The only reason I returned to get my dental work done was because I had a pleasant experience with the dentist both times before, and I needed the work completed before going out of town. However, I should have listened to my instincts and found another dentist. I'm not going to go into detail yet because I have to come back for a follow-up, but after that, I'll share everything--so brace yourselves.

I am disabled and on GA Medicaid. I get $822 a month to live on. GA Medicaid shows this practice as a provider. I filled out all of the new patient paperwork online and on the day of my appt had to pay $534 for the initial exam and a 3D scan. There is absolutely no need for this scan! I had medical CT scans done at the hospital just days before!! I was told "this is how our Dr likes to see it". I had noted on my intake paperwork that I'm allergic to penicillin, also went over it with the nurse and the DR. So during my exam I was told I would need to wire my jaw shut for 6-8 weeks but that was it, he told me there wasn't enough space/bone to do a plate. They brought me a bill of over 8k stating they don't take Medicaid and I should have known that from speaking with my regular dentist (once again even Medicaid has them listed as a provider)! First it's your job to explain financial obligations to your patients not another office! Once I was on your books it became your responsibility to contact me and make sure I understood that you didn't accept Medicaid and everything would be out of pocket! Next they were "nice" enough to give me a copy of the 3D scan...yes they did use that phrase...but I tried to use it at two other places and they told me it was USELESS, just a way for this office to make money. The place I ended up getting treatment/surgery needed the scans from the hospital not a 3D scan that I was forced to get and spend money I didn't have. That brings me to the next issue. Even with a 3D scan this Dr completely missed that I had a second break in my jaw. When I saw the xrays it was so obvious that I pointed it out!! How did this Dr miss something so obvious an untrained eye could see it?? If I had gone through the treatment suggested here I would have been in so much agony due to the second break not being addressed. That brings me to the last complaint...as I said earlier I'm allergic to penicillin. I was so upset at the end of this appt realizing I had spent $534 for nothing that I didn't look at the prescriptions he gave me till I got to my car. He had prescribed me penicillin! I notified the office and was told someone would call me back. It has now been over 2 weeks and nobody has called me about it. Obviously if they called me back it would be admitting they did something wrong, this office is negligent from the time you walk in the door. I ended up having to get two plates in my jaw, crazy that another Dr had enough room to do it but this office couldn't...

As if that is not bad enough, his lack of concern for his patients is unacceptable. During an out-of-town trip, I called his office and requested a series of antibiotics and pain meds for an abscess he apparently missed two weeks prior when I was in his office for my 6 month cleaning, exam and X-rays. I contacted his office upon learning he failed to call in anything for pain. At which time I was apprised Dr. Hair indicated the pain should become more tolerable in 3-4 days once the antibiotic began taking affect. It seemed to be of no concern to Dr. Hair my level of discomfort for the next 3-4 days. Discomfort I was forced to contend with because of his negligence. I told the office my family nor me would be patients of a Doctor with no regard for his patients suffering. Dr. Hair continued to show the lack of concern and the inferior level of care he afforded his patients as I, a very well established 4-5 year patient, NEVER HEARD FROM DR. HAIR OR HIS OFFICE AGAIN! Dr. Hair is an narcissistic, egocentric, know it all (a.ka. NEK) dentist content to let me suffer rather then admit an oversight and help alleviate the pain I would never have gone through if not for HIS mistake. All of this when he had the X-ray revealing the absess thus proof of my discomfort. I can see how he missed the absess considering his penchant for non-stop talking about himself. I would surmise it difficult to remain focused and talk non-stop evident by his oversight. I am of the opinion Dr. Hair has questionable business practices and ethics, which might explain why it appears he moves around a lot from practice to practice and city to city.

My son had a consultation with Dr. Reynaldo Reese on June 1 regarding impacted tooth #30. During…read morethe consultation, Dr. Reese reviewed the X-rays taken at his office and explained that the procedure would involve cutting the gum and using a chain to help guide the tooth. I specifically asked whether the procedure was extensive enough to require anesthesia, and he advised that my son should be fine with local anesthesia/laughing gas. At no point during that consultation was I told that my son needed bottom brackets/braces in place before the procedure could be done. After the consultation, I followed the office's instructions, waited for insurance approval, and scheduled the procedure. On the day of the appointment, the front desk staff was very kind and helpful, especially Megan, who assisted with getting us scheduled sooner. However, after my son was taken to the back, laughing gas was started, numbing cream was applied, and I was sent to the waiting room believing the procedure was underway. Shortly after, staff came out and asked whether I knew my son did not have bottom braces. I confirmed that I was aware, as his orthodontist was waiting for his teeth to come in and baby teeth to shed. I was then brought to the back and informed that the procedure could not be done because bottom brackets were needed for the chain to attach. While I understand if that is medically necessary, this should have been clearly explained during the consultation before my child was brought in and prepped for a procedure. When I addressed this with Dr. Reese, he became dismissive instead of acknowledging the oversight. As we were leaving, he stated, "If you don't like it, don't come back." For the owner of the practice to respond that way was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I requested a refund and my son's records. The overall experience was frustrating, avoidable, and upsetting. The front desk staff was pleasant, but the communication and professionalism from Dr. Reese were unacceptable.

Uses unreliable sources for crowns - that's just the tip of the berg-I have two unmatched front teeth and they offered no help or care to fix what they knew was messed up- by them. They just want to see money up front. My husband has gone to dr camp for several years - had great results for many years. Then last year- Then they did a crown on a tooth that had no problems and he was actually only supposed to get a filling when he went that day. Placed a crown on a tooth that was no where near the one he needed replaced. We both are still in disbelief at the way this place has been the last few years.
