Took my daughters here for a "spa" day for them. Neither one had ever had acrylic nails before so I knew this would be a learning experience for them. My younger daughter had a great experience. My older special needs daughter did not. She didn't know the shapes of nails, and asked for examples, which she never got to see and was made to feel stupid for asking. The nail tech ended up fussing at her because she change her mind on the shape (she said square initially because she didn't know what that meant, then changed it to rounded). I guess he was irritated because he had to file down the nails after the fact. She even tried to explain to him about getting stars and moons on her nails, which he didn't understand, so she just got stars. I would have addressed all of this while we were there if I had known about it at the time, but on top of this, some of her nails are crooked, which for a normal person is a bit irritating, but for someone who is special needs and massively OCD, this is HUGE. I don't tell people that my daughter is special needs, because I want her to be treated normally, but for this experience, to say we are very disappointed is an understatement. What could have been a great experience, turned into something she never, ever wants to do again. Very sad. read more

My friend and I found this place on the search for a good pedicure! The pricing here is pretty decent, we did their $40 spa package, but they start off at $25. We came yesterday, on a Thursday afternoon around 0230p & it was just the two of us. The two men who did our pedicures happened to be the owners as well. I really like the person who did mine, I forgot to ask for his name. He was very detail oriented and took his time, which I really appreciated. I opted for the gel pedicure which I'm assuming is $15 additional. Four stars because we both wanted white toes, and the color wasn't pure or solid white? It's more like a milky white-greyish color, which is a little disappointing. We didn't realize it til we both got home. I didn't want to make a big deal about it since we already left the place, next time I'll just have to pay better attention. The absolute best mani and pedi I've had in years! How have I not found this place before now? Jose's leg/foot massage is out of this world and I'd pay just for that, for real. But then I got Kim for my nails and I do an unusual colored tip gel and she was so thorough and detailed and unrushed, that sealed the deal. Either of these services I got today would have brought me back but BOTH being outstanding with two different people was super impressive and way above the norm I've grown accustomed to around here. Then I elected to get a pedicure, and I got the deluxe pedicure with Juan. Juan Again took his time didn't rush and the massage part of it was amazing. Kevin!! This dip mani was insane! I loved it and it lasted for so long! These nails were some of the best I've ever had: thin, strong, and absolutely perfectly shaped. I didn't love my color, but that was my fault for not speaking up sooner - I didn't really understand that the color was just *the color* and nothing was going to change in the filing or polishing. They were like, barbie pink! But I loved them so much I didn't even care. Kevin was able to get me in same day, and he was so friendly and fun to talk to. He did a fantastic job on my dip. I'd never done dip before this, but since this mani I've gotten dip nails at other places, but they weren't as good as Kevin's. I enjoyed getting to visit with him and hear a little more about his story. From the Yelp reviews, it's clear his clients adore him, and once you get to meet him you understand why. So I tried this place recently and they were very friendly! I had a pedicure done and wasn't impressed at all. I left with my feet in the same condition I came in with. It just wasn't really a pedi for the health of my feet. Colors chosen didn't match what they actually had and was asked to change it twice, which is ok just stating my experience. It's a nice enough place but when I spend my money I really want to be fully satisfied with my entire experience but more so with the service I can in for. I usually don't leave reviews but my experience was so terrible I just have to tell people about it. The pictures provided were taken within THREE days of me getting a pedicure and fill. My nails broke from me scratching my back. I was literally scratching my back and they broke so easily. My experience while I was there was so terrible, they rushed me through. The guy rushed through my fill and made my nails uneven and some were slender, some were not, it was a mess. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. I just got a response from the owner saying my nails were short and thin to begin with but doesn't a fill add acrylic? He never once told me that the gel would be too much on my nails or I never would have done it. So if he did the fill right then my nails should not have been thin anymore. So I took the liberty and added a picture of my nails which are quite long actually and not thin at all. The owner tried to blame me for him messing up my nails. I get a fill all the time and that never happens. I called and he told me I would have to pay and was very rude to me. Terrible way to run your business. read more

I do not even know where to start. It was the best pedicure and massage I have ever had and best nails ever. After 3 visits, I no longer need a tip (unless a nail fell off). I have never had this before!. The process preparing my nails for a fill is so different. They did not use long soaks in acetone or foil for me. It was very kind on my hands. My nails lasted 4 weeks. Prices are reasonable. My daughter who lives in NYC and pays NYC prices was impressed, with the quality of work and of course the price...who wouldn't be if paying NYC prices? lol. Thank god for Kevin. My endless search for a perfect mani is over. I am picky! Ask him. But also I feel like I just was going to the wrong places for over 15 years. So many places just don't care. And it's shocking! You think with all the nail salons out there more places would care to give you work they are proud of, but it's not the case I guess! Anyways, Kevin is a great business man! He is very welcoming and professional and dedicated to making sure I leave happy. If I'm not, I'm totally comfortable telling him to fix a thing or two (but this is rare because he pays attention to detail). I always felt like a terrible person at my other salon of 15 years if I wasn't satisfied! So I really appreciate the open and kind attitude Kevin has towards his customers!
