Great day at the office when catering serves breakfast! These awesome ladies showed up before the work day of 8 AM started and set up to prepare for the flock of hungry teams who wanted something sweet or savory for breakfast. The stand was so cute with bright lights and great presentation of all the ingredients. Their cooking time was fast, finishing cooking crepes within 5 minutes for each person. I ordered a sweet crepe and the crepe cook did her magic in filling it with strawberries, Nutella, bananas, whipped cream and powdered sugar. :) Thé crêpe itself was crunchy and had a thick texture that it was filling too. The fruits were fresh and refreshing to balance out the sweetness from the Nutella and whipped cream. It definitely made my day and gave me that sugar high to start the work day. Creperie Saint Germain Catering provided very delicious AND HEALTHY crepe choices! They recently catered lunch at my company and I really enjoyed their crepes! The crepe batter is buckwheat (and gluten-free) and pretty solid. For savory crepes, they had several options for meat: sausage, bacon, ham, turkey (and tofu for vegetarians). For vegetables, they had olives, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, green onions, and a few others that I forget. Of course, there's also cheese (mozzarella as far as I could tell)! The only thing I was disappointed about for the savory crepe was that they didn't put it on the griddle long enough, so some of the ingredients were still cold when I ate it (it's all precooked so no worries there, just would have liked it hot), but nothing a quick round in the microwave can't fix. I also got a sweet crepe which was delicious! For these, they had strawberries and bananas as fresh fruit toppings, as well as dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, caramel and Nutella as spreads. Creperie Saint Germain catered a Yelp get together in Saint Helena today and it was great! I had two of their crepes, one filled with lettuce, pesto, and tomatoes and the other was a banana and nutella crepe. The vege crepe was a bit of a let down due to the abundance of lettuce added, spent most of my time digging out the excess lettuce, but the crepe itself was very tasty. The sweet crepe with banana, nutella, and whipped cream was spot on in comparison to some European crepes I've had! Overall I would hands down order some of Saint Germain's crepes if I saw them at another party as they were quite tasty! read more

I was wondering how a catered crepe lunch was going to work but these guys have it down pat. They make the crepes fresh right there and you can pick the fillings that you want for the savory. Had it sober for the first time last weekend. This place is great after a late night at temple, the crepe and grease soothing your stomach. But I'm glad to say it holds up even without the benefit of a drunken palate. I got the braised beef with jalepenos and I really lied that they used raw jalepenos instead of the standard pickled. These were much spicer and gave the crepe a nice fresh crunch. The beef was tasty and had some nice crispy bits. Almost like beef carnitas. About a month ago I was in a panic trying to find a caterer who (1.) I could book last minute (2.) Was affordable (3.) Upscale enough to impress clients (4.) Could make a completely vegetarian and vegan menu (5.) Make delicious food Creperie Saint Germain hit all the notes I was looking for and thensome. I can tell you as a omnivore their vegetarian options are very satisfying. The Soy Chorizo is completely hunger sating, the veggies are fresh and that chipotle sauce is out of this world. Oh and those nutella strawberry, banana and whipped cream crepes?! I'm salivating just thinking about it. It's hard finding a vegetarian caterer, it's even harder finding a GOOD vegetarian caterer that you don't get sick of. It starts to become a lot of bread and cheese and carbs but the fact the crepes are custom made to order keeps everything exciting. The first time I used them was a month ago, I've rebooked them 3 times since. They perfect for everything we need them for, casual meetings, upscale cocktail parties and everything in between. Not only do they always come on time and completely prepared but they know how to set up to avoid blowing a fuse and bring all the extension cords needed for that. While I don't recommend booking any caterer last minute, Creperie St Germain has been so accommodating in all the times I've needed them in a rush. read more

The whole concept of having a live crepe station was hit in the party but i was disappointed with the fact that paying for live crepe station..i expected them to take the crepe fresh in front of the guests. So they just warmed the "already made crepes" and made the crepes as per the guests choice of ingredients. Creperie St. Germaine catered my wedding reception and they did an amazing job! My wedding reception was cocktail style but we didn't want to go with regular finger foods. We wanted our guests to have substantial food to eat but not a formal sit-down dinner. We also wanted a completely gluten free menu since my husband and several of our friends have Celiac. The guests really enjoyed the food and all commented on how fast the staff made the crepes. I, unfortunately, did not get to eat much but the 2 bites I had of my savory crepe was delicious. My biggest regret about my wedding reception was that I didn't get to eat a sweet crepe! Also, working out the details with Taryn prior to the event was so easy and smooth. She was so easy to work with and was quick to respond to my emails. I will definitely work with Creperie St. Germain again for any catering needs. read more

Great service. Super straightforward communication before booking, Taryn is very clear and quick in responding. On the day of the party, staff came to the party location even ahead of the agreed time, and coordinated set up and preparation with the venue, so by the time I (the host) showed up - everything was done and ready to go. And then throughout the party chefs were very friendly and efficient and made the party special. The crepes themselves - so delicious! We did the crepe bar and i can't recommend it highly enough - so many options and ingredients to chose from! Every single guest loved them and we received tons on complements. Creperie Saint Germain caters my office lunch about 4 or 5 times a year (they are an office favorite!). In that time, I think I have consumed upside of 15 total crepes, which I think qualifies me to write this review:) The staff from CSG is super efficient. They arrive about 45 minutes before the meal starts and set up all of the toppings (20+) in small stainless steel bowls. For my 60 person office, they have brought as many as 4 burners and 2 servers. I estimate that it takes 2 minutes per crepe, so the lines move pretty quickly. Crepes have fresh ingredients, taste awesome, and are made to order. I recommend the ham/spinach/mozzarella with hot sauce, but you can pick pretty much ANY combination to suit your taste. For dessert crepe, I am partial to to their plain Jane powdered sugar and lemon curd... thought you can get a nutella/banana crepe for something a bit richer. When food service is done, the CSG team clean everything up and leave 30 minutes after the last crepe has been served. Savory crepes are delicious especially the Smoked Salmon Crepe and the Ratatouille. Bechamel Chicken Crepe and Braised Beef Crepe were also favorites. Citron Club sweet crepe was awesome as well as the Chocolat with brownie chunks! The one French employee in our office wanted to make sure that it was real buckwheat crepe, she confirmed this and gave rave reviews on your crepes. And don't forget their salads. These guys were a hit at our daughter's birthday party!!! Their crepes were fresh, delicious, and fast!!! And the chefs were super friendly and personable! I have to admit I was initially worried that they could not feed 60+ people sweet and savory crepes in an hour but THEY DID IT!!! And not once did I see a line forming. They were even nice enough to leave extra prepared crepes for guests to take with them at the end. Even our native French guests thought their crepes were delicious!!! Rick has really put together a topnotch group of dedicated staff that will go above and beyond to customize things to your needs, and they are always punctual, upbeat, and friendly.
