Where do I even begin? I been coming to this establishment for over two years now. From the yummy sweet crepe confections to the delicious lattes it has always been a go to spot with friends for a quick bite to catch up, or satisfying a late night craving. These past few trips have not been worth it. New faces, burnt crepes, stingy on the ingredients, a lot of nasty attitudes from the workers there. For the price of all the crepes/lattes it's not worth dealing with the rude, impolite employees whom all need to learn appropriate customer service etiquette. Take the expression "hole in the wall" literally when used to describe this narrow slit of real estate. Either it just very recently sprung up or its owners are fastidious because the place was super shiny and fresh looking. With space to seat about 6-8 people total, it seemed like a quaint place for a few friends to gather. (Few really being the operative word.) However, I was perplexed that such a nice and cozy cafe was serving its customers with plastic utensils and plates that looked severely out of place. I wonder if they don't have the capital yet to invest in proper crockery. Actually, they probably just don't have space for a dishwasher. The savory crepes themselves were nothing stellar. The filling was something I could have prepared up at home myself with easily accessible ingredients (olives? check. feta cheese? check. pesto? etc). Thus, it's up to the crepe itself to try to make this place stand out and worth the visit. It was indeed fluffy and perfectly browned, but rather bland. I didn't taste a sweet crepe though so can't comment on how well it pairs with Nutella. But everything tastes good with Nutella so it's hard to imagine messing that up. Crepes are pretty light fare so after I polished it off and I was still a bit hungry, which is a rarity. Horrible customer service and delivery. We ordered one savory crepe and two coffees. The order never showed up. We called back in 40 mins and apparently the order wasn't placed. We reordered and the food still never showed up. We called the restaurant up and they claimed that the delivery guy is at our door. We just ended up canceling the order. It shouldn't take over 2 hours to make a crepe, a crepe that has just one ingredient. Disgraceful! Update- 2 hours later, after canceling the order, the delivery boy finally made it to our apartment. Went with my boyfriend, we ordered 3 sweet crepes. Ice Cream Crepe - Nutella, Banana, and Strawberry; PBJ Crepe, and Honey Crepe- Honey and Almond; the last two we got because we were feeling adventurous. We were attended by a young lady who was very nice and attentive. I think there is only two workers because one of them went on a couple deliveries while we were there. The cafe offers limited seating, but it has the cutest deco and making it worth it to sit in. You can't go wrong with the Nutella, Banana, and Strawberry I would totally recommend this one, however we did not like the last two as much. I ordered an Iced Chai which was good, but had too much ice, after drinking half, it was just ice and watered down chai. My husband and I went into crepe factory when we approached the business there were two women outside and it felt like we were interrupting them by entering the business. I said hello twice by the one that decided to assist us but got ignored both times. Right before she was done with the crepe I had asked if they had ice cream and she replied "it's an extra charge". Once I saw crepe factory, I knew I had to find a parking spot to have lunch. Place is small, one patron sitting with a coffee and his laptop and one girl behind the counter. She was friendly enough, I ordered my crepe and she was sweet enough to tell me to sit down and she will bring it to me. From where I was sitting it looked like they took a crêpe that was already made and just heated it up on the crêpe maker. The crêpe was fair at best and halfway through I found a short black hair. I'm giving this place three stars because the crepes are phenomenal. I ordered here 20+ times prior. This is the third time I had a delivery come late, but this time it had been 1hour and 30+ minutes since I ordered a delivery. I think that's absurd the lady told me they ran out of strawberries for the order. (1hr waiting already). The three stars are for the crepes being good if there was a customer service survey I'd put 1star. Just be honest and don't lie, I called and a man answered and told me crepe will be sent out in 10minutes. If I ordered something you didn't have in stock you should know and call me back and tell me, not have your customer wonder where his order is almost two hours long when it's a 5minute drive away.
