Dr. Prais is such a great dentist! My husband and I have been going to him for years now. Unfortunately, they no longer accept Delta insurance, so we will be finding a new dentist. We were not notified of this, I was just seen in the office in July and it wasn't mentioned. My husband went in for a cleaning today and was charged the difference after the appointment. Such a bummer! If he would have known this beforehand, he wouldn't have proceeded with the appointment. Staff seemed apologetic over the situation, but we shouldn't have been put in this situation. I was referred to Dr Prais by a friend in the dental business. I was coming from a dentist that had retired and I tried another dentist before I asked my friend for a referral and that did not work out well. So, to start, the front office staff are probably the nicest people I have ever spoken with. On my first call, they were able to accommodate my schedule and get me in within a week. My next encounter with them was at my first appointment. They were so nice and sweet, super professional and made me feel welcome! Then, I was brought to the back office to get X-rays and speak with Dr Prais. Dr Prais has a very gentle bedside manner. He speaks so that I understand what work is required and tells me the procedure. He took time with me and didn't seem to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. Upon my second visit to get my temporary crown on and my teeth cleaned, the staff, again, were so sweet and welcoming. During my procedure, I felt calm and Dr Prais made sure I was comfortable at all times! After my procedure, I had my teeth cleaned. The Hygienist was amazing and did a great job on cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend her! I definitely will be returning to Dr Prais' office and know that he will be my longtime Dentist! I'm so happy to find him and his wonderful staff! read more
