I HIGHLY recommend Jimmy over at Alatorre Motorsports. Not only does he do EXCELLENT work but he's also a really nice guy. He's pays close attention to every detail, is very knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to offer his customer's the best service possible. For me, he's definitely the type of guy I want working on my vehicle. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and has his customers best interest in mind. When it comes to aftermarket modifications, he's got tons of great ideas and is very creative. He runs his shop with an open door and is very transparent in how he does business. He also brought to my attention several modification ideas that I had never even thought of before. Jose G's post is right... This place bombards ads all over Craigslist. I came to get some parts for my car and after I had bought and had them install the parts. They treat your car without care and scratched up my paint. Terrible service! Most of their parts are cheap and bad quality. Yes you get what you pay for but Alfonso the owner is a liar. He is nice in the beginning but when something doesn't work and you go back, he will treat you like sh*t and is rude. Do not trust this place or it's warranties. You have been warned. read more

My bf got his work van alarm installed here, as well as the doors fixed. The guys here did an amazing job and they were so honest and didn't try and sell him anything he didn't need. They worked very quickly and were the most inexpensive place in the North OC area (we called around to every mechanic shop in North OC). My GMC Acadia needed a new headlight HID bulb and the dealership wanted about $575 to replace it with labor. So I took it to Alatorre and they upgraded both lights to LED - including my fog lamps for less than half of what the dealership wanted. Plus I now have LED lights that are amazing looking and are brighter. They did the work fast and the price was awesome. So glad I found them on yelp! I will try to add pics too. read more

I came here not to long ago to get my 2003 gmc sierra a new radio and some speakers for the front doors, i spoke to jimmy about different options to fit my budget, i came in like 5 min before they close so i decided to come back the next day, and got exactly what i wanted and i couldn't happier with what i got. There was another guy i spoke to who installed the stereo i forgot his name but both of them took care of me very well, if anyone asks me if i know a place to get great service and great stereo stuff i will send them all to these guys. Great place to get your HID/LED kits installed! The install specialist is very knowledgeable and friendly guy. I have a 2014 BMW that I got some LED and HID lights installed and he did a great job and was fast too. Really good pricing as well. A bit far from where I live but worth the drive. read more

As an out of towner, I had to take a cab to get to Alatorre Motorsports. Purchased their steering wheel combo, great price. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Mazda hub in stock but they let me know that they would have it the next morning. Instead of having me take another cab ($45 roundtrip) Jimmy and Alfonso made arrangements to deliver it to me at my hotel. my experience there was bad i couldnt believe how the shop owner tryed to play me,so i went there to get my purple lights and about 2 weeks later they blew out and once i went back i asked him if i can get them replaced,then wen i told him they blew out he started acting as if he dident sell them wen in fact i only have gotten 1 pair of purple lights and it was there..and he was being ignorant and denying he sold "illegal" lights wen in fact he has different colored illegal lights... never going again! and i suggest anybody else find a better shop to go to and it was interesting how i went 3 times and wen i did go i saw people getting there parts replaced as if it happens on a regular bases..the first time i went i only got stickers wich were i have to say pretty okay,but so far as getting ripped off by this guy,not good read more

I did a bit of shopping around for the best prices and turnaround times. Found this place on CraigsList and wasn't expecting much by the look of the shop. As soon as I got there I was greeted by one of the guys, looking like the Hispanic version of Will Ferrell and got great service! Most of the parts I was looking for were in stock. They were able to get the harder to find items on a quick turn around time tho, of course with a deposit, SO I was impressed by that. Over all they really were knowledgeable about the parts for the car that I have and if they didn't know something they DID the research which is hard to come by now. Their prices are very reasonable "as is," compared to other well know JDM shops such as Password..., JHP..., ect. you can get high end NAME BRAND parts for cheaper without the cockiness like at a typical highend JDM shop.
