I had a very good experience the first time I took my car to Creech about 3 or 4 years ago. They did what I asked them to do at a fair price. No upselling. The second time, not so much. I took my Subaru in and they diagnosed the problem as an intermittent clutch safety switch. I gave consent to have them replace the switch. Now it acts like the safety switches have no function, like they were simply bypassed. I can start the car without depressing the clutch, which I believe is illegal and would fail inspection, not to mention dangerous. I certainly can't sell the car until it is fixed properly. Now I have to take the car back in, which is very inconvenient to say the least. I wish they would have spent a few minutes to test the clutch safety function after the "repair." They did manage to find time to look for and suggest unnecessary maintenance like replacing the spark plugs (which had just been replaced), changing the differential oil (which had just been changed), and replacing the timing belt (which had already been replaced). read more

Honest and thorough. My first experience was bringing in my car for a parking break issue - they checked the car, turned out to be a bolt that needed tightening. No charge for the visit, when I at least expected to pay for the labor. We bring all our of cars to them for all regular maintenance. Never an issue and always up front - even have recommended other options when a request I have made was outside their scope (rearviewmirror mount repair). Bought a very used car and mobile mechanic said it need tie rods replaced so I dropped it off at Creech. My first used car so I've always used the new car dealerships in the area for my past services. Communication was courteous and professional. Steven was my main contact and mechanic. As requested he performed a pre purchase inspection and called me with his findings. He had the cost for repair for each item and gave me an accurate time estimate when he could have it completed. I think they even washed my car! This is the first time I felt I should leave a tip as he performed a lot of work on my car, but I did not have any cash. I went to Creech recently for some regular maintenance. They were kind and very helpful! I will say, take a look at your manual and know what you really need. They tried to tell me I should get an oil change after 5,000 miles when my car manual specifically says I only need to do it every 10,000 with the right synthetic oil. They weren't pushy, but if I hadn't looked it up right then and there, they would've convinced me. If you're knowledgeable about it all though, you should be set! The prices seem fair, definitely comparable to what I've paid elsewhere. Also, they offer a deal where you get your 5th oil change free. So if you're planning to be here a while, it's a good sell. read more

I am very appreciative of the great work they do at Creech's. I'm not from the area, but have an older car that's been wearing down over the years and they've been super helpful. They make sure to take care of my car and ensure I know everything that is going on. They communicate through everything and never try to make you do something that isn't vital to the care of the care. I have been to them now to replace my battery and starter and fix an oil leak. I also needed my catalytic converter replaced, but due to the circumstances they were willing to refer me to a shop that specialized in them. First Class All the Way! Couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism, service and reasonable prices. They have simply figured out how to do everything right from their clean/comfortable waiting area (complete with complementary soda/coffee/snacks) to prompt return of calls/emails to speedy/skilled service. This is not like a typical dealer service experience where your car sits in the lot for hours before they even start on it. I also never experienced any type of"up selling" that dealers are famous for. As my car is still under warranty, I wanted to make sure the warranty was not voided in any way by bringing it to Creech. Creech Import is the epitome of "Customer Service"!! I had a mechanic [who recently retired] I used for over 15 years who was very good, cheap and had integrity. It is extremely difficult to find a an "honest" mechanic these days, who will make you feel "valued" as a customer. I searched on Yelp "Top Rated Honda/Toyota" mechanic and Creech Import Repair popped up. I read some of the reviews and decided to call them last Thursday. Steven answered and was very patient; listening intently to what my problems were. Oh, did I mention he was also kind? He scheduled me for yesterday [11/15] to service my 2008 Honda Accord. Cameron called me a few hours later to explain what they found. Although it was an expensive repair, I must say I thought they did an "Immaculate" job on my car. They are currently working on my 2001 Toyota truck today. I believe I have found an "Honest" Mechanic again. read more

I was hearing rod-knocking on my '92 Supra, convinced the engine was shot. Though I was devastated, I was prepared to pay for engine repair or swap (I love this baby!). These guys checked it out and said "you don't need a new engine". They found I was just missing a crankshaft bolt. The thing I like best about Creech is that when I go in and tell them to check it out and tell me what I need, I don't feel any need to get a second opinion because they are not only honest about what they find, but they also tell me if it's urgent, if it can wait, or if it's just a result of a car aging and I should leave it alone. This is my second trip to Creech with my 2005 Honda Element. Short answer: These guys go above and beyond. Steven at Creech helped me identify a rattling I heard when I accelerated: broken transmission mount. He also sent me a list of other things the car could use. Yes, a lot of mechanics try to shove extra work down your throat, but I was aware the car could use some TLC. Steven took the time to call me and give me a clear description of each item and what was going on. Usually I work on my car if it doesn't require a lift. I watched some youtube videos on how to repair the things we discussed and quickly understood why the price was what was quoted. Watching those videos also helped me as I checked over the car to see that they did what they claimed. Everything was perfect and just like the first time, they did a great job. For the amount of work they put in, the price is great and I can not recommend them enough. Took all the stress away. I tell all of my friends with Toyotas and Hondas to go to Creech. read more

Now with me being a previous mechanic at a dealership, this place is nice and they are informative. They are not pushy with service nor have up sale service like the deal. Example, come in for brake job and leave with new rotors and brake system flush. A nice added feature is that they have an entertainment room with 50" tv and lazy boy, sofa then a guest office with computer and business room as well with wifi. Cost half the dealership. I went for transmission flush and it was $160 less then the dealership. I found my car care people! read more

I highly recommend Creech Auto Repair. I needed AC work done on my vehicle. They did an estimate for me around Labor Day of last year. They told me that since it would be turning cooler to wait till the spring and that they would honor the price. I came back six months later to have it repaired. The repair actually ended up being less than the estimate! They could've insisted I do the repair right away to get my money. They could've charged me the entire price of the estimate. They didn't. With two young kids I'm on a tight budget so if I can save a little money that really makes me happy. They were honest and that goes a long way with me. They recently figured out a difficult problem I had with the heating system on my 2005 Infinity and that was more than what the Infinity dealership had been able to do. We have all older imports (two Acuras, a Honda and a Toyota) and take all our vehicles there. We also have two teenagers who always seem to have something wrong and somehow don't know how it happened. They are really good about diagnosing the problem quickly and calling us with the quote so that we can approve the work ahead of time before they do it. They also stand behind their work. They fixed something on one of our cars and the problem came back a few days later and I drove it right back to the shop. They realized it was a bad part and they took it right in ahead of everything else, fixed it and apologized even though the part being bad wasn't their fault. I just wanted it fixed and they did. My husband and I are always really happy with their work and feel like we can trust them and sometimes you don't feel that way with mechanics. read more

A great, honest, professional repair shop. My daughter is a college student in Raleigh and have used this shop twice. Both times all work was thoroughly explained and they only performed the service needed. They even called us in New York to explain what the repairs entailed before doing any work. My husband and I moved here last year and were dreading having to find a reputable shop with people that won't take advantage of you. I was told to check out Creech by a co-worker. Another plus was they are right up the street from the eye center where I work. My husband and I both went there for our inspections. Great service and very fair. The real plus factor for me was my car was running hot this morning & I called them and asked could I bring it by at lunch for them to check out, even though I didn't have an appointment. They were so kind to say yes. We found out the problem and they even added some coolant until I can make an appointment to have the problem fixed. I just appreciate them and their service.
