This cafe is super cute and the food and drinks are delicious. It wasn't very crowded and the customer service is great.

Loved it! Service was great and the coffee was delish! I got their signature latte which was an horchata kind of latte and it was yummy. Definitely will be back!

As a Chapina, I am always looking for Guatemalan spots to support. The coffee was amazing- I had their signature Reu latte. The food was ok- I had garnachas and my cousin has the Chapin breakfast. Loved the Guatemalan images on the wall. Would come back. Oh- and friendly service!

This place had been on my list to try since it first opened but it's a drive from where I live so when I was in the area I finally decided to give it a try. When I arrived it was very full, you could tell that a lot of the customers were returning customers. I was there for about an hour and people kept coming in. I ordered an iced Reu latte and an order of tostadas. The tostadas were delicious. And they were ready very quickly. The decor was very subtle but nice. They hav paintings of Guatemala and it's beautiful to get reminders of Guatemala.

I really enjoy seeing new cafes popping up. The fact this is Guatemala inspired coffee even better. They have coffees, lates, small bites and full plates. We ordered two to share between 4 adults and it was plenty. Parking is enough but can be chaotic as there are several business in the plaza. Coffees are delicious. Staff is helpful and attentive. You can go solo or with a group.

¡Mucha! The moment my cousin and I heard this new Guatemalan spot had popped up in his 'hood, we made plans to visit immediately (and we're so glad we did!). Not only is the food classic and delicious, the space feels like an original and welcomed take on "Chapin" vibes. Being that I am health conscious and working on some fitness goals currently, I was delighted to see the nutritious bagel options on the menu. My perfectly prepared egg + avocado selection and American coffee were an amazing way to start my day! I cannot wait to see the places Reu is headed.

I came here based of tik tok recommendation, my review is now based off my second time here. To start the place is very plain. I think for a Guatemalan inspired cafe it is very lackluster. They could use so much color and inspiration from Guatemalan roots. The menu was decent, for a small cafe/menu wait time is quite long. Prices moderately pricey. It's a good place to wind down for a bit but does get quite loud so I wouldn't come for a homework or work from home day. I wouldn't try it again to see if things have changed.

I'm only giving this a 4 out of 5 because I asked for over easy eggs and my yolk was cooked all the way in my eggs. So I was a little disappointed that I didn't have runny yolk. But other than that. I got the breakfast chapin to go. The beans are AMAZING !!!!! I can order just a tub of beans to go. I had mine with Bolio and bread was great not hard , plantains were amazing. Great Guatemalan food. When we first walked in we didn't know where to order we weren't greeted so assumed we had to order by ourselves on kiosk. Later to find out it was the foh kiosk and told us she places the order for us. That was the only tricky part. But once she helped us everything was good to go.

found this cafe through an instagram ad but glad i did. the parking lot is pretty tight and most of the spaces are very compact. there is not much seating inside and garnered more towards solo diners or groups of 2. the breakfast chapin was not too heavy and it left me satisfyingly full. i like guatemalan tortillas because of their thickness and also the way they make their beans is a lot more palatable since it feels more like a sauce or paste rather than actual beans. also saw that you are supposed to put the cream on the plantains/bananas, which made it taste more savory than sweet. as for the matcha, i preferred the maple cinnamon matcha over the el quetzal as it has a stronger matcha taste. the el quetzal was a little on the sweeter side with the vanilla cold foam on top.

This Cafe Is Small, but super cute. When we walked in this morning around 10 there restaurant was full, and everyone eating looking soo happy I struggled with what to order because everything looked soo good. I ordered the Guate Latte with Blue Cold Foam, it was delicious and sweet and very balanced, it had just the right amount of cinnamon. Did food I ordered the Tamale, it was sooo delicious . It was creamy rice based and the chicken and sauce was sooo good, it even came with bread. The workers were 100% a vibe and they answered the questions I had about the menu and gave me a few suggestions , I will be back soon for sure My Friend got the Shucu, and it was very good and filling He enjoyed his Rey Iced Latte

pretty pricey for the quality of food.

They've only been open for 2 weeks now. This place gets crowded fast and very easily. Because of the amount of foot traffic, it can be hard to find a table to sit at. The layout of this place is geared towards a coffee shop rather than a sit down restaurant. I ordered the Blue Cloud, Reu Latte, Breakfast Chapin and the Waffles + Eggs. I asked my eggs for the Breakfast Chapin to be Sunnyside up. One egg was just that and the second egg stayed on the stove a little bit longer than it should have. The Blue Cloud wasn't sweet, but it also didn't have a strong coffee taste to it. It was certainly missing an element to it. My partner had the Waffles + Eggs and substituted the strawberries and bananas for their plantains. I wasn't overly impressed at the plantains. I enjoyed my bread. The black beans were SO good. And the fresh cheese on the side was a nice salty item to have. As I look back on my photos, I feel like this plate should've been no more than $9. 2 eggs, black beans, bread, plantains, slice of fresh cheese... yeah definitely not worth $12.75. I could easily make this at home. But I was hoping by ordering it from a restaurant that it would have something extra that couldn't be recreated at home... my order didn't prove that. I also noticed from previous photos submitted by other Yelp reviewers that the serving sizes between the cheese and beans were not evenly proportional to every served plate. If they could find an equal balance of cheese and beans I think that would only be fair for the customer. I would've enjoyed and equal amount of cheese to beans on my plate. Service was friendly. They didn't provide the utensils for our order. You pick up your own food at the counter. I didn't find any napkins on any tables. The hot sauces were limited and on the counter were you pick up your food. The Waffles didn't come with any syrup or butter. We had to ask for it at the counter. The wait time to get your food was a little bit longer than I feel it should've been. They certainly have some minor kinks to work on as a new business. The "Waffles" was really just ONE single waffle divided into 4 small pieces, 2 eggs, 3 small plantains = $12.75. Another menu item I could recreate at home for less than $7 that didn't prove to be anything special. Congrats on a adding a new restaurant showcasing the diversity of options to choose from, but you won't find me coming back here. Our friend had their tamale and it was good.

I absolutely love Reu Café it's a cozy Guatemalan-based spot that honestly feels like a little hidden gem Their blue cold foam coffee is so beautiful and tastes just as good as it looks Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything on their menu hits their plates are full of flavor, and they even have great lunch specials! I love coming here when I get a little time to myself either to catch up on work or just enjoy a quiet moment. It does get busy in the mornings, but the evenings are perfect for relaxing and enjoying your coffee in peace

Laura and Carol were especially warm, cheerful, and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the chilaquiles and the breakfast sandwich, and both were fantastic. The chilaquiles were fresh and full of flavor with crispy tortilla chips topped with a rich green sauce, egg, cheese, and red onion. The breakfast sandwich was a generous portion on a warm brioche bun with thick bacon, egg, chipotle sauce, and fresh greens. We also tried the churros, which were clearly made fresh to order. They were not overly sweet, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The horchata coffee was absolutely divine and something I would come back just for. Everything here is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. The outdoor seating area with music created such a joyful, relaxing atmosphere and made the whole morning feel special. We understand places get busy with little staff but the cashier/barista yelled at both my boyfriend and her co worker. When I ordered there was four seperate customers behind me which we all ordered similar items as me. We thought she called our order first which was a misunderstanding on our part the barista then yelled at her co worker saying "it's not his" "i said it's not his" then when my boyfriend backs up she yells "it's not yours!" It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. Like I said we understand first hand being understaffed since my boyfriend and I work in the hospitality/food business. But the barista was just wiping the counter while she had 4 drinks without lids then it took her even longer to take our order plus 2 other customers orders came out when we all ordered similar items (just beverages.)

My friend and I stood in line for about 15 minutes, and once we ordered, our drinks were ready in less than five minutes. I chose the lavender matcha, and I was impressed by how well the two flavors balanced each other. Neither overpowered the other, making for a smooth and enjoyable drink. My friend ordered the hibiscus lemonade and found it light and refreshing. One of the best parts of visiting is being able to enjoy your drinks in the spacious outdoor seating area around The Enclave. Prices were reasonable at around $6-$7 per drink, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can see why this spot is so popular.

Today, we were on our way to Orange County and wanted to grab some coffee along the way. The shop is located in a really cute center with a great ambiance. There always seems to be a line, which is usually a good sign. The staff does a fairly good job serving a large number of customers, but despite that, it still took us about 20-30 minutes to get our order. The coffee was good, but not great--definitely not the best I've had. I hate writing negative reviews, but I wanted to share my honest experience and break it down individually. We ordered a flat white, which was crafted nicely, so I would give that a 5/5. As for the taste of the coffee itself, I thought it was average and would rate it a 3/5. My wife enjoyed it a bit more and would give it a 4/5. One thing I did not like was the milk they use. It is the cheapest milk you can buy, and I personally feel that a gourmet coffee shop should invest in higher-quality milk. For that reason, I would give the milk a 1/5. Ratings: * Coffee Craftsmanship: 5/5 * Coffee Taste: 3/5 (4/5 according to my wife) * Milk Quality: 1/5 * Ambiance: 5/5 * Service: 4/5 Overall, I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. I personally lean closer to a 3, but my wife insists it deserves a 4, so I'll settle on 4 stars since there isn't a 3.5-star option. I think it's worth trying for yourself and forming your own opinion. In my personal view, the coffee and overall experience were not worth the wait, but it may be worth visiting at least once to see what all the hype is about.
