My husband and I usually go all the way to San Diego to visit our trustworthy dentist but, he's going on a vacation this Summer and our dental cleaning was due so we decided to search on YELP for a nearby dentist with high ratings... Gallery Smiles appeared on top of our list and it was not too far from home so we decided to give them a call to make an appointment... SERVICE: Excellent A+ customer service! There were two friendly and pretty looking ladies at the front desk working very hard. They were patient over the phone and in person! ARRIVED: When we arrived at our appointment we were given paper work to fill out which was not too long or unreasonable... However, I found out later that the Dr. Lau does the cleaning herself and not the hygienist! This is very rare to find because usually the hygienist does the cleaning. I actually really like that she does everything herself and she takes her time to thoroughly clean and diagnose any problems she may find. I like how they also check your blood pressure and how Dr. Lau checks around your neck for signs of cancer... I felt like I got a 2 in 1 experience!!! Being at the dentist and doctor's office at the same time!!!! She doesn't seem like the kind of dentist that would UPSELL you on doing unnecessary DENTAL PROCEDURES just to MAX out your dental insurance claims!!! Believe me, I've been through that before and I did not experience that here... We all need an Honest and Trustworthy Dentist and so far I've found 2/10 dentists in my life so far. Bought our home on the Riverside-San Diego county line a year ago & was dreading looking for a new dentist especially since most of our health needs & other services have to be in Temecula or San Diego which is still a long drive because we're nestled behind Palomar mountain & you have to go through Temecula to I15 to get back to civilization or go anywhere really. That said, I was happy this dentist was closer to the road that takes us back into town and within our network. Well she turned out to be as excellent as all past reviews stated and after having dodged not going every year like I should have, she did a thorough look at what we were dealing with and stated I was going to need a lot of work for the short term as I needed to be free of any infections for a planned surgery I'm having soon. She actually needed to correct a lot of the prior work my former dentist had done that was done incorrectly (it really saddens me to say this as it was a long time dentist I really entrusted mines & my family care in, but it's truth, plus I'm being nice & won't slam former dentist, but other words would indicate their work was careless or even poorly done). Whew! That's a lot of detail to bring out. Anyhow, in a matter of two months it was all done, every appointment they would call me in promptly and though there were a few times I was anticipated in being there awhile, it felt as if it went fast and Dr Lau explained everything thoroughly, was always professional, had her billing assistant work with me on spreading the payments (I must say Delta insurance has gone downhill in past 25 years & doesn't cover major work done like they used to) and her staff has always been polite and always helpful. Location is great, it's in a medium sized medical building with plenty of parking in a nice area not far from the wineries I'll be going to her from now on. read more

I found this practice when my family and I moved here in 2020. After calling a few dentists in the area, I successfully booked appointments for my teenage daughters. After our first visit, I was so impressed with Dr Lau and her wonderful team that I scheduled appointments for my husband and I. We are extremely satisfied with the level of care and education/ information provided at every visit. This is hands down the best dental practice I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. I joined Gallery Smiles about 1 month ago. I use TriCare and recently moved back to California and had extreme dental pain, so out of urgency I called Gallery Smiles. I explained to them I just moved and haven't set up a dentist yet. Gallery Smiles was able to see me the very next day, provided me with an exam and fixed my issue in the following days, all on a last minute's notice! The staff has been amazing since day one. Super professional, extremely polite and they explain everything thoroughly. I'm so happy Gallery Smiles works with TriCare/Concordia. I highly recommend Gallery Smiles. The staff is friendly and the office is outfitted with the most current dental technology. They corrected some dental issues I from previous dental procedures with detailed xrays and before and after photos. I was so pleased with my experience with Dr. Lau that I decided to take my daughters to her for their cleanings. They came home telling me that they watched a video at their first visit and happily shared with me that they learned the correct way to floss their teeth. Dr. Lau and her staff are professional and caring and take the time to explain your individual dental plan and any recommended procedures. I recently switched from a dental practice I've been going to since its opening (15 + years). What impressed me most was Dr. Lau's honesty. After a thorough exam and cleaning Dr. Lau did not recommend additional procedures, including a procedure my previous dental office was insistent on me undergoing. In fact, Dr. Lau said it was unnecessary and my gums and teeth were healthy. Dr.Lau's front office staff and assistants are personable and friendly and make a great team! Dr Lau, Nicole and Amanda are fantastic. The entire staff is fantastic, including the Oral Surgeon, whose name escapes me right now. I am so pleased to have found this office. I have been to three other dental offices since living here and was disappointed with all of them. The staff here are amazing! The ladies in the front are so sweet and professional which makes the atmosphere so much more inviting, which is a positive especially at a dental office. I dread going to the dentist due to the negative experiences I've encountered in the past. This one was different though thanks to Dr. Lau and her assistant. They both put you at ease immediately. I had three cavities that needed to be filled and she was able to fill them all at once. I was terrified since my last filling was a painful experience. I didn't feel any pain throughout the entire procedure. If you're afraid of shots like I am I can assure you her technique is painless. She really takes her time to make sure you're comfortable the whole time. She explains everything that's being done and is extremely thourough. I've had dentists inject me with the numbing solution and walk away to treat other patients, then rushes through the procedure so that they can get to their next patient. They also never made sure that my bite was right so it would always take awhile for my tooth to feel normal again. To my surprise, all three of my teeth felt normal immediately after Dr. Lau was done. This showed me that she actually put a lot of care behind her work to ensure that her patients are satisfied.
