I am a hairstylist in the area and I have spoken to a lot of other Mom's who have had similar experiences as I did. I won't go into the details but the owner of this place is an extremely unprofessional and an unpleasant person. Three of my clients and my coworker have had negative experiences here. Some ending in withdrawing also. The owner is disrespectful and aggressive with the parents. She has lots of personal issues that she involves her employees in. The girls that worked there were very nice, but I could see there was tension and strict inconsistent verbal abuse from the owner. If she is the owner, then her actions and attitude are a representation of the integrity of her establishment. I withdrew my child properly and waited the two weeks. But I would not go back. Although, my toddler loved her teachers there. They do not provide lunch for the kids and charge more than most daycares around. We have been at a daycare close to this one for two years now and we are so very happy. They are like family.

I called in the middle of April to see if there were openings so I could let the principal know whether or not I was available to work. They told me there were several openings however I was required to tour the facility no more than thirty days prior to her attending. Ok, even thirty days before was annoying bc my work needed an answer but whatever. So I showed up May 3, (a little less than thirty days) for my tour. The lady at the front said she tried to call me to let me know the owner decided she would no longer hold spots for people regardless of paying registration fee. Ummm what?! How is anyone supposed to start a job if they don't have daycare lined up??? The front desk lady said I can call a day or two before I have to start working to see if there's a spot or not. That is absolutely horrible to put a working parent in that kind of position. But the front desk lady let me know the owner didn't want to save my spot for thirty days because she didn't want to loose out on money if another child wanted to attend this month while she saved my spot. Ok whatever since money is so important and not customer service I'll look elsewhere. I've never heard of a daycare not holding ur spot with a paid registration fee. Even when I was pregnant we put the registration fee down at a different daycare facility months before even having the baby so she was guaranteed a spot so I could work. Response to owner: 1. I know you're very concerned about the daycare my child was in so just to inform you, they were full in July but did pre-register her for August (that means they're holding her spot from May-August)! 2. I wasn't told I could call weeks before to see if there were spots, the lady said a few days before. Besides, with your horrible policy who cares if I called "weeks" before clearly you wouldn't reserve a spot and all spots could've been gone the next day regardless according to you. 3. Shouldn't have wasted my time to even look at your school if it was already full-- hence me calling prior to tour. Maybe you will have less "teachers kids" in the summer due to summer break and you could've made a profit off of my child attending. Oh well overall it's best my child doesn't go there, it's clearly just a business.

They have great hours that works with our schedule and pricing comparable to other daycares we looked at. But here, the kids get great meals all day, which was a huge plus for us. We've had teachers Aniah, Kat, Ale, Chelsea, Isabel, and miciyah, and they are each wonderful. Even the teachers who don't have my son know his name. The playgrounds are great, and the facility is safe. I love that they offer the live camera access. They have learning plans each week and we appreciate that. The school is always clean. I am so happy with our choice in kiddie academy. Highly recommend.

Before starting, she was terrified at the concept of school... but within weeks it was her favorite thing ever. She loved all her teachers and she still asks to go back and visit them. :) The administrative staff is fantastic and supportive (for both parents and children). Communication is great as well - we loved the daily updates (as did the Grandparents!). One of the best aspects of Goddard is how well they handled my daughter's allergies. They were meticulous and proactive, ensuring her safety while allowing her to participate fully in all activities. We miss our Goddard Family!

Also she's responsible for upgrading the kids menu making it super nutritious. Sage's teachers, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Molud, are so sweet, gentle, and nurturing. It honestly feels like I'm leaving my baby girl with family. I love reading the daily reports and all the cool stuff they are showing baby Sage how to make. Childcare Nightmare…read more I'm going to keep this as straightforward as possible. I removed my child from this so-called daycare before he could even finish his prepaid week. If you want the full experience, please read on--this may save another parent time, money, and potentially their child's well-being. Over the four weeks my 5-year-old son attended this childcare/summer camp, I observed a clear disconnect between the front desk staff--who were kind and professional--and what actually happens in the back rooms. Unfortunately, it seems they hire unqualified, undertrained staff with no teaching credentials, and in many cases, little concern for the children. During the first week, I made two simple requests: do not refill my son's water bottle with sink water (as he won't drink it), and please keep me updated on his day. Neither request was followed. His water was not replaced with what I provided, and I received no updates. In the second week, my son was scratched across his face by another child. No incident report was filed. I only found out through his cousin who also attends the facility. By the third week, my son was kicked in his private area by an older child who should never have been grouped with 5-year-olds. Again, no report, no call. When I asked about it, I was told they were "still investigating." There was still no update going into the fourth week. On pickup during week four, I found my son visibly upset. He told me he wasn't allowed to use his tablet because he answered a math question incorrectly. Instead, he had to sit and watch other children use theirs. These are staff members with no teaching credentials, yet they are using punitive and inappropriate methods for learning. As a nurse, I understand that children learn differently--this approach is not only ineffective, it's discouraging. For $170 a week, my child had a miserable experience that resulted in emotional distress and even required doctor visits. No parent should have to deal with this. Please do your research before enrolling your child here.

My daughter has been attending Foothills since kindergarten. She will be entering fourth grade next…read moreyear. As someone who also attended grade school in Las Vegas, this is easily one of the best institutions in Nevada. The teachers, administrators, and school culture are extremely kind, professional, and knowledgable of the Montessori way. When my daughter was struggling, there was an entire team ready and available to create an academic support plan to meet her where she needed to be met. It worked! Thanks to the schools diligence, communication, and teamwork, she was able to show immense improvement in very little time. Ms. Dana, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Adrian, and Ms. Marion ... I mean I could just go on about the community here, parents included! We feel so safe dropping her off in the hands of such incredible people. Highly recommend!
