game for me. I love going out to get ice cream and quite frankly many "vegan ice creams" aren't very tasty. But at Creamistry you still feel like you're eating good ol regular ice cream, guilt and lactose free! Other than the base options, they provide many different ice cream flavor options and toppings for you to choose from. I can't forget to add that is also super cool to see your ice cream be created with the help of liquid nitrogen! That part just makes it an overall fun experience for a first date or girls night out! read more

Very expensive for what you get . Very nice staff, great location. I would rather go across the parking lot to sonic or across the street to Baskin Robbins . I thought Baskin Robins was expensive??? Went and got three ice cream cups. One was a special order and it was not made correctly. The service was very slow it took 25 min to get our ice cream. The place was pricey and disorganized the guy working there was yelling out names for pick up and then walking away leaving the ice cream on the counter. This place is small, the service was not the best. The prices are soooooo high! For 2 people, size large with one topping on one and 3 toppings on another, (each topping costs money,) plus they both came with coconut milk which was an extra charge as well; total was $25! I got strawberry flavor with captain crunch and the ice cream is sooo smooth, which was nice, but the ice cream tasted bland, did not taste like strawberries. It was very one tone-tasting. The business itself is great, the ice cream is delicious but a little pricey. My complaint is that the employees are incompetent and illiterate. I have been there 3 times and this was my last time. Each time they have screwed up my order. When asked to fix it, they added a few toppings on the top when I ordered it mixed in. This last time they completely messed up my order, gave me vanilla bean instead of French vanilla, and chocolate chips in stead of curls. They just threw them in instead of mixing it and handed it to me. I will try out other locations but this one is just horrible. read more

Hygiene is very poor, bathroom looked like a truck stop bathroom and the tables and chairs inside are extremely dirty, very understaffed for a busy weekend day . . First off, I love ice cream and don't mind paying more money for quality. Obviously the price is higher here. The management here suck! They always look very unhappy and complain to much. You'll wait 10-15 minutes for your ice cream and they'll just stand there? (Btw my girlfriend and I went at around 9pm). The store seems to be always dirty. I went two other times since the store opened and never fails to be dirty. I recommend going to another Creamistry. read more

So good !~ I don't mind paying a little more for something that is delicious and not full of chemicals, that is why I love this place. The man behind the counter was very friendly and efficient. The ice cream was so creamy and didn't have an aftertaste that some ice cream does. I had the chocolate and my friend had the hazelnut cups and we were so happy. You get a big serving in the small size. Your ice cream is made fresh after you order it so you may have to wait a couple of minutes while you watch it being made, no problem. While waiting in line, My family and I observed the worker at the register repeatedly handling money and making ice cream without changing his gloves. We stood in line for a minimum of 20 minutes and he never once changed his gloves. Back and forth, register to food preparation, then back to register. He touched money, coins, debit cards, the register and then handled the mixers from the back, holding them by the end that make contact with the ingredients. He was also prepping the ice cream for the mixers and used the same dirty gloved hands to add toppings to the ice cream. When I got to the front, I asked him what the store policy was for handling money and preparing food without changing gloves and he told me that he didn't know. We walked out without ordering.
