There are so few places of business that truly strive for excellence anymore. This place is one of them. Drop whatever dentist you have now and go here instead - Here's why: Front desk staff- I cannot express how good the front office staff here actually is. It's mildly mind blowing - Then knew my nickname when I walked in without prompt from me. Every talk, from arranging an appointment, to billing it a pure joy (yeah, even when it's a bunch of money). I've never felt more like a person in a dental office. The doctors - I'm so mouth pain adverse - And every other dentist office I have been to has at least one that's going to cause you unnecessary pain. If they employ one here, I have not found them. I've had several crowns from here and next day, I can barely feel anything, and certainly not pain. They are the only crowns I have that I forget are crowns. Get this; they even replaced somebody else's crown work that had fallen out. That one had been rubbing my gums and annoying me for years until it just felt off- Now that they replaced it, like the new ones, I can't even tell you where it is. The deep cleaning was a pleasure to go through here and instead of just bleeding gums after, I actually felt clean- Amazing. In my opinion, most modern dentist office billing departments are untalented grifters at best. Here, I have never felt I was being weirdly charged or had them come back and say they miscalculated thousands of dollars, which has been the norm from other offices. Really, yelp should implement extra stars just for this office. I can't recommend it enough. read more

Nice people and by all accounts a great dentist. But, contrary to the claims here that he's the only dentist since 2002, he's no longer the only dentist. Not a fan of the handoff to the younger dentist. I find it disrespectful to presume I'm okay with someone who doesn't have all the 5-star ratings working on my teeth. It would be much better if they asked if you were okay with it. I'm guessing most wouldn't be okay with it which may be why they don't ask. If you don't want the handoff...say so. read more

Great dentist. Great staff. Everyone is super nice and friendly!!! The dentist Dr Ruzzamenti and his assistant Kali are great. Dr Ruzzamenti explains everything, has always done a great job and is available during closed hours personally for emergencies. If he is not available he has another local dentist that backs him up who is also a great dentist. Kali is always helpful , friendly and always ensures all questions are followed up. The office is extremely clean and the whole staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office. read more

Let me start off with, "I hate dentist!" But I've been with Dr. Ruzzamenti for about three years. And my experiences there are great! Always gives me a warning before he gives me those horrible shots! Which by the way, those shots are super gentle and if it wasn't for his warning, I probably never know he gave it to me. The coolest thing is when he has to give you a crown. All the other dentist I have been to, the tooth is prepared and a temporary filling is put on until the crown is made and received to the dentist office. At Vineyard Valley Dental, Dr. Ruzzamenti creates the crown while you wait! If you ask Dr. Ruzzamenti he will even show you the crown being cut by the computer! So cool! Another thing... His staff are all FANTASTIC! Super friendly and knowledgeable! They put you at ease by answering any and all questions you may have! Vineyard Valley has been such a wonderful experience! From the dental hygienists to Dr. Janeck who did an amazing job replacing my old composite caps with veneers on my laterals and canines. She listened to any concerns and I was really impressed with our game plan, every step of the process and the careful construction of beautiful veneers to match my other teeth. I am SO happy with the results! I've had bad experiences with dentists before so it was incredible to be able to have full confidence in every step of quality of care and results. Dr. Ruzzimente is absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to. My family and I have been going to him for 15 years. He is available after hours for emergencies and always provides the best care. I cannot say enough for how professional he is, how his staff is great about everything and how OUTSTANDING this office is. I had some concerns switching dentists, but those have since vanished after getting work done here for the first time. Dr. Ruzzamenti is very good at finding issues, and takes the time to explain the symptoms, and level of importance. His work is also great. Knowing that a perfectionist is doing the work is very reassuring. I want those precision lenses he has for my own work! lol. The staff is nice as well. Today was my first visit and I HATE going to the dentist because of the terrible anxiety I get. I had informed the staff of this anxiety and they handled it privately and respectfully. The staff is polite and warm, the Dr. is very professional and he sat and answered my questions and asked lots of questions and immediately put my mind at ease, which I appreciated other dentists have not done this in the past. He really seemed to care and to ease my fears. The office is very nice and clean, they even gave my daughter who is (1) a new tooth brush to get practicing. Dr. R gave me a new nightguard/biteguard and seriously it's a game changer!! I went from a full U shaped upper mouth guard which I was still able to clinch my jaw and grind. This new one is tiny and just goes between my 2 front teeth, preventing my upper teeth from touching my lowers. It's amazing! I was waking up with a sore jaw, back pain and headaches all from clinching and grinding through my old guard. So thankful for the new one!! read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ruzzamenti for six years. We love both him and his staff. Dr. Ruzzamenti has always been very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I am what you would call a "horrible" patient. I hate going to the dentist. There. I said it. But going to this office does not make me scared. I once broke both of my back teeth eating a hard piece of cookie. Ugh. Stay away from sprinkle covered cookies! Dr, Ruzzamenti had to give me a crown on one tooth and do a root canal on another. Of course, I was terrified. But both procedures were flawless. I think the biggest compliment I can give Dr. Ruzzamenti is that both of my children love going here. Who can say that about their children and their dentist? My son has even had two fillings and never even knew he received a shot. This made the visit more pleasant for him...and for myself. His staff are the sweetest. Always smiling. They are fair with their pricing and I genuinely feel like they treat each patient like family. I cannot recommend Vineyard Valley Dental enough... I get anxiety going to any dentist, and for me to give 5 stars for a dentist says a lot. Vineyard Valley Dental is great. They definitely make you feel at ease. My biggest gripe about any dentist is the guilt they make you feel when you don't get in as much as they would like you to. Dr. Ruzzamenti and his staff do not give you the guilt trip. I don't know what dentist the people went to who wrote negative reviews, but it either wasn't this office or it doesn't matter who they go to, it would be negative. I am 60 years old and have gone here since they opened. I have never had this quality of work or the level of care at any other office and I have been to a few in my day. In the past 12 years I have had fillings, crowns, veneers, teeth cleaned, and teeth whitened. I am always amazed that everything can be done at the office. Even my crowns were made there while I waited. The work is as pain free as any dentist can make it. I can't imagine going anyplace else. The crew is fun and friendly. They even know my voice when I call every three to four months when I schedule my next cleaning. You can't get any better than that. read more

The service is professional and warm from start to finish. The front office greets you with a friendly smile, and is so organized with check-in and check-out. Dr. Ruzzimenti and his staff are absolutely amazing. I have been going to them for over 8 years. Every time we go they always go above and beyond. I had crowns that were so painful and had been for a decade and I thought it was the norm. After having them replaced by Dr it's been a new lease on life. Completely pain free. Dr. Ruzzamenti made me feel right at home and gave all 32 of my teeth (who knew I had that many?) great consideration and care! My visit was very educational and that makes all the difference when trying to establish and maintain healthy habits like taking better care of your oral hygiene!! First off, I am a NIGHTMARE when it comes to dental work. I have had a fear of the dentist my entire life. I moved from Orange County 5 years ago and couldn't imagine finding anyone as patient as my dentist in the OC. Then I met Dr. Ruzzamenti after finally gaining the courage to reach out due to experiencing pain in my back tooth. He was patient and made me feel so comfortable upon my first appointment. I ended up needing a crown replacement which caused me SO much fear leading up to the procedure. Let me tell you, I have NEVER had a better experience with a dentist. He listened to all my fears when I got there and explained them in a way that eased my anxiety. He is MAGIC when it comes to Novacane injections....I did not feel ANYTHING. He took extra measures to check-in with me throughout the procedure, letting me know sounds and feelings that would be happening in the moment. He even gave me extra Novacane just to make me feel comfortable. He made jokes and told me I can take as many breaks as needed, he will be patient and go through this as I felt comfortable. I am spreading the word to everyone how much I love Dr. Ruzzamenti and his staff. So thankful I found someone I can trust, fully and completely. I've been going to Vineyard Valley Dental for about 12 years, ever since my sister (who is very picky) recommended them to me. I recently had a root canal which I was a little afraid to have. Dr. Ruzzamenti did it expertly and with no discomfort. Then, I was flossing, and a very old crown popped out (Dr. R had not done that crown). I took the crown in and Dr. R said he could just re-cement it in instead of having to replace it with a new crown. This saved me a lot of money. Dr. R is very ethical and does what is best for his patients. I also like my hygienist and the office staff is very friendly and inviting. Highly recommend this dentist. read more
