Bought a new truck and had the system installed. The wiring for the subs was shady and could've burned my amps. I messed up by leaving my truck. Instead of the correct fuses they used circuit breakers that heated up and offered no protection for my amps. Even now my 300/4 is suspect. Also, my W7 was always in the house, but when I picked my truck up, the surround had mysteriously disintegrated. Had to drop $2k+ for anew one and to have it put in the box! Had my truck rewired at a reputable shop only to find out Universal had cut into my truck body where the factory amp was *dead face* Had the amp moved and every power and ground wiring redone. System can breathe now and actually bump. I trusted Jordan and his peeps and it was my mistake to leave my truck. I'd never do that again. NVR. I won't be going back there because I don't know who worked on and cut into my truck. It's sad because I was trying to help a small shop.

I needed both front door speakers replaced in my old 2004 Toyota Sienna handicapped converted…read moreminivan before donating it to another family. Ordinarily I would have done this myself in the past but I didn't have time or the inclination. I found Aegis via Yelp, and super glad I did. The owner was there, answered my questions and gave me a very good price on a pair of JBL 6 x 9 speakers that would fit and included installation would take about an hour. Sold!! The owner has over 25 years of car stereo installation business with his family in prior locations in Long Beach and Garden Grove and that was evident watching him work. He knew exactly the sequence to disassemble the door panels, removing screws and attachments quickly, then with the door panel off, he removed the old speakers from their spacer mounts and replaced them with the new JBL 3 way Stage 1 962M speakers. They were a perfect fit! Cutting and adapting the wiring was a cinch, and after 30 minutes he had the passenger side done. Rinse and repeat with the driver's side and everything was buttoned up in an hour as promised The Sienna's JBL 10 speaker stereo system has never sounded better even when new to us. I had already refoamed the rear 8" JBL OEM subwoofer and together there was plenty of clean, clear audio output with solid bass from front and rear speakers. Excellent work, professionally done, at a very agreeable price considering his and my time. Highly recommended for honest service, quality products, and professional installation. He's definitely going to be in my car audio referral list for my other cars and anyone who needs help in La Habra and surrounding communities. While the shop looks small from the outside, it has room for 2-3 cars in a very spacious inside garage work area complete with tools and supplies. The arcade game is a plus in the waiting room!
