He was actually paying attention to people. The staff around him seemed comfortable, not performative, which usually tells you more about a manager than anything they say. The food was good, Sabit made it better. We'll be back.

You pay first, and then they seat you. There's some seating indoors, but it's limited, compared to outdoors. I ordered a latte ($5.50) and avocado toast ($16). They add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. There is a window for to-go orders, but if you're dining in, you place your order with the gal at the podium. I have to say, although there were two staff working on drinks, my latte took a while. Luckily, it came before the food. There was a staff member waiting at the counter and delivering just drinks. Once I got my latte, it tasted good. Strong. I felt the caffeine. The avocado toast was good, too. It was served in a shallow metal dish. Thick, high quality, Artisan bread. I enjoyed the toasted pumpkin seeds. I would definitely order it again, but open to ordering something else on the menu next time. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There was another gentleman standing in the back, immediately clearing tables. It's better if you come earlier on the weekends. There was a line of people when I was leaving. There's plenty of free street parking. I parked across the street.

I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. Each comes with three potatoes that are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. All in all was solid, tasty, and a cute little location! However, as we were walking to our car, the waiter and busser came outside looking for us, believing we had not paid. From the parking lot, I could see them searching and had my husband walk back to clarify. The situation was resolved quickly and the server apologized, but it was uncomfortable and embarrassing. Especially after using the payment method they provided. I understand that technical delays can happen, but I would recommend verifying payment status internally before approaching guests in that way.
