I dropped my car off on Saturday morning at 10 when they opened and they had the entire car done by 5:30 pm which I think is very quick. The sound system sounds outstanding too. I was recommend them by Greg. He said to talk to George and that he would take care of what I needed to get done. I was already pushed off by two other shops local to me in the Long Beach area. So after talking to George I felt confident they could do the job. And they did! Got there right when they opened and talked with Larry, they head tech. He was skeptical but after 3 hours (the estimated time George and I thought it would take) it was done! All the functions work that are supposed to. So executed as agreed in the price that was agreed on. Two wins! I would give them a 5/5 but I had to knock it to a 4 due to some parts of the trim getting scratched but it was negligible and given the oddness of the work to be done and the age of the vehicle I let it slide. Don't let that 1 star knock discourage you! These guys know what they are talking about! This place came highly recommended from the stereo shop that I had been going to for many years. The shop has been here for a very long time but I had never had any work done here prior to this. I asked to have four speakers, 1 amp, a head unit, with installation done. They charged me just over $1,700- and the sound was pretty good. I was a bit disappointed to find that after I drove my car away that they had left several Nuts and Bolts still left behind on my floorboards. One of my inside panels wasn't fully put back on. Not a problem, as I know these things can get overlooked sometimes in a high volume establishment such as this. What bothered me was the person on the phones cavalier tone of voice when informed of this mistake. Instead of going back and having them do something that I could easily do myself I opted to reinstall the panel myself. It wasn't until I got a really good look at the work that they did that I also noticed that they had installed the amplifier under my seat crooked. It was shifted by almost an inch diagonally. A very lazy oversight, that could have been easily noticed when doing the work. For the price I paid and for how highly recommended they were I ended up fairly disappointed in the level of service I received. Highly recommend! They installed a Pioneer wireless carplay with steering wheel controls and a backup camera for me. Advanced Car Creations was great to work with from start to finish. They gave me a quick response for an estimate, quoted a good, competitive price and kept true to their word and installed the correct equipment. They didn't try to upsell or upcharge once I got there. I really appreciated their honesty and good workmanship. They did a great job! At another place I went to for my other car, they pulled a bait and switch with their estimate just to get me in the door and when they finally agreed to keep their word, they sneakily installed a second-hand system and shoddy used backup camera. Advanced was the complete opposite experience with keeping their word, putting in the actual equipment I bought, and they went above and beyond to be kind to me and my toddler who had to come along with me and wait. I bought a boombox that was used and 12 inch woofers kickers was owner willing to deal with me I bought it cash and the best thing is it's almost been five years not a single problem with them I just wish I wouldn't match the ohms to my amp but it's kind of my fault for not speaking up and not stating what I want exactly but next time I know exactly what I want will probably be coming to buy more stuff. Great, honest, work! Had them install new head unit for my 2019 CRV and were transparent about their concerns-- Jose mentioned the brands they trusted were not available for my vehicle so I had to do my research 1st. Brought back a unit for them to install and in 3 hrs it was completed. They even gave positive feedback on initial impressions of the unit. This is long over due but remember to pay AFTER your service. I was too naive when they asked me to pay before even finishing the job to still eventually fail. I was trying to fix/connect my reverse camera and the product I had was missing a part so they couldn't fix it and recommended and insisted their products would work, but guess what? It didn't! I paid over 250 for the service along with the product. I understand charging a service charge is reasonable, but to charge me for a device that doesn't work? It's super unlucky because literally the day right after they serviced my car go totaled so everything was a total waste. Obviously that's not their fault but I could've saved 160$ AT LEAST. If I remember correctly the service itself was around 90? Service was ok. Every time I pass the store I get so upset with myself by essentially getting SCAMMED. PAY AFTER SERVICE!!!!!!! Honestly I thought this place was ok but they proved me wrong. I took my 2019 Ram for New amp Wire's and a box that fit 2 10ins sub woofers I also got the truck cover that folds, so i was spending A good amount of $$. So they did the Job and I have no complaints about the wire job. The problem was that a month pass by and I had to call them, and they said o ya your box is here.. I show up the box doesn't fit (keep in mind it's payed for already) Month or more later no call nothing... if I wouldn't have called I would still be waiting. The guys at Advanced Car Creations were great. I came in with a set of HIDs on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee that weren't working properly. They took a look at the HID kit I had and determined it was not of good quality. They then recommended an HID kit they had in stock that would should work perfectly. The removal of the old kit and installation of the new kit only took a few hours. The new kit has worked perfectly so far and we're super happy with the end result. They made me pay full price for one back door speaker when they come in a pair, so technically they should have replaced both back doors . I didn't know this being a girl . They were not able to figure out my issue so they ripped me off instead by replacing these speakers and didn't even try to figure out what was wrong with my system (which was done by another shop)Luckily I took my truck elsewhere to someone who knows what he's doing and that doesn't take advantage of women! I purchased an off market radio off of Amazon for my Late model Honda Element and thought I could install it myself, I was wrong . Once I figured out that I needed some help, I started searching Yelp for stereo shops. I found Advanced Car and am so glad that I went with them. I send a message on Yelp and Jose was the first to respond. I let him know what I needed and he gave me a reasonable quote over the phone. I went in a few days later and Jose and crew were super friendly, and accommodating. He described everything to me as this was my first time dealing with a radio install. My car was done within an hour which was great! After taking it home I noticed that the subwoofer was not bumping as it was previously so I called up Jose to mention it to him. He said that it could need a different harness which was causing the radio to not function as intended. He said he would order the new harness and that it would be in, in a few days. After the part was received I came back in, his tech replaced it in about 15 minutes and he said not to worry about paying anything extra for the labor. I went to this place yesterday to see if they could do something with my antenna for my Sirius radio. I kept getting antenna error and it was getting frustrating! They fixed it! I was in and out in a little under an hour. The staff was friendly and concerned about my problem! I appreciate their attention to detail and would highly recommend this place. Update: Came back today after 2 months as my Sirius Radio was acting up. I continually was receiving error message. They fixed it and I believe the problem is solved for good! I've had the same car for several years and just cannot let it go, but whatever Honda provides just doesn't cut it. A few years ago, I finally decided it was time to upgrade the stock head unit that quit reading the music on my iPhone. I came in to Advanced for the first time in the summer of 2016, and Robert immediately knew the type of Pioneer head unit I wanted (CarPlay was most important to me). I even had a backup camera installed. It all worked awesome, and the price tag was reasonable for the work that was done. Not cheap, but worth the time I would have spent figuring it all out by myself. Fast forward to 3 years later, and they sure don't disappoint. Larry, George, Robert and the gang were great about making sure I got quoted the best deal on a new set of Alpine speakers, amp, and a DD subwoofer. They know exactly what components you need for the car that you have. They were honest about how long it would take. (Always plan ahead...you want them to have the time to do things right. Don't expect to come in and have stuff done on the same day.) I am an audiophile, so they were very generous in letting me try different subwoofers until I heard the one I wanted. I loved the service that I got; they asked all the right questions, and I am always happy to spend time in the shop to make sure everything is done right. They put up with my crazy requests (power inverter, dash cam, hiding wires, and more) and were very patient. They charge reasonable rates for the amount of work that is involved, and they're all really great guys. In a day where YouTube and Crutchfield are king, you can see how they continue to do business for over two decades. I highly recommend Advanced to anyone who, like me, isn't willing to spend twice the amount of time to break his own car installing this stuff. read more

Spending money at this shop was the wrong decision. Bought the Alpine 5 Chanel X Series amplifier and the R Series truck box speakers and had them install my complete system for $3,500.00. The day of the installation as we're going over the details of all my products the installers friend walks in and I have to spend 20 minutes listening to who is bringing the beer and the barbecue meat that they are having on the weekend, SMH! So I'm picking up my truck he forgets to install the XM tuner now I have to rearrange my schedule to bring back my truck. The shop had no idea how to fix the stop and start technology on my F-150 witch was shutting off the amp for that split second on the restart. They lied to me saying PAC had no idea what was going on and it's wasn't their add on. When I called after giving my information didn't even have to explain what the problem was, PAC already knew what was happening and they sell a module for that. So double checking their work, there was a screw missing on one of the door speakers, there were five screws missing out of the dash area four clips that hold the face plate. Then they tried stealing parts that came with the system. Thinking I didn't know the part list that came with everything. Definitely stay away from this shop. Alpine should be embarrassed that they gave them a Diamond status. read more
