This is a GREAT addition to King George County!! They offer a good selection of beers, flavored seltzers and more recently slushees. They make donuts fresh that you can buy in a box of 6, super yummy especially when still warm. The Owen's and staff are always very friendly and helpful when it comes to selecting a drink. The place has ample parking, fun stuff for kids (to include goats)) and a relaxing beautiful farm like atmosphere. You can catch live bands, trivia or even karaoke. Must visit if in the area.

She always remembers us and provides exceptional and personal service. This past weekend, we went to the Ice House to celebrate our engagement and they gave us a bottle of champagne and wonderful recognition. Along with the live music that they regularly have. They also have good food like burgers and even better wine slushies. The ambiance is super cool - Jimmy Buffet Tropical Café meets Virginia. 1000% recommend if you're in CB!

The wings were good, though the sauce was drizzled on rather than fully tossed. Cons:The fries were just okay. Despite staying to enjoy the live music, our wings and fries were served in to-go containers, and we weren't provided plates--expected to eat straight from the boxes, even though plates were clearly available behind the bar. Beer and cider selections were also more limited than expected. Overall: The venue has a great atmosphere, live entertainment, and decent wings, but the limited drink selection and the inconvenience of eating from to-go containers indoors significantly affected the overall experience. Therefore, I need to give this one a 3 out of 5.

We were here earlier than usual (10:30 am, don't judge me for drinking before noon!!!) and we're the only customers. It's uniquely located at a camp ground, but parking is a bit limited. The tasting room is small but has amble seating. There was a piano in the tasting room and no one was at the tasting room when we entered. My daughter who is a beginner pianist, wanted to play. Since there were no signs on the piano that forbid people touching, she went ahead and played. Then an older gentleman came in and told us in a stern tone that the piano is not for playing. He was not friendly at all and even after we apologized and ordered a flight for sampling, he still was not engaging. I'm not sure if he is the brew master or just someone works for the campsite store, but he didn't seem too happy to be there. We had the 2 stouts, an Amber, and pilsner on tap for our flight. They were all just OK. We didn't want to order more because his attitude and the sense that we were not welcomed there... Which was too bad because it was a nice space with plenty of outdoor seating, a playground in the back for kids to play while parents enjoy some refreshing beer. We will most likely not go back again given the cold-shoulder treatment.

The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the other guests (mostly regulars) made for great company! Powers only serves beer, but they do have a food truck rotation that comes through, so make sure to check their website before visiting to find out what's being served that day. The beer selection is decent and has something for everyone's taste. There is plenty of indoor seating and just as much outdoor seating, so you won't have to worry about standing up the whole time even when it's busy. Outside they have a Corn Hole setup and they also had a soccer ball you could kick around if you wanted to. To add to the outdoor ambiance, there was also a chicken coop that you could walk up to and look at. Also, if you're around during the evening, they might get the bonfires going! One of favorite parts about our visit was being able to enjoy my porter outside by the bonfire. All-in-all, it was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a visit if you're ever out in Midland, VA or just won't to do something outside the city if you're in the DMV area.
