He ended up having an ear infection. They gave meds but told me that the pup will not be welcome back unless we go to the vets friend at the behavioral clinic and my 7 month old puppy would need to be medicated. I ended up spending $700 dollars on tests that were presented as needed, when just one $50 test was all that was necessary to reveal the most likely culprit before moving on to the further testing. I understand them wanting to do what is deemed best for a pet but not everyone's in a position to afford large bills. My cat would have been just fine if they waited to see what initial essential testing revealed before doing additional tests.

She was kinda quiet? I said appt is with Alyssa B. She walks in the back. I'm still at the counter. She's talking with Alyssa B as this is the first time I've seen her. I hear Alyssa B say, "she canceled yesterday. I got a note, put another DOG in the spot!!" I respond, "excuse me . . . I called back to see if the appointment was still available and was told I was in lucky! It was still on the schedule." Alyssa looked at me. Eye contact - took her right hand and closed the door! I sat waiting, then decided HELL NO! Only an unruly teenager acts like that! Not a professional! My question, if she could treat me so rudely- would you trust her grooming your Fur Baby? I will NEVER as in NEVER EVER go there again! Not a call from anyone to apologize? I've always been extremely generous with tips, I've also left snacks! Today, Kristina texted me asking that I pick up my dog in 15 minutes. I arrived exactly 15 minutes later. Instead of meeting me outside as usual, there was no answer at the door. I waited several minutes while hearing my dog and another dog barking nonstop inside. I knocked and repeatedly called her name with no response. Because the door was unlocked and she knew I was arriving at that exact time, I became genuinely concerned for her safety and entered the home. I continued calling her name while standing in the doorway and while going down to the basement grooming area to retrieve my dog. I received no response the entire time. I then walked back upstairs through the kitchen and living room, still calling her name, until Kristina appeared wearing headphones and smoking a cigarette. Kristina became upset that I had entered her home. I explained my concern and believed we left on acceptable terms. However, shortly after returning home, I noticed I had been blocked by Lotus Paws Grooming on Facebook. A friend who posted a review describing the incident and my mother--who asked about grooming licensing--were also immediately blocked. I also attempted to leave a Google review but was unable to do so, as the business is not listed on Google. Given the blocking that followed, this appears to be intentional and prevents customers from leaving public feedback. The home and basement grooming area had a strong cigarette smell and was not clean. This may be a concern for pet owners who expect a clean, smoke-free environment. While the grooming itself has previously been satisfactory, this was a negative and concerning experience. The events that occurred today, the condition and environment in which dogs are being groomed, and the way concerns were handled afterward raise serious issues. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning or recommending this business to others.

The vet did an xray ($350) and told me there was nothing in her throat. She prescribed antibiotics but she was getting worse. I called the office for two days and they would not pick up the phone. Finally my husband went to the office and told the lady that Mia was very sick. They did not want to see her. Prescribed another medication WITHOUT SEEING HER and told us not to bring her in!!! To take her to MedVet. We did right away but she passed on our way there. I BLAME Emerald. After we got home I left a message to let them know that Mia had passed. They didn't have the courtesy to call be back. SHAME ON THEM!!! DONT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE!!! THEY DONT CARE!!!

What a wonderful medical group! They are VERY accommodating (my husband and I have tricky…read moreschedules, and our pets have a LOT of special needs) and efficient, but that is not what makes them so special. The doctors, vet techs, vet assistants, groomers, and even the people in reception are warm and friendly and CARING, especially Holly, Mel B. (Our kitty Reggie is in LOVE with her!) and Drs. Walker and Mitzi. They all listened to our questions and concerns, and they treated us with kindness and patience. It is clear that they wanted us to understand every part of the appointment, and they made sure to get our informed consent about entry procedure or treatment. And the way they treat our kitties? Amazing. After every appointment, they called us "just to check in with how the patients are doing". You can really tell that they love animals. On a sad note, we recently lost out 16 year-old cat to cancer (he was being treated by an amazing oncologist at MedVet, by the way). When we had him put to sleep at Medvet (see my other review for THAT horror story), the folks at Bartels and Busack sent us condolences and a sympathy card even though they were not the ones who euthanized him. Their tech, Vince, was especially sympathetic and compassionate. Thank you for the comfort, B and B.

You'll also wait 30 minutes to see a doctor every time you go there. Why don't they just adjust their appointment times? Don't know. You'd think they'd provide top tier service with the prices they charge.
