The entire staff is so nice and genuine, they make going to the dentist a pleasant experience (I know, how is that possible?!). My first appointment was an initial check-up, but I had a cavity that was bothering me and they squeezed me in same day, right after my check up. I didn't have to wait weeks to be fit in, they filled the cavity right then. This is now our go-to family dentist, I cannot recommend this office enough!

So, I went with a different dentist (as this was grossly negligent to wait for the day before to tell me). But this also caused problems because they already charged for the check up ( every X-ray allowed as well) so after paying for this partial I have nothing left to see another dentist for a check up (I know I have 2 cavities) but cannot get those fixed till next year. Multiple BILLING ISSUES: I've been a patient at Atlanta West Dentistry for over five years…read more Initially, I was very pleased with their services the staff seemed professional, the reviews were great, and the dental work met my expectations. However, over time, I've encountered multiple ongoing billing issues that have ultimately led to my decision to leave this practice. One of the main issues involved overcharges of hundreds of dollars, primarily by front desk staff (specifically Hailey). These discrepancies were only corrected after I contested the charges using my Explanation of Benefits (EOB). While I appreciated that some credits were eventually applied to my account, these errors continued to occur raising serious concerns about accuracy and transparency. Even after addressing previous issues, the same pattern repeated. I strongly recommend that anyone receiving treatment here carefully review their EOBs and compare them to what they are being charged out-of-pocket. On one occasion, I was told I had fillings done on both tooth #2 and #5, yet I clearly remember work being done only on tooth #2. Despite voicing this, I was still billed for both. When I requested clarification, Robin attempted to explain the charges, but they still did not align with what was billed to my insurance provider. This experience has not only been frustrating but has also led me to question the integrity of some of the billing and treatment practices. It's deeply disappointing after years of being a loyal patient. As a result, I will no longer be returning to Atlanta West Dentistry, and I will be transferring the care of my entire family elsewhere. I'm also advising anyone I previously referred to this practice to check their billing statements closely or consider other options. I hope this review serves as a helpful warning for others to be vigilant and protect themselves from potential overcharges or miscommunication. Everything looks great and I suppose is intended to be impressive with all the latest tech etc. but when a customer experiences as many issues, mishaps, lack of communication, etc. as I have, then none of that matters. I would encourage the office to focus on the level of service provided to your customers and a little less on having all the latest gizmos. Anyone that believes any of that matters while delivering the poorest customer experience ever (what a title to inherit) is sadly mistaken. I literally picked the office due to the glowing reviews but I would advise anyone who likes to avoid hassle and headache to absolutely stay away. Involving the office manager has not seemed to have made the least bit of difference either. I cannot wait for my treatment to be done (IF that EVER happens) so I can find somewhere else in a hurry. The ONLY thing they have done well is to accept payment and it was all downhill after that.

Paying only my deductible is more manageable than covering large bills in advance, especially for specialized treatments. I'd like to know why this change was made--are insurance payments delayed or reduced? If up-front payments remain required, I may need to find another provider, as I pay monthly premiums expecting to pay just my deductible, as agreed with my insurance company.
