Dentist work was okay and no complaints. But, they are no longer taking Delta PP and only are taking Delta Premier as of January 1, 2023. As a result what was once covered at 100% is now no longer accepted. A new book keeper was hired after my January cleaning and apparently is finding new unknown charges. I was in there in January for a teeth cleaning and was charged for the whole amount-surprising since I have insurance that previously covered that procedure. When I cancelled follow up care that's when new charges suddenly appeared. I'm trying to question the new made up fees but feel I'm totally being railroaded into paying for a service way after the fact. I had not heard of any fees or outstanding balance until I cancelled due to the change in insurance to Delta Premier exclusively. I have only yelped one other time to share a really bad meal. I would not normally take this public but feel I needed to share the shady new policies that are currently happening at this dental office. read more

My children and I went to Dr Witek for many years. We absolutely loved him. And then he got a new receptionist. I had an infected tooth one weekend, and called to try and get in. This woman was the rudest I'd ever encountered at any office. She accidentally sent a text complaining about me to one of her friends, (which btw is against hippa laws) and when I texted her back and informed her that it was actually me she sent the text to, she ignored it. A few days later, my oldest daughter called this same woman to make an appointment for herself, she was told that our family was not welcome at their establishment any longer. I doubt Dr Witek knew this happened, as he always took such good care of us. But he really should do something about his front office staff. Aside from Pam, they've ALWAYS been rude. But this new one takes the cake! read more

As of today 12/28/21 Dr. Witek and his amazing team worked on my two cavities. I am so happy with how thorough he was with removing the decay and explaining his procedure step by step with me. Lezza, his assistant held my hand through the process and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciate how Dr. Witek listened to my concerns and met all my expectations. I am so glad I booked to consult with Dr. Witek because everyone was so professional yet you feel that hospitality the minute you are greeted at the front desk. My family has been coming here since 2008. Love this office. Dr. Witek is great. The front is always up on what my insurance covers and what isn't. When we first started seeing Dr. Witek I requested a treatment I was willing to pay cash for. Dr. Witek suggested a cheaper at home treatment I could do myself much cheaper. Wow, what dentist does that? The first cleaning I ever had at the office, I asked the girl her name because I wanted to always have her do my cleanings because that was the best cleaning I had ever had. Her reply: "all of us do this quality of work because Dr. Witek requires it." She's right, I always get a good cleaning no matter who does it. Well where do I start, I was referred here by a co worker. And I couldn't be happier, I work in the dental field(out of the area) but my parents live in Temecula & I'm so grateful I found a dentist I can trust, that i know is honest and takes pride in what he does. Dr. Witek is so honest and treats his patients like his own family. I went with my dad to his first appointment here because he recently got scammed at another dental office so he was traumatized to go anywhere. But after coming here, he and I were so at ease he scheduled all his treatment and work here, the hygienist Danika was so amazing and educated my dad on the importance of oral health. So I was recommended this place by my mother in law. She swore they were amazing and nice. When I arrived I told the girl in the front that my baby was asleep in there car and my moms hands hurt when she writes a lot and if it was ok if I signed and filled it all out she told me to was ok. I finished the stack of paperwork they have you fill out and went to give it back but this time there was a different girl there. She gave a the biggest attitude because I did it for her. I have been going to Dr. Witek for many years. I adore him and think he is a great Dentist. But, as of late, I find that the Hygienists and assistants are doing 90% or more of the work! I was really surprised, when my Hygienist, who does a wonderful job of cleaning, started to give me my numbing shots prior to my filling. She gave me three painful shots and it was pretty obvious she had no idea what she was doing. She pushed the needle way in and then out again and administered the medication down my throat. I was gagging and making as much noise,"OWWW" as I could, but she didn't seem to notice she was delivering the medication down my throat. It was an awful experience. When she was done, naturally, I wasn't numb, so when I went in to see the Dentist he had to do it all over again! What is this all about? We pay huge amounts of money to have Dentists work on us and yet we aren't being worked on, most of the time, by the Dentist!? I'm not happy with this and am saddened to have to leave to go to a Dentist that actually does his own work. I love this Doc and wish he did everything except cleaning. We, as clients, should have the option of having the Dentist do all of the work or girls that do not have the training that the Doctor does. If we decide to have non-M.D.'s work on us, we should pay a no M.E. price. If I go to see a Dermatologist, his assistant doesn't give lidocaine injections, right? So why are his assistants doing a Dentist's work. Sorry, but I just don't like it. I have to say, that Pam is the most professional person I have ever met. She pulls that entire office together. A few years ago I would have given the Doc 10 stars, because he is wonderful, but I want the Doc, not the girls, so I am giving three stars. read more

My family switched to Dr. Witek from another dentist over 17 years ago. Although I was just a kid, I could tell there was a huge difference between Dr. Witek and the previous dentist. Seeing dentistry portrayed in cartoons and on TV I was under the impression that it was always supposed to hurt. When I had fillings done by the previous office I remember feeling cold aching pain when the dentist drilled (they had given me local anesthesia too). I didn't complain or even say anything because I thought that's just the way it was supposed to be. When I went in for my first filling with Dr. Witek I really wasn't looking forward to the pain, and naturally I was feeling very nervous. That day I learned that dentistry isn't supposed to hurt. I felt nothing during the entire procedure and barely even felt it when he gave me the numbing shots beforehand. I ended up moving out of the Temecula area, so I haven't seen Dr. Witek in over 10 years (my family members are still loyal patients of his). Over the last decade Dr. Witek's exceptional work has truly stood the test of time. All the fillings in my mouth were done by Dr. Witek (with the exception of 1 that was replaced just last year). I have since moved on into a career in the dental field myself and after seeing fillings pop out or fail after as little as a year in other offices, I just admire Dr. Witek's work that much more. I had a single crown over a root canaled tooth Dr.. Witek had done for me. About a year and a half ago I opted to have it replaced after some of the porcelain broke off (due to me grinding my teeth) even though the crown was still functional and adequately sealed. The dentist that replaced it for me commented that the prep work of the tooth was very impressive. He didn't even need to make any adjustments, just took a new impression for the lab and that was it. If you want quality dental work that lasts, then this is your office. read more

I've been here for a teeth cleaning as well as a cavity filling. Both of my experiences were excellent. The staff is very friendly and the hygienists are down to earth and have a calming sense to them. The rooms have tv's with DirectTV and you are given a remote to choose a channel to listen to during your visit. A previous experience at a different dentist was very bad and had me shaking in the chair while I was having a filling as I kept getting sharp pains, likely from improper numbing. Due to this I was nervous about returning to any dentist. Dr. Witek was incredibly thorough to put my mind at ease and ensure that I had a pleasant experience. Dr. Witek and staff are a class act. I had an issue with 2 crowns that he had done. When I went in to have them fixed he was nothing but stellar. He was 100% professional and kind.
