The metal chairs are hard on one's backside, and I imagine it's so there's quicker turnover since it's a smaller-sized cafe. You bus your own table into the plastic bins as you exit.

I started out my search for Starbucks themed sugar cookies, and Stephanie came highly recommended by several people in our community. Upon finding out she did cakes, I mentioned to my daughter in law that she could maybe do a cake, and she contracted with her to do so. The cookies were delicious, as was the cake. It's hard to find someone to make anything with the Starbucks logo, which we completely understand. Who wants to get sued by Starbucks, right? So, she agreed to make the cookies shaped like coffee cups with coffee decor; and she nailed it. She also made a frappuccino cake (standing) - and offered to drive up when me met for pick up because it was sliding, and she wanted to be sure it was going to make it to the party; and also do do some touch ups on the decorating. Stephanie and her family drove from Novato to Santa Rosa and delivered the cake. It was an expensive cake. $120.00 ... and about twenty minutes or so after she left the room, we all left to play laser tag; upon returning, we saw that the top half of the cake was gone, it slipped off and fell behind the table. :/ I did send Stephanie a photo of the cake. There were also misspellings on the cookies of the word "coffee" that I didn't notice until after the cake fell apart. Let me say, it was delicious!!! The cake was melt in your mouth moist, the icing was delicious and the cookies were too!!! I know that there was a family emergency two days before our order was due; and stress can have a negative effect on all of us. I would recommend her to others, I mean, baking is a constantly evolving process and my Granddaughter hates fondant; so that was all buttercream icing on a standing cake, instead of a sheet cake shaped like a cup of coffee. While most of the staff at Creekside Bakery were kind and considerate, one employee completely undermined the experience. Despite us clearly waiting in line, he ignored us and chose to assist a customer who arrived after we did. To make matters worse, he remained standing at the register while we continued waiting and only acknowledged us after we had to call him over ourselves. When he finally approached, his attitude was noticeably dismissive. He was slow to respond, lacked basic courtesy, and repeatedly required prompting to answer simple questions. The interaction felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, especially considering that we had done nothing more than wait our turn. Fortunately, another staff member stepped in afterward, assisted us in Spanish, and apologized for the situation. His kindness and professionalism helped salvage an otherwise disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but it started with an "M." He deserves recognition for the customer service he provided. No customer should have to be overlooked, ignored, or treated with indifference after patiently waiting in line. Management should address this employee's conduct to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. read more

Creekside Bakery is such a great spot. We tried several items, and everything was delicious. The coffee was good--slightly on the stronger side, but very enjoyable. From the bakery case, we had a coconut biscuit, which was absolutely amazing, and the almond croissant, which was light, fluffy, and full of flavor. For food, we ordered the French onion soup grilled cheese sandwich, and it was excellent. The caramelized onions added so much flavor and made the sandwich extra comforting. We also tried their breakfast sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. Overall, this is a really great bakery and café with delicious food, tasty pastries, and good coffee.
