I would not recommend Creekside to families or longer stays. You can see my full review on Trip Advisor as well as another family that stayed when I did, but to keep it short, read all the terms and conditions (make sure you understand it because not all staff here does) and only stay here if you have a straightforward, simple booking. It's a decent park but I'm shocked that we were quoted over $4000 for two months in the summer! You can go 12 miles up the road to tranquility lakes and pay $850 off-season which includes electric and really good Wi-Fi, great amenities and a beautiful gym! sorry, but we refuse to pay those prices! read more

This is not your everyday resort! We enjoyed the spacious site as well as the amenities- from a beautiful clubhouse and pool to the plethora of activities. The well-kept and safe grounds lent to making friends and enjoying our two months there. The staff was extraordinary and all questions or needs were addressed and communicated efficiently. We have always loved Creekside! Unfortunately the 2024 was a real eye opener and a disappointment for us. 1. The owners unjustly fired the entire staff upon completion of the season (with the exception of the owners family). Including two managers that were loyal and dedicated to the owners. They brought the resort up from the ground. Tirelessly brought the resort back from the devastation of the hurricane. Continuously implemented and enforced the owners rules and regulations knowing they would have to continuously answer to the unsatisfied guests. 2. The owners have out priced the resort's amenities. Small pool, Not enough pickleball courts, landscaping and pavers need attention. The "wow" factor is gone. 3. I called regarding the 2025 season. I was told they won't rent a site for a two month stay, only three or more (knowing full well several sites where open for this before we left) Because of these three major reasons, we have decided to go elsewhere. read more

we stayed there the past 2 years ('22 and '23) but won't go back. the landscapers don't do a good job, and the WiFi is spotty. they advertise that they have a gym but the bikes don't work and the treadmill and stair stepper are old and tired. a repair person was in last year while we were using the facility and told us the equipment is about 25 years old. the owners and managers don't care about the people staying there. it's all about the money to them. there are plenty of other options in the area that you should check out. read more

This low rating is because of the staff. The park is well kept. Clean wash rooms and restrooms. Wi-Fi in the park was not working and was told it was an issue with equipment. Was also told they never said they would provide. False. It was in the brochure. Park rates have drastically went up and that led us to leaving. Also the fact they wanted anyone staying at park to sign a paper stating they would not talk badly about the park... or you may would have legal recourse against you. So much for 1st amendment. The staff in office for the most part are nice and helpful. One that works in office is Not! Rude and disrespectful. Before we left last year, air traffic was extremely noisy and the building of a distribution center across the street brought an unwanted noise level. This park is located right off the 75. So your also going to deal with that noise. In summary, do your research and read what others have posted. read more

The grounds were very well maintained and attractive. We liked the location and enjoyed an hour in the hot tub one evening. We were very disappointed that there was no internet service. When my husband asked about it, it was sloughed off an unimportant. We have a booster that we wanted to try but we were told it was not permitted. read more

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites have quite a bit of room and are well maintained. This is a newer park so the shade trees haven't filled in but the landscaping is very pretty. The people who work there are very helpful. The residents are very friendly and inclusive towards those, like us, who were staying a shorter time. We would stay there again for sure. If you like beautiful settings, wide generous spaces for RVs this resort may be the right one for you! This is a beautiful park! But...you must also enjoy the directly overhead airplanes taking off and landing that are so loud that the conversation must be stopped momentarily. These take off's begin about 6am and go all day from the Punta Gorda airport which is a little less than 2 miles away! The stock car races some Fridays and every Saturday evening are about 1-1.5 miles away and very noisy! There is highway noise from I75 and there is a shooting range in earshot from the resort that can wake you up, especially on Sunday morning for whatever reason. But the worst is the rats. The place is thick with them. They have gotten inside some RVs which is a very unpleasant surprise and have caused damage from chewing on cables, wires etc. in others! See picture below of one of the rats a friends dog caught! As far as activities go, the calendar is virtually empty except the regular activities that the guests organize themselves! The Valentine dance was scheduled this year and advertised as starting at 7pm and ending at 10pm. There was a $10/person charge paid ahead of time so Imagine everyone's surprise when it ended unexpectedly at 9pm with no explanation! There was a St. Patrick's Day dance scheduled that was simply cancelled with no explanation! There is a lake but unless you are staying on a lakefront site the only place that fishing is allowed is behind the clubhouse. If you are staying on a lakefront site, you can fish only directly behind your RV or behind the clubhouse. Walking around the lake to fish is not allowed. You must stay directly behind your RV! If you vary from this you will be reported and management may suggest that "maybe you don't belong here!" They have actually done that to a friend! Also, an aggressive dog that tried multiple times to attack our dog and others in the park with no provocation was reported. We simply asked that the dog be muzzled and we were promised that they would be told that but it was never done. We have chosen to move on. The prices are high and it is difficult to justify the cost for so little in return! read more

We stayed at Creekside rv resort in March. Let me first state that I am a "glamper" not a camper and very particular in the places we stay. Many campgrounds have the name "RV Resort" In it and are anything but a resort. Creekside is a resort plus more. There are many activities throughout the week with a clubhouse that is meticulously groomed, new, contemporary in appearance, extremely clean and air conditioned. The fitness center is the nicest I have seen in any "rv resort", the bathrooms (including the satellite bathhouses) are as clean as my own in my home, the pool, jacuzzi, and pickleball courts are very well kept up. Those of you that enjoy playing pickleball, there is a wonderful group that plays regularly. The management, Elise and Rick and office staff are extremely nice and always helpful and available. They run this resort as if It was their own property. If I were to change anything it would be to add more machines to the laundry facility and to lower the rates a bit as it is on the pricey side, though I guess you get what you pay for. The grounds are the nicest we have every stayed at. All sites are rather large (especially for Florida standards) with grass between each built with paver pads for the rv, picnic table and vehicle. The first section has a large man-made lake with a beautiful view. The town of Punta Gorda is also very nice and with good restaurants. We are looking forward to returning next year. read more

Stayed there for a while, office was always disorganized and rude! Got many emails saying we had mail, when we went to get it there was never any mail there. Received a bill three months late. Kept getting emails with management complaining about pets and laundry machines. Laundry machines are housed in different locations on premises, each machine location gives you a different amount of time for coins. Got charged for an extra month one time because of their disorganization. Got it straightened out but had to go through the hassle of dealing with issues. Never got an apology or explanation for why. If you're staying here for a few days or a weekend maybe even a week you might be OK. But for longer stays I would not recommend this resort. read more

We travel for work. My wife found this RV resort and we visited the next day. There are not enough words to positively describe the stay here. We have been here now for more than 3 months. Clean, quite, spacious, outstanding amenities, respectful staff (Elise, Rick, Charles, Shannon, etc). The shower house is awesome. Clean and private. The pool, wonderful. Workout facility top notch. Internet provided by the resort, exceptional. Now that may change when more people are there, but for now, holy cow! The summer rates are terrific. Haven't paid the winter rates yet, but they do go up significantly. Gated and secure. And the little lake that the resort surrounds even has alligators in it. The people staying there have been wonderful, as well. We have stayed at plenty of places around the US and Canada. This is by far the best. read more

We stayed at Creekside for the month of March into early April. Wonderful new resort with as much room as any park we've stayed at. The sites were all huge and we were tucked back by the trees which added to our privacy. Because it's new, most of the spaces have small trees and not a lot of shade yet but in Florida that will soon change. We hope to come back! read more
