I stopped for lunch and had a sautéed mushroom, spinach, and Swiss cheese crepe, a cranberry square, and a chai latte. The crepe and filling tasted very fresh, and I liked the seasoning in the crepe batter itself. The cranberry square was also very tasty with juicy berries. I ordered the chai latte because the shop is Indian-owned and I trusted them to deliver a high quality no-BS chai, and they didn't let me down. The drink had an authentic spicy taste, and if it was sweetened, it was only very lightly to let the flavour come through. It was also topped off with a really thick layer of froth which I just love. I added a sprinkle of cinnamon from the condiment station to finish it off. The look of the place may not be the most modern, but the big armchairs are still in very good condition and super comfortable. The fact that the interior looks like it's pulled from 15 years ago adds to the appeal for me, rather than the other way around.
