I've been here many times now and the pastries, afternoon tea, and lattes have all been really good! When I found out they were serving Dutch Baby pancakes, I knew I had to go back to try them. The cashier/waiter was also kind and welcoming by explaining the menu and patiently answering any questions. The interior is immaculate and the music isn't too loud, so it'sa nice place for a casual date. Indoor seating is limited but the outdoor backyard area is spacious. Looking forward to enjoy eating at their outdoor seating area when the weather is nice!

There is no better place than this for beautiful and delicious pastries in the city. I almost question why I give other places five stars because they are that delicious here. It's perfect for those that don't want overwhelmingly sweet and don't want to feel like something is way too heavy and filling. I stop by here for birthdays, friend gatherings, just for myself, and as small gifts for my fiance. Everything I have tried is delicious and I hope they stay forever. They are also kind and package the cakes and buns in the cutest boxes. 1000% the best bakery in the area, and my personal favorite in NYC. The price is also reasonable for the bread goods and the quality is very good for their cakes, so worth every penny (or nickel!)

I was on the hunt for a spot that serves mille feuille (mille crêpe) after ViVi Bubble Tea in Astoria closed, and I'm so glad I found AnnTremet Cake (formerly Roam Dessert Bar & Gallery) in Long Island City! This place is a hidden gem for anyone with a sweet tooth and an eye for aesthetics. I picked up five mini cakes: Chocolate Mousse ($11), Yuza Matcha ($10), Bamboo Shaped Dessert ($15), Coconut Latte ($11), and Mont Blanc ($12), plus two slices of their Black Sesame mille feuille--and every single one was stunning to look at and absolutely delicious. Each dessert was thoughtfully crafted, with distinct flavors that weren't overly sweet. The mille feuille in particular was rich, delicate, and full of black sesame flavor--definitely one of the best I've had in NYC. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but the quality, artistry, and overall experience make it 100% worth it if you're in the mood to treat yourself. Highly recommend for dessert lovers or anyone looking to impress a date or friend with something unique and beautiful. I'll definitely be back!

Kind of pricy but so yummy! I got the lemon, chestnut, and chocolate Mont blanc: chestnut one. Daniel's favorite. It's creamy and not too sweet. Decadent Lemon shaped dessert: my favorite! Looks so cute and it's so tart and lemony in the best way! Chocolate mousse: great chocolate mousse

It's really a 3.5. The shop itself is very spacious and cute. However, when it comes to taste and freshness of the items, I'm not really sure if I can recommend it. This is more in line with an Asian bakery, given the level of sweetness, and that doesn't bother me at all. But the actual flavor of the items is pretty muted. I tried the strawberry cake and the Mont Blanc chest nut mini cakes . Both are clean tasting but didn't have any other brightness or note in the flavor. The price is also pretty high though the cakes themselves are very pretty. I would probably pass on this bakery unless you absolutely need something that looks super cute and dainty.

    Spring afternoon tea for 2

I visited this bakery/dessert cafe which used to be Roam Dessert Bar & Gallery and has now reopened to be AnnTremet Cafe. I visited for their Spring Afternoon Tea Menu for 2, which consists of savory and sweet bites and tea. I really enjoyed all their savory bite!! I wished there were more savory than sweet because by the end my sweet tooth had it's fill by the end. The Afternoon Tea special was $36pp, which was a great price for the amount of food you get! Some of the nice like the mousse cakes are very pretty, but there are some inconsistencies. Like one of the ones I was eying in the display case seemed to have condensation bubbles and another had smudges on the outer layer coloring. There is a nice back patio too which will be a nice place to enjoy once the weather gets nicer. Overall, the Spring Tea menu is well worth it for the pricepoint, especially if it's a lovely day and you can enjoy high tea in their patio!

    Mango Madness Mousse

This was a cute little spot near our hotel that had an adorable selection of baked goods. They also serve drinks, but we only tasted the Mango Madness Mousse. The servers were friendly (probably the most friendly we've encountered) and courteous, and they put care into ensuring the pastry was securely placed in the box for its journey home. Taste-wise, it was just the right balance of sweet and a teensy bit of tart. The cake was soft and moist, the exterior shell was delicate and the right consistency for sliding that spoon through. Overall, I would return, but my only wish would be for the selection to be fuller - the display appeared emptier than the previous Yelp photos indicated. Perhaps I got there too late in the day?

    "Strawberry matcha"

How is this an iced strawberry matcha? It tasted like cereal milk. I was very disappointed to take a sip once back in the office to taste this. Total rip off. That's why you shouldn't leave children running a business.

Love the LIC location cute seating area and huge pack patio! The desserts are so creative, so fun and vibrant! Not sure I would call them the most delicious, but overall good. Cute to bring kids, friends or date. The taro latte was also yummy!

One of two display cases. This is what they had remaining around 3pm

Got TooGoodToGo. Pickup was fast and friendly. Happy with the purchase. It came with a few cinnamon rolls and a chocolate pastry. Would come back again

Most people are in and out. The coffee is rich and flavorful. The pastries are not bad either. Definitely a good neighborhood spot for those that aren't looking to spend their whole day in a coffee spot but instead are looking to grab and go.

Let me tell you why this coffee shop stands above the rest:…read more 1. They use quality beans. I'm a home barista and use Oslo's beans for my americanos. When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

Unfortunately, it was totally bland and not large at all. The side sauce added nothing and over 30$ with tax/tip. For entrees, we shared the lobster pasta and the guazzetto di Pesci. The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.

They did bring out complimentary bread, which was appreciated, though it felt like something that should be standard rather than a highlight. One item someone in our group wanted -- the octopus burger -- was unfortunately unavailable, which was disappointing, especially given that it was brunch and still relatively early in the day. That said, the dishes we did order were good and well prepared. The space itself is nice: the front functions as a cute coffee shop, while the back has tables for sit-down dining. Because of that setup, the vibe feels more casual, but the menu offers solid options. Overall, it was a good experience, just not a great one -- a decent brunch spot, but nothing that blew us away.
