Then the inside is that incredible, soft bite on top and throughout, with that slightly crisp bottom that melds right into the chewiness of the center of the cookie. Perfect balance of dough and chocolate. Finished with a beautiful sprinkle of sea salt on top that actually stays on the cookie and is present in every bite. They suggested to take a strawberry shortcake cake they already had made and decorate it. I just said I wanted flowers and sent them a few ideas.
