Aggressive Removal: The removal of the wax sheet by the esthetician was noticeably aggressive and forceful. Immediate Pain & Acknowledgment: Immediately after the wax removal, I informed the esthetician, Treasure, that the areas above and between my eyebrows were extremely painful. Negligent Aftercare: I questioned whether a proper post-wax cleanser (such as rubbing alcohol) had been used. Treasure confirmed that "No" such cleanser was applied. I was only advised to use a generic ointment and Vitamin E oil. Upon returning home, the painful area above and between my eyebrows became severely red and inflamed. Carmen proceeded to state that she had been told I informed her manager that I tip her through a mobile payment service. This statement is completely false. I have never spoken with any manager regarding tips, nor have I made such a statement. The last tip I provided to Carmen was given in an envelope. Carmen then informed me that, because of this situation, she no longer wished to see me as a client. I was shocked and embarrassed, especially since these accusations were made in front of other customers. Not only was I not properly notified about the appointment change before arriving, but I was also falsely accused and publicly embarrassed. To make matters worse, I was told that if I wanted to be seen by another associate, I would have to wait an additional hour. This entire experience was unprofessional and disappointing.
