As a home owner, there are many things to worry about... things breaking, maintenance, bills, etc. One of these is to maintain your landscaping. We've been clients for many years, but recently the service has tanked. They haven't trimmed the hedges in months (even after repeated requests) haven't mowed the lawn in three weeks and when I texted to ask when they were planning to do the work I got a one-line response saying "We are discontinuing service as of May 1st. Thank yoi." This was on May 3. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Makes me sad, because the guys are actually really nice. Michael especially is a gem. read more

We had 110 linear feet of back wood fencing in our La Canada backyard suddenly lurch forward due to pressure from overplanting behind. Previous owners thought bamboo and wisteria were wise choices. We got four estimates for removal of old fence, intervention of overgrowth behind, and construction of new fence, including two gates. Creative Concepts was the most responsive and the most reasonable (coming in at half of the most expensive estimate). I have nothing but compliments for the speed, efficiency, and quality of the work Creative Concepts performed, and the staff are true professionals. Dan the client contact was quick and gracious, even arranging for us to continue the rental of the portable toilet for our house painters (at our cost, of course, but it certainly made things easier for everyone). Edward the estimator is a true gentleman, very easy to work with and made sure the worksite was clean and organized. Gus the foreman who did most of the work did a beautiful job; he's an artist. Everyone was professional and respectful. And did I mention the price was very very reasonable, even with the escalation in the price of materials? Wow! With all the great reviews! I called this company on Tuesday morning. I am in need of a yard maintenance and consultation person for my property. We had a very good discussion. The first question I asked was "do you service Glendale Proper or just La Crescenta. I gave him my address and was told that they, indeed could service me. We set up an appointment with the owner, Ed, for 10:00 am today. I moved my schedule to be home and meet Ed at my residence. At 9:15, Daniel calls me and informs me that Ed will NOT be coming, because our residence is out of their service territory. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I moved my schedule and was sitting at home waiting for you. The very first question I asked was "do you service my area?" So you changed your mind? Ok! Not cool, but you had two days to call and tell me that. Instead you had your guy call and cancel 45 min before meeting. I would not trust this company. Very Bad business ethic! read more

The workers are very professional, skilled, pleasant, clean up after themselves and are most considerate. They have turned my dust bowl corner lot into a breath taking oasis. Wow, this was the best experience. I have never written a review before but I was so pleasantly surprised by this landscaping experience that I wanted others to know that there are still companies out there that care about doing a good job and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I am a homeowner and wasn't having any luck with grass growing in my backyard and needed a creative solution for a functional backyard that would work for two young children. Edward (Creative Concepts) came highly recommended. He came over to our house and proposed some ideas for how to landscape the yard without grass (too shady) but in a way that would be appealing and work well with children. Edward's prices were reasonable compared with estimates we received from others. Edward is very responsive and gave us estimates when he said he would, showed up on time, stayed on schedule and was so incredibly patient when we changed our minds (multiple times) which required him to undo/redo work and added work (lighting) which extended the project longer than he anticipated. It was so refreshing to have someone do quality work, care deeply about doing a good job and to work so patiently as we changed our minds and added to the job. He has been amazing about calling, e-mailing to check in with us to make sure the plants, sprinklers and DG is doing well.
