Stopped here for a quick before-flight meal and a selfie with a Jay Chou cutout. Best last-minute decision ever because these Chinese crepes/ jian bings were the best I've ever had outside of Asia. They seem to get a lot of takeout orders as the place itself only has around 5 small tables. The crepes were made-to-order but came out super quickly. We got Combo A with golden tuna crepe, tea egg, and soy milk; and Combo B with peking duck crepe, century egg Tofu Now soup, and tea egg. It seems our eyes were bigger than our stomachs because that was way too much food for breakfast. The crepes were rather large and we loved the crunchy texture and flavorful fillings of both of them. I was surprised to see a decent amount of veggies in them too. The favorite was the peking duck because it was more unique. The tea egg had a strong tea flavor without being too dry on the inside. Cute small tables, lots of seating and parking is easy enough to find on a weekday. Staff are busy with a steady stream of takeout orders but are polite and work quickly. For the crepes, I opted for the Golden Tuna and Peking Duck. Both were great! The fillings were yummy, and the nice 'eggy' flavour of these kinds of crepes was really prominent. Maybe between the two, the tuna crepe won me over just a little more. Just something about the corn, tuna and mayo combo, and there could have been just a little more hoisin sauce in the Peking duck. For snacks/appies, the "Tofu Now" with century egg was universally loved by my group. Think a suuuper soft, savoury tofu pudding packed with flavour. Its Chinese name is also quite funny, it literally translates to 'tofu brain', haha. The Grilled Squid was also nice, as long as you enjoy a strong cumin flavour and a little numbing spice. If you are not a fan of those, stick to other dishes instead. Finally, the soy milk here is so good!!! So worth upgrading to a combo for this. I had it cold, and my friend having it hot loved it too. It's a quick dish where you pick your raw ingredients in a bowl, then it's weighed and you pick your choice of soup base, sauces/toppings and noodles. Service is quick and not too busy. Payment is made at the end of the dish. It can be pricey as it's about $24/kg, so don't be surprised when your bowl of soup ends up being in the $20 range as noodles are an additional cost. read more

Tried their duck flavour crepes. It's horrible. Rarely any duck meat. Even regular bbq duck wrap is better. Their crepe is very oily and with a few ingredients only. Basically less meat. More sauce. The taste is decent however it is hard to go wrong with Chinese pancakes anyway. The key thing I want to point out is the waiting. They take a long time to make your order simply because they do not have enough man power cooking. Unfortunately it's not really designed to be English friendly so it's best if you speak & better if you can read Chinese. The English on the menu isn't the standard poor translations, it's literally wrong. Listing beef where there is pork, fish where there's beef, etc. Unless you want a server to walk you through everything or just do the random point and hope method it can be a pain. We tried the Japanese mayo with beef sausage and it was heavy but very tasty. Also got the Tea Egg + soy milk combo. Tea Egg wasn't marinated enough but the soy was great! If they can fix the menu, and sell out of things less (almost half the menu wasn't available), the place has real potential. read more

Taste bad. I've ordered beijing duck crepe, they only give me three small pieces. Also the crepe it self is falling apart.

Visited Vancouver and I have been hearing a lot about this place. so i thought I give this a try. Supposedly they have a promotion going on, which you wear either Black or a Winnie the Pooh t-shirt and tell me the secret code to get a free crepe. So, I walked in, gave the owner the secret code "I LOVE CANADA", and he looked at me and served me these cold hard pieces of stale pastry with questionable meat. The sauce, reeks of blood and sweat, and it is so disgusting that I have to ask the owner where the ingredients come from, and he dodges and ran back in the kitchen. Another waitress came out, and pretends to not speak a word of english. She keeps telling me "This is the best crap we make." She later told me, the secret code is "I LOVE CHINA". WTF. Super authentic Beijikg style crepe, taste exactly like what we used to have back in Beijing. It is a bit pricey totally worth it.
